Meh....the jury is still out.

This was my first time trying a color corrector for the dark circles under my eyes and i'm not sure I like it. I am a black woman, closer in skin color to the lighter skinned black woman in the videos so I ordered the dark peach. Since it worked on her, I figured it would work on me, too. I applied it to my under eye area and tried to blend it out a bit with a brush, just like in the video. It made my under eye area too red. I then applied my concealer (sorry but I swear by MAC 24-hour Smooth Wear concealer) and it appeared to turn that a red hue also. Of note, I also tried it with two of the UD concealers from the sample card I received with my order and those appeared to turn red, too. Perhaps it could be because neither of the colors were just right for my skin tone, but that's beside the point. At any rate, I felt like it made my eye area too clay looking. I don't know if I should have opted for the peach or if that is more for fairer skinned women. I may try it one more time before I throw in the towel on it. Any additional suggestions for how to apply and wear it are welcomed. Less

Love

combination skin tone: light eye color: green age: 25-34 5 out of 5 Love -04.21.16 Quick Take: full coverage, lightweight, non-drying, creamy, blendable I bought this in the green color to neutralize redness around my nose, chin, and forehead. It's super creamy and blendable; a little goes a long way, so if you apply too much you will really have to work to blend it out. It also dries quickly; if you plan to do a lot of color correcting it's best to apply and blend in sections, because it's much harder to blend-out if you wait even a moment too long. I can wear this with a little powder on top when I want to even-out my skin tone but not wear my full-coverage foundation. Excellent product and I'm looking forward to purchasing other colors!

Color Correcting God

My skin has always had a ton of red undertones thanks to my previously horribly acne prone skin. Though I no longer have a severe acne problem my cheek bone area tends to be very red. I have used Tarte's color correcting palette but I was very disappointed in the pigmentation, coverage, and overall the amount of product that it contained. So I continued my search and finally fell in love with this amazing product from Urban Decay. You cannot go wrong with this product. I love the easy application and the pigmentation! Easily build able and it will not flake or look cakey. Definitely long ware so if you have oily skin there's no need to worry. Just ensure you use a good face primer before hand and blend in your foundation with a damp beauty sponge. I personally use this in my everyday make up routine and the bottle lasts months! So don't let the size fool you. « less

Does as it says, color corrects (peach)

Some of the poor reviews on this product say it doesn't cover very well. Its correcting fluid not a concealer. So don't purchase this is you are looking for a concealer. It only corrects discoloration. Its thin, spreadable and long lasting. Is lays flat under your concealer and foundation. Its not heavy like other color correctors, which should be the consistency of a color corrector. Purchased the peach for dark circles and it does at says helps "lighten" the purple/ brown dark circles underneath and in the corner of my eye. I'm Mediterranean and have natural dark areas in those areas and this helps smooth out the color. Think a tube will last for a while since it takes just a small bit since it spreads so easily. Will definitely purchase again!!

I have used Urban Decays color correcting fluid in Peach color for 3 years now without fail. It’s pricey but lasts forever!! Smooth and doesn’t crease. If I’m my not feeling foundation, I’ll just put this below my eyes and it works seamlessly
