blends well

this is the most beautiful gold sheen eyeshadow, perfect for an inner eye highlight and very easy to blend

- Sephora User

this feels like butter and blends like a dream

does not have fallout

theyre pigmented, they go on smoothly, they last a long time without having to touch-up constantly, they do have a good amount of fall-out with this product when applying, but overall theyre fantastic and affordable

- Sephora User

good news is that once i remove the fallout from application, they shadow has great staying power and looks great till i take it off before bed

not creasing

eye shadow lasts all night, no creasing

- Ulta User

i always used to have creased eye-shadow and constantly fixing it throughout the day, but this stuff has been like a miracle, it gives a great base for my eye-shadow and stays in place all day until i take it off, or after a good night out i wake up with my eye-shadow still looking fab in the morning

- Debenhams User

staying power

i can even put a light serum or eye gel (such as kate somerville’s wrinkle warrior eye gel) on beneath, and still my eye shadow and liner stays put all day (even with a sweaty lunchtime bootcamp class thrown in)

- Mecca User

the original ud travel sized primer potion doesn't just keep for long, it makes your eyeshadow last all day (and night lol)

- Urbandecay User

i wear this every day as my new setting powder and the fact that it's translucent allows me to put it over the top of any foundation/bb cream/tinted moisturiser

- Mecca User

i've worn it every day and haven't even tried the sheer one yet

UD Primer, but w a big plus for 30+ (pale 43 yr old user)

Conclusion: this is a must-have staple if you experience eye-makeup meltdown/"hot lava eyeball", dissolving/creasing eyeshadows, or the dreaded eyeliner "rainbow" stamp (eyeliner making a reverse print of itself on the upper lid when you blink). While I still prefer squirting the UD primer to this wand, I found the Anti-Aging UD lost none of the effectiveness of Original UD at holding all my eye makeup in place over time, though I noticed a difference in the consistency of the two products (more on that below) and I, as a super pale woman with blue veins, would like a touch more "hide" to this nearly invisible formula. This primer holds my makeup 24 plus hours (it is safe to assume it will keep working until you take it off), and it is all the while benefitting the skin around my eyes, and I love that, even though I can't say I can measure that effect empirically. My eye skin gets man-handled with eyelash curlers and stretched as I apply my full "war paint" with liquid eyeliner every work day, even though I try to be careful. I deep treat frequently at bedtime to hold the eye wrinkles at bay (I'm 43 and still get mistaken for 28, thank you Estée Lauder), but with this product, I'm doubling down in the battle against eye bags and lines with daytime treatment, too. Deep treat eye wrinkle potions don't usually work well with makeup in my experience, or I would add those to my daytime regimen. My experience with other brands/Reason I use it: I have tried every brand in 43 years and had nearly given up trying to find the holy grail of eye primer to combat what I called my "Hot Lava Eyeballs" (because they melt every eye product, waterproof or not). Anyone who says this doesn't work likely didn't use it properly. I have gifted tubes of this to people who ask about my makeup and they, like me, found this stuff is the answer to the nightmare of eye makeup meltdown. I'm over-dramatizing but I choose to think my eyes are my best feature- I have a blue eye and a green eye. Growing up, I didn't like when people noticed that, because being physically different can be uncomfortable in your teenage years. I'm embracing it now because it's a link to my grandmother, who had this rare genetic mutation, and her mother, and so on through our family line, and it's nice to have a reminder of my Grandmother when I look at my eyes- I do not however, want to see my Grandmother's wrinkles staring back at me, so I'm using the Anti-Aging formula!Application: Proper use involves evenly applying a thin layer (one or two swipes of the wand and no more!), then setting the area with neutral toned shadow, and then apply your eye products as normal. When I use a touch of self tanner the night before, I don't need to use any more color hide to secrete the prominent blue veins running across both my upper eyelids to my brows. If I'm my normal Casper the Ghost pale self, I use this product, then a thin touch of NYX primer pot on the vein area and smooth it evenly to blend, then do the setting matte eyeshadow. One criticism (other than that irritating wand that all the UD formulas now employ): I would like more pigment in this formula to hide my veins which are very prominent on my pale skin. The product is a very neutral pale beige that is meant to be nearly invisible, and it succeeds - when it is on, there is really no tonal change coming from this product, which also means that it likely works for a huge range of pale to dark skin tones as is.For long days in old courtrooms, when I'm sweating from my satin lined wool suit in overheated courtrooms, running outside in the rain and snow at lunch, this stuff truly works, holds refuses to let my eyeliner melt to my nose. You can't fairly ask for more, but... if the anti-aging formula were in the Eden tone, I would likely buy the Eden tone version of this anti-aging instead. Maybe someday.Consistency notes: this felt less creamy than the original UD when it came out of the tube- no significant difference in feel when the product is on the eyelid other than I felt this product felt the slightest bit lighter on the lid. However, I squirted from a tube every time I used Original, and I have only used the wand with this formula (I tries this formula exactly as the company switched to wands). Original UD doesn't feel heavy on the eye but I was aware of my eye being made up, where I'm less aware of that sensation with this product. « less

Love it

I know this palette has received mixed reviews but honestly I can't understand why. The colours are beautiful and the cheek palette is just gorgeous. There is almost no fallout and the colours blend beautifully. The blush looks like it may be dark for fair skin but if you put it on with a light hand it can go on sheer even though they are very pigmented. I'm just in love with the colours and I also wear the peachy highlighter as a blush. If you love the colours then this is a gorgeous palette.

Great eyeshadow

These eyeshadows are my absolute favorites. They are highly pigmented and blend easily. Even after 12 hours, they still look fantastic and do not crease. I have re-purchased Half Baked and Flash several times.

Only for medium skin tones

I cannot comment on the waterproof ability or staying power because the shade of this was far too dark for me for use on all over the face. It is not translucent but opaque tan. When I applied it to my T-zone, it became three shades darker than the rest of my face. The color in the pan is nowhere near as light as pictured. I would love for UD to diversify this powder's range. I may use this as a bronzer/contour. Definitely dark enough for me to do so.

Great eyeshadow!

I have this in the matte black color, Perversion. This eyeshadow is fantastic! It is smooth, very pigmented, lasts all day, blends easily, and is crease-resistant. I feel like it will last me a long time. I was lucky to get it on sale for only $6, but I think it is worth the full price.
