does not have fallout

you absolutely need eyeshadow primer before (the urban decay base is the best) and then is stays all day long and absolutely no fallouts

- Sephora User

this is my equal-first favourite brand for formula (i won't mention the other) - very fine, super-comfy feel and no fallout; but ud beats all competition in terms of how long it lasts

staying power

i bought it for the glitter and its amazing stays on all day and wow its awesome i cant wait for more colors

- Sephora User

not creasing

it also blends really nicely, doesn't crease and feels super smooth, not that gritty feeling you would think you would get with a product like this

- Sephora User

overall, this is a very good eyeshadow palette since it does have nice bright colors that i really like and if this is applied with eyeshadow primer it lasts a while and doesn't crease

- Ulta User

blends well

it blends so nicely into the neutral brown in the crease, which helps to make it a little more subtle, but still very fun

it's an almost creamy consistency that can feel a little gritty at times but a good primer potion, setting spray, and the right brush and anyone can look otherworldly without "overdoing it"

- Urbandecay User

the shadows have a smooth, creamy like consistency that makes for flawless application

- Urbandecay User

when used dry, it gives a sheer wash of color and a strong pop glimmer, and is the perfect shadow for someone who loves sparkle but hates huge chunks of glitter in shadows

- Sephora User

this lipstick is a sheer buildable tint, so hydrating, makes your lips feel amazing

True love for a shimmer fanatic!

I loved all of the Moondust shadows so much that when I saw this, I ordered this without even checking the colors, and wow. I had also ordered the Gwen Stefani, Alice, Vice IV, and XX palettes and found out how amazing this palette really is. All of the shades blend so well with colors from every palette I have (almost all of them) no matter what the finish; even mattes.Alone, the colors are intense and quite beautiful and can be used so many ways and with so many shades of shadow by UD. I'm a huge fan of chrome/shimmer/metallic shadows, and this palette is amazing.Oddly, if you use a good primer, there is little to no fall-out; I haven't used it without primer though, and just use a tinted primer instead of a base shade. It goes on as smoothly as any other UD shadow and has major staying power; in my experience, I haven't had problems with fading.Applied dry it's amazing, but when applied wet it is even more intense and lasts forever.I love that there are rich colors and sheer shimmer shades, as with a few of the sheer shimmers that are amongst my favorites in the Moondust collection. Any look can go mermaid or fairy, and an occasional dab on the lips with the right look can make one look spectacular, and a bit goes a long way.Even if you don't normally do glitz, I highly recommend this for your collection! Less

I have 3 diff shades (zodiac, space cowboy and solstice) and I will most def be purchasing more colors! PROS: -beautiful pigment -buildable shimmer, glitter is very fine and consistent size, and does not appear to stagnate in one area. -crease resistant -blends smoothly -wet and dry application give you different results -long lasting, especially with primer. CONS: - glitter tends to fall out a bit when applied the best way to apply this product is with your finger as I feel you can get the max pigment effect, as you build the color.

Holy Fallout!

I received a sample of Moonspoon, and I was so excited to try it. Growing up, I LOVED glitter, so I was hoping this would be a slightly more adult-friendly way of wearing sparkle. Despite my best efforts, I was covered in glitter just in the process of applying the shade, and to make matters more frustrating, I was disappointed at the lack of pigmentation to go with the sparkle. I used primer potion, as I always do, but the color of Moonspoon was sadly sheer; it didn't pack the punch that my regular UD shadows do. The glitter that actually made it onto my eyelids (as opposed to my cheekbones) didn't stay very long -- by lunchtime, all of the glitter had traveled to my cheekbones. The color had started to crease as well. From now on, I think I'll stick to the regular UD shadows with microglitter if I want sparkle. What a disappointment! « less

Zodiac: Glimmery, Gorgeous, Ultra-Sparkle!

I purchased this in the green/black shade Zodiac. It is one of the most beautiful eyeshadows I have ever seen, hands down. In the token it is ultra-glimmery, with a dark base and tons of green, blue, gold and black sparkle. When applied, it looks black with a wash of iridescent shimmer and glitter all over the eye. No matter what company makes a shadow, and no matter how advanced the formula, if it is packed with shimmer and glitter, there will be fallout. This is because pigment, the actual color of a shadow, is ultra finely milled, and spreads on the lid as smoothly as a foundation. But glitter, even the tiniest glitter, is not a powder. They are particles of sparkle, and as a result sit on top of the lid and will not blend in. So of course there will be fallout! To apply this gorgeous shadow successfully, think arts and crafts: The best way to keep most of the glitter on a page is to put some sort of "glue" layer down, and then a single layer of glitter. If you dump a pile of glitter on a bare page it's going everywhere. Same with the eyelid: nice sticky primer, wet/damp sponge tip brush, and TAP the product lightly onto the lid. If you brush it, it will fling. And if you put too much on, it will dust off. The damp sponge tip acts as a "glue" when it picks the product up from the pan and transfers it to your eye - otherwise a dry sponge tip will do the same as a dry piece of paper: not stick. These shadows are beyond amazing. When applied carefully and with time, they stay mostly on the lid and last for hours without migration. Zodiac is the most beautiful green shadow I've ever used and it's a keeper! « less

I love this palette. The colors are amazing and so shimmery. They are all deep pigmented and such vibrant shades. I highly recommend using a primer since that will help the shadow not fallout and last all day without having it on your cheeks by the end of the day. I prefer using an oval brush because more of the product will go on your eyes with less waste.Goes on smoothly and blends easily for bold dramatic looks. Does not feel heavy or leave a caked on feeling. Forms no creases.
