staying power

it blends so incredibly well and stays put even after 8 hours of work

- Sephora User

you don't need to set this with powder and it lasts the whole day

- House Of Fraser User

it’s lightweight, full coverage and blends like a dream; with a brush it looks full coverage and when you use a beauty blender it doesn’t dissappear like some lightweight concealers will do

- Sephora User

it's lightweight yet covers like a full coverage

- Ulta User

not creasing

best ever does not crease what so ever my new holy grail concealer love it

- Sephora User

ever other concealer i have tried does not cover well, and settles terribly in the fine lines under my eyes, makes me look older, and does not fully cover my under eye dark circles

- Ulta User

it does cover acne and dark spots if you build it and i believe the light weight of it keeps my skin remaining clear because i'm not weighing it down with a super heavy foundation

- Ulta User

it’s such a light weight foundation that has fabulous coverage and it’s also buildable which i love for days where my skin needs more coverage

- Urbandecay User

pore minimizing

pore minimizing

i have textured skin and this literally hides my enlarged pores and smooths over everything beautiful

- Urbandecay User

i have larger pores and acne scars from my teen years and this foundation covers them all nicely

- Ulta User

i love the texture, it is so weightless and feels like i'm wearing nothing at all, and it makes my skin look luminous

- Urbandecay User

i feel like it has the coverage of the mac pro long wear (which it smells exactly like pro long wear) with the blend-ability and weightlessness of the nars radiant creamy concealer

- Sephora User

color correction

color correcting

i have a lot of redness that i balance with the color correcting fluid & i am blown away how well this foundation hides the color correcting tones underneath

- Ulta User

this covers my naturally red skin without color correcting and without caking on the product

- Sephora User

it is flawless after blended in (i used a beauty blender) it smoothly blends into your skin effortlessly and it looks beautiful throughout the day

- Sephora User

like how smooth it feels on my skin and how well it covers

- Ulta User

blends well

when i got this i was immediately surprised how beautifully it blended

- Sephora User

it goes on smoothly, blends perfectly, feels like i'm not wearing anything, provides great coverage and makes me skin look like it's absolutely glowing

- Ulta User

under eye

good for under eye

i digress, this is by far the best under eye concealer, it does have to be set but it just blurs and looks flawless, i absolutely adore it and feel amazing every time i wear it

- Feelunique User

perfect for an undereye and blemish concealer

- Sephora User

best concealer for all dry/combination skin

- Sephora User

no steaks no creasing it doesn't bring out my dry areas

- Sephora User

water resistance

water resistant

after doing my eyes and blush, i finished it up with the waterproof powder and all nighter finishing spray

- Qvc User

after numerous trips and bank-breaking investment in waterproof high-end eye products, i finally got to enjoy all of them for what they were created to do: enhance my eyes instead of making me look like a cross between a panda bear and a racoon

- Sephora User

color accuracy

doesn't oxidize

it doesn't oxidize, it photographs beautifully, and sets like a dream with my favorite loose translucent setting powder

- Urbandecay User

however -- once i tried the concealer, i experienced no clinging, no patchiness, and no oxidization on my fair skin (i'm in the shade 'fair neutral'

- Sephora User

i love the demi matte finish

- Urbandecay User

the finish is demi matte but offers this lit from within look, absolute lit

- Urbandecay User

medium coverage

this concealer blends very well, and gives a beautiful and natural finish and is still a good medium coverage concealer

- Ulta User

for with the beauty blender one layer results in a light to medium coverage and it's buildable for areas that need more

The best foundation of life.

