Thayers Witch hazel doesn’t contain alcohol, which can dry out your skin and cause more acne. But Witch Hazel is just an astringent, and if you are experiencing some breakouts, maybe try Niacinimide (controls oil) and Salicylic acid spot treatment [both these products can be found by The Ordinary, they have high quality ingredient and cheap products] and also be gentle to your skin :)
