stays on well without setting spray, doesn’t crease, and blends well

- Sephora User

stark in the crease defined with cover is my favorite contoured eye look

- Sephora User

blends well

i love how this applies and it blends really well

- Sephora User

i love the matte colors, they go on so silky smooth, wears all day, no smudging, and you can layer and blend these 5 colors to create many different looks

- Ulta User

i love the color and silky texture

- Ulta User

the other taupe colors all complement each other very well, the texture silky smooth, and the color pigmented enough

- Sephora User

does not have fallout

i love the all matte pigments - they are easy to use, there is very little fall-out, nicely pigmented, and the color stays all day long

- Ulta User

I bought this for myself as a Christmas present and I have been using this palette almost everyday for the past 2 months and i cannot say enough good things about this!!! The shades are so pigmented, they blend like a dream and they are beautiful colours!!! It does say all the colours are matte, but Skimp (the lightest) is only semi matte, but its still amazing!!! I also use the colour Cover as eyebrow powder as well as my crease colour!! It is a gorgeous medium brown that looks so good on everyone!! My only problem is that they dont stick without a primer, but they stay for a good 2-3 hours when used by them selves Bottom Line I would and do recommend this to everyone looking for great everyday matte eye shadows, or anyone in general

Love it!

I went in to buy this thinking that I wouldn't love it, and boy did Urban Decay prove me wrong. This was my first all matte eye shadow palette. I skipped the first Naked Basics because the colors were a little bit too yellow toned for me. When I bought this, I though the colors would blend into my skin too much and wouldn't show up. Well, that might have been the case with swatches, but on my eyes the colors showed up amazing. The eye shadows have the typical amazing Urban Decay quality. Creamy and smooth with absolutely no fall out. With these colors, I was able to put together a perfect smokey within 5 minutes. I used all of the colors and they blended in perfectly together. Even without eye shadow primer, the colors showed up amazingly pigmented and lasted all day. This palette is great for traveling. It is light and compact. The only other thing you would need is a brush. This is great for people that love the Naked palettes, but would like to stray away from all of the shimmer. This is also great for beginners, people that want Naked palettes but don't feel like paying the $50 price tag, and for people of all skin tones. In my opinion, this is a must buy!

Keep coming back to you, babe <3

When I bought this tiny palette over two years ago, I never imagined I would use it literally every day for the next two years. Well, here I am. I've hit pan on a few shades but this baby still has lots of life left. I tried finding dupes for Frisk and Cover, as they are my most used shades (Barcelona Beach from Makeup Geek and Birthday Suit from Morphe come close), but honestly the convenience of having your perfect highlight, crease, liner, and lower lash colors all at your fingertips makes this palette indispensable. As others have noted, there is some fallout from the darker shades, but in my mind the blendability and pigmentation of the shadows make up for it tenfold. In my opinion this palette is a great value at $30 because it lasts for ever, both from a packaging and product standpoint. Will definitely be repurchasing if it ever run out... maybe a few more years from now!

Not a Fan

I'm going to go against the grain here, but I really don't like this product. It's the first urban decay eyeshadow I've owned and I was really expecting to love it given the reviews. The colors are fine and I will say the pigmentation is nice. However, that's where my love affair ends with this product. I find it to be really dry and overly powdery in texture. I feel like it accentuates any fine lines I have on my eyelids which honestly aren't a lot given I'm in my early 30's. It looked like my eyes had aged after putting this on. It also seems to have a lot of fallout and the long narrow pans aren't the easiest to use. Alone with being the only eyeshadow I own that still creases by the end of the day even with primer. I wish I had kept the packaging so I could return it, but I was convinced I'd learn to love it. After trying to work with it for a couple of months I've accepted it's just not for me.

Everyday perfect

Love this palette so much. It works better on my skin tone than the original. I'm very fair and the colors are versatile on me. Stark in the crease defined with Cover is my favorite contoured eye look. I wouldn't call the palette cool toned. Skimp and Stark are warm beiges, Cover is a warm reddish tan, Frisk is a neutral taupe gray, Primal is a darker warm taupe and Undone is even a pretty neutral/warm charcoal. They're all pigmented and blend seamlessly (except for Undone which has a lot of fallout, though, so I barely use it). My favorite thing about it is you can do a whole look with one or two brushes. So easy to use. The colors show more variation on my skin tone than the original. But on certain medium skin tones I can see the colors in this one looking too similar. If you are medium or darker you might appreciate the darker shades Faint and Crave in the original.

i have really fair skin and naturally super light eyebrows that you can barely see despite their thickness. i use a shade from like the Naked 2 Basics palette to fill in my brows and the Goof Proof Brow Pencil from Benefit to create the shape and i’ve had so many people assume they’re natural!