This is the best foundation I have ever used, and I am jumping the gun to say that this will be my absolute favorite for the rest of my life (well as long as it is continued to be made). I am a foundation junkie and have been since over 7 years now. I have tried almost every high end and drugstore and this is the absolute best. Bible. Funny story, I used to hate this foundation when I first tried, it never stayed on my face, it transferred, couldn't last for more than 2 hours.. So I didn't think too much about it. 2 years later I decided to give it a try again and I was so speechless at how amazing it was. I don't believe there was a formula change, but I pinpointed what made this foundation so terrible to me 2 years ago... That was, silicone. I use to wear a silicone based moisture and primer and it just made this foundation slip and slide off. The coverage was not full, finish was too dewy for my liking, felt gross. I thought it was the foundation but no it was my moisturizer and primer. I quit using silicone based moisturizers and primers about a year and a half ago because I've noticed that t clogged my pores much for quickly. Since I switched to a more natural lifestyle and stopped using silicone based skincare (I consider primer as the final skin care step for day use). When I had tried this foundation again with my new prep regimen I fell in love and haven't stopped using it. I've tried others but nothing compares to this. The finish is Demi matte, it is so light weight and I am a point in life where I can't stand heavy feeling makeup. This provides medium to full builds me coverage that looks so natural. The finish is Demi matte but offers this lit from within look, absolute lit. Along with the concealer it is fire I am telling you. My new face regime: silicone free moisturizer (Shea moisture African black soap moisturizer), silicone free primer (too faced hangover primer), primer powder to set my primer and to create a pore less lightweight look (Alima pure primer powder), UD NAKED FOUNDATION, UD naked concealer wherever needed I use correctives if needed as well, and I let that sit on its own for a few minutes then set with it cosmetics bye bye pores powder. This is the dream combination. Letting your foundation settle first is important for longerwear purposes, same with the primer. Allowing it to soak in the skin for 5 min then setting it makes our makeup last more than 16 hours let me tel you that. Gross but we've all had long days. This foundation will not break you out and I have extremely sensitive, acne prone, eczema prone, combination skin. The ingredients avoid major chemicals,' it is vegan and it is life. I recommend this to absolutely everyone it is a life changer. I have gone through 2 bottles and a little goes a long way. I highly recommend to all you beauties wanting to try this out. I am around an NC 25 and NC 30 depending on seasons and the shades 3 and 4 match me perfectly and I also mix the two if I'm in between shades. Less

Great for my skin

I've always found foundation reviews to be very biased because they're never actually based on the product as a whole more so than how it works for each individuals skin type. So for me personally, this foundation gets 5 stars, I have combination skin that I can manage fine- the only time I get any real breakouts is when mother nature comes for her monthly visit.I have to say I would class this foundation as a light to light-medium coverage and that I wouldn't rely on it to cover breakouts on it's own, but for otherwise clear skin I think this stuff is great. I use one and a quarter pumps for my entire face and neck (the quarter pump is more for some extra concealing under my eyes). The coverage is certainly less than that of my Kat Von D lock it liquid foundation and the finish is a little more dewy and not entirely matte, but I much prefer how this foundation feels and looks as an everyday foundation. The colour match is great, I'm quite pale with warm undertones. I have this in shade 1.0 which is surprisingly neutral for a warm shade, as I always found my KVD in the shade L45 to be a little on the yellow side (though I suspect actually this shade is a little too dark for me).The finish is lovely and the coverage is definitely build-able but then I feel like you lose that "naked" look. I usually set my foundation with a loose powder but with the UD I don't really feel this need as it isn't sticky and I haven't really had any issues with it transferring or how it lasts. As I said, I apply this for my everyday foundation and for an average day that would usually be around 8.30am. I return home from work at 4.30 and don't really feel the need for a touch up, if I'm suffering particularly that day with my oily t-zone I'll probably settle it down with some powder. I have to say the lasting power is even better when used with a primer but I tend to only reach for my primer if I'm going out and not as an everyday routine. When reading the negative reviews for this foundation, the main complaints I found were to do with the consistency, and how it covers red patches / break outs. I have to say if you don't like a really liquid near-water texture foundation, then this is not the foundation for you- this consistency, of course, delivers a much lighter coverage than a gel, cream, or mousse foundation so if you have a lot of problem areas, again I wouldn't say this is the right foundation for you. You can definitely build on the coverage with this but again, I think this takes away from the 'naked' look and if you're looking for a full coverage, you're not looking for 'naked skin'.All in all, your preference will come down to your skin type, your preferred coverage and whatever other facts matter to you in a foundation. This does not make this foundation a "bad" foundation. It means that it's not right for you. Whilst the description does depict a medium coverage, I would say that's based on the face of a person with good skin and few imperfections, and definitely lean more towards calling it a light to light medium coverage. For me, this is a perfect everyday foundation so I would certainly recommend it to those who are looking for a foundation that is light on their skin, and have a reasonably clear complexion- I don't find that it clings to any dry patches just that sometimes I have to set my t-zone with powder- but otherwise it seemed pretty suitable for my sensitive combination skin. I'd say give it a try if you seem to match my description :) after all, you can always return it if you're not completely satisfied! Less

Helps those dark circles. It does crease for me sometimes but I also have a lot of fine lines under my eyes. It also blends beautifully on spots you want to cover. Sometimes I’ll use that on a bare face and you can’t even tell it’s on.

BEST Foundation Ever.

