the colors are well pigmented, beautifully blendable, and although i'm not a fan of dual-sided brushes, his one works and is of great quality

(as compared to the naked1 palette, which i've had for over a year and it is completely trashed, the "naked" logo on the front is rubbing off)colors: this is a super hard decision

Essential Pallet for EVERYONE

My long search for an everyday neutral pallet has come to an end with Naked2. I own several pallets already, a few in attempts to pass them off as a potential "official" everyday eyeshadow pallet - yet each one I own lacked certain components that maybe another one may fulfill and vice versa. Even the original Naked pallet was never appealing to me with its shimmer/glitter-driven pigments. Then finally, UD releases Naked2, with the perfect combination of both matte and shimmer/glitter neutrals making it very versatile (easy transitions from day to night wear) and conveniently portable. The colors are well pigmented, beautifully blendable, and although I'm not a fan of dual-sided brushes, his one works and is of great quality. A personal opinion - I only wish it came with primer potion instead of gloss since I own more than can fulfill my lifetime's worth and am not a big fan of wearing gloss/plumpers anyway.I read a few reviews stating that this pallet is more suitable with cooler-toned skin, but the color works extremely well with my warm-toned skin... « less

Glad I waited

I hemmed and hawed for a long time, eyeing the original NAKED palette. I have never spent that much on eyeshadow. But I yearned for a combination of subtle sexiness and quality in eye makeup.Just as I finally caved and was about to order the original for myself as a birthday present, I saw that the NAKED 2 palette had just come out. I checked out the colors and loved that one even more!I use it every day. I just love it. "Tease" is such a nice crease shade for a subtle, daytime smoky eye. Apply the matte cream shade on the entire lid and then you can create the shape of the smokey eye crease with "Tease", and blend the edges of the darker color really well. Use a little bit of Booty Call at the corner of your eyes and by your brow, and then finish with eyeliner and mascara. It's so subtle and perfect for day but totally transforms your eye shape. The other colors are beautiful, too, and great for nighttime occasions and/or liners. The consistency is so smooth, and it lasts all day for me, I only have to touch it up at night if I have plans. You'll love it. Don't wait as long as I did. « less

Impressed. Won't disappoint.

This is my first UD shadow purchase, and I am happy. The packaging is great, solid tray easy to hold when applying on others. The brush is a nice quality. The gloss, to my suprise is a perfectly soft, nude pink, and I LOVE it. Very sexy. Now for the shadows....Some colors have a bit of fine sparkle, not glitter. It travels a bit so apply powder under your eyes to catch the bits that fall during application. The colors are highly pigmented and blend nicely. Just be aware, I thought these neutrals looked a bit different in person than on the site, they appear a bit cooler than they actually are. Not to worry though, if you are looking for some nice frosty neutrals, this is your kit. Not many matte colors. These colors run from bronzy into to silvery taupes and pewters with nice effects. This is a true naked-neutral palette that I think would work on anyone regardless of skin tone. For all of the colors being 'naked' neutral, there are many looks to be had. You can't lose with this pallette, it's a great purchase. Pricey, but worth it. « less

Best palette I've ever owned.

Packaging:I love the sleek cover and the fact that it snaps shut. For my other palettes that don't snap or close hard, I usually end up breaking pans of eyeshadow. This, however, could easily with stand me dropping it on the floor. My only complaint is that in order for me to snap it close I need to close the right side first and then push the left side toward the front and push down at the same time.Brush: Very soft. The crease end is the perfect size for getting it right in my deep crease. Does the job well.Eyeshadows: Excellent quality, although they only tend to last 3-4 hours without the UDPP. Pigmentation is great and it is easily blendable. My only complaint is that there aren't more mattes. All very versatile shades - I have used every single one for either a classic day look or for a night when I'm going out.Price: You get what you pay for. You're paying for quality and it delivers. I have no reservations about paying $60 for 12 quality eyeshadows, all that I will definitely wear. « less

Big mess

This product arrived crushed thanks to poor packaging and shipping by Ulta. But I still wanted to give it a try, in spite of the mess in my house and on my clothing from the package. SO I ordered it elsewhere and tried it today. I usually LOVE Urban Decay eye shadows but this is just a big mess. What I brush on my top lid or crease or lash line just falls down on my cheek. AND as always, I tap and blow to get rid of excess before applying. AND I was using the Urban Decay eyeshadow primer.I had to wash my cheek after applying.I love matte shadows and had been excited about the possiblities with this one, but alas, it was not to be. I cannot recommend.
