Replacing my high end primers!

For $20 this is an awesome primer. I have combo/dry skin with acne and redness, but I didn’t experience any sensitivity or breakouts from this. I applied it to the top of my hand to compare the visible pores on one hand to another, and I was honestly shocked at the difference! It feels really nice going on, it’s not overly sticky or slippery, and the packaging feels super luxe for the price! My foundation stayed on about as well as it does with my YSL touché eclat, porefessional, and hangover primer. I felt with the whipped texture, that I didn’t need as much product as I do with my other primers, especially the YSL and hangover. This will probably become my main primer except on super dry days when I really need a heavy silicone.

Great product!

I have oily skin and large pores. This blurs over everything and leaves a nice smooth surface. My skin is so soft too! Leaves a natural look as opposed to a heavy coverage. I wear it alone and it gives my skin an extra boost. I do get some oil on my skin at the end of the day, but blotting papers and powder help (and to be fair, I get that with most products). The container looks tiny but it lasts forever.

So Fluffy & Good!

The Whipped Cream Primer is fluffy, airy, light and puffy. It applies smoothly and gives a natural matte finish.A little goes a long way for giving a good makeup base and smoothing skin. Makeup applies nicely over this primer and doesn't pill up or become streaky. It feels very nice on my skin. This primer works well for oily skin and helps with preventing oil slicks and makeup fading. The scent is very, very light and pleasant but doesn't linger. This primer is a top shelf item for me. I love it and you will too!

I really wanted to love this primer!

I was all *primed* (haha!) and ready to love this primer after watching Tati's review on YouTube. But I've tried wearing it 3 different days now, and it has failed on me every time. It looks absolutely awful after just 2 or 3 hours. It simultaneously breaks apart my foundation, makes it look patchy, and makes my foundation & concealer settle into every. single. fine. line. on my face. It is NOT cute. It makes me look older, due to the settling and exaggerating fine lines. My foundation/concealer looks better and lasts longer if I simply use NO primer, vs using the Whipped Cream Primer. I'm mystified, as pretty much everyone else seems to adore this stuff. Here's a breakdown of my experience... Wear day #1: I wore moisturizer, applied the Primer all over, and then did a light application of foundation. It creased, settled into lines, and broke apart within 2 hours. Wear day #2: I wore moisturizer, applied the Primer ONLY on my cheeks, nose, and forehead, and then did a light application of foundation. Again, the Primer slid all over the place within 3 hours and wound up creasing & settling into my smile lines & under eyes! Wear day #3: Moisturizer, applied the Primer everywhere again, then applied foundation & concealer, and then used setting powder & spray, hoping that was the missing ingredient. Before you go hollering at me for not using a powder/spray the other days, I've A) never had to use a setting powder with my previous primer/foundation combo in order to prevent this creasing issue; and B) I don't really like using setting powders anyway, as it looks too dry for my liking. Anyways, it didn't matter. Same deal. Creases, settling, and very visible fine lines galore within 2 hours of doing my makeup. For reference, my skin is combination. It usually starts off dry, but it can get oily/shiny as the day goes on. I have very faint smile lines, faint forehead lines, and not really any visible under eye lines (until this Primer magically found them and made them stand out! Yikes!) My skin's pretty smooth generally, with some more visible pores on my nose/cheeks. My forehead and temples can get a little dry/texturey sometimes. My old combo of primer/foundation, or even just my foundation or a little concealer alone without any primer, held up much better than using this Whipped Cream Primer. Sorry for the long review, but I hope it's helpful to others with similar skin types. Less

Love this primer!

I have large pores and combination skin that tends more toward the oily side more than the dry but the dry patches are definitely there and I have been searching for the "Holy Grail" primer for years. I think I found it! A little goes a long way with this primer and it goes on like a smooth smooth dream. My pores and fine lines/wrinkles appear diminished. My foundation applies over it easily and I'm able to do whatever I want with my makeup without the primer pilling or moving around. I recently used this primer (under makeup) while out and about in 100+ degree weather and, by the end of the day, everything still looked great. I'm completely impressed by everything about this primer!