So basically I have ridiculously oily skin, huge nose pores, acne scars, redness, and current acne all around the jawline of my face. I can never seem to find a product that walks the line between full coverage, and light and natural. I thought I had to choose between a weightless makeup lacking coverage or a full coverage foundation that looks cakey and unnatural, like Dermablend or Colorstay.I went to Macy's and a nice lady named Nicolette helped me. She gave me a makeup wipe to take of all of my makeup, and did my entire face with this foundation, topped with the Urban Decay Surreal Skin Mineral Powder. My skin was covered, but glowing and beautiful, not feeling heavy or flat, but also not oily....just glowing. Here's what I do. I wash with Purity cleanser in the shower, and when I hop out, I use a SMALL drop of Olay sensitive skin moisturizer. Once that dries, it's time to begin!I take a dime sized amount of Hard Candy Skin Perfecting Primer and lightly spread it over my face, to fill in my pores and give the foundation more staying power. I then shake the foundation bottle vigorously (like the bottle says), and pump ONE pump onto the back of my left hand. I spread it around a little to make a puddle, and use my ELF flat top powder brush, I dip it into the puddle and stipple it onto my face, starting with the areas I need most coverage. That first pump does my whole right check and forehead. As you stipple, you want to alternate between pressing and kind of making circles....you want the coverage of pushing it onto the skin, but it's nice and liquidy so you can blend easily. I then do a 2nd pump and do my other cheek and chin, and then I use a 1/2 pump to do my nose, around my mouth, and just kind of make sure everything is blended together around the hairline and down the jawline and such. As it sets, I move on to eye makeup, and then I apply some blush. To finish the face, I use the Surreal Skin mineral powder, and using a big fluffy Ecotools powder brush, I pick up a little and dust it all over my face. This step sets the foundation, helps control oil, gives you that polished mineral glow, and gives ME the little bit of extra coverage I need. Plus, you can leave the liquid at home and just touch-up throughout the day with the powder, since it has the travel-friendly packaging and attached puff. Once I'm all done, I hold a spray bottle as far away from my face as my arm will reach, and lightly spray my face with a mist of water, to set everything and get rid of the powdery look...I have blonde peach fuzz all over my face, and makeup tends to stick to my little hairs. The foundation alone covers very well, especially when you stipple on with a heavy hand, but I always like to finish with powder because of my oiliness. Since you only need like 2 pumps and 2 brush-fulls of powder, I have a feeling this makeup will last me a long time. Also, when I first did this whole routine yesterday, I worked a 6 hr day and came out to my car with all of my makeup still in place, and the oily thing different was an oily T-zone. :)My shade in this makeup is 3.5, which is a light with slight pink undertones. It matches perfectly, and the shade of powder Illusion gives the perfect contrast between pink and yellow undertones in my skin, making the whole effect sort of neutral.Lastly, this foundation has vitamins, peptides, green tea, and other ingredients that are actually good for your skin. The whole foundation is just very glowy and light reflecting, diffusing flaws beautifully, while still providing coverage and staying power if you apply correctly. Less

It's a No From Me, Dawg

I thought this concealer was OK at first, but the more I consider the price point, I just don't think it's worth it at all. If this was a cheaper I might give it 3 stars, but it's way too expensive for the quality. It ages my under eyes by about seven years. It gave me the appearance of having deep set wrinkles, which I don't typically have. It even looks a bit cakey after I moisturize and use a hydrating under eye primer. For something advertised as skin-like/weightless, and for having such a thin consistency, I didn't expect it to be so drying. It does look slightly creasy immediately after I set it and can DEF cling to dry patches. Though I will say, that it doesn't crease more throughout the day, at least not noticeably. It is sheer coverage but can be built up to a light-medium coverage at most. To get more coverage, let it sit on your skin for a few minutes before blending (It does oxidize a tiny bit if you do this). I don't have dark under eyes (I've been told that I have "no eye bags at all") but when comparing one side of my face w/ the concealer and the other w/o, I saw very little difference, if any. This w/ TWO layers. When you add that second layer the look improves and it DOES look like skin and like I have no makeup on. From a distance. Up close, it still looks a bit dry. I have plenty of drugstore concealers that look better, more natural, + smoother. Also I HAVE to use a sponge to apply it. Using a brush, it looks grotesquely thick and it doesn't blend out well at ALL.I have concealers that are somewhat drying that I love, bc they don't crease and give me full coverage. I don't mind a light coverage concealer, but if that's the case I'd rather it be a bit more hydrating and skin like. I don't understand why it's so light and sheer, yet cakey. If you have normal or oily under eyes + very minimal dark circles you might like this, but I strongly dislike it. Less

Does anyone have recommendations for a good medium to full coverage concealer? I have normal/ combo skin and i would like to keep the price low but I’m ok with going up into the higher ranges if the product is absolutely amazing.
