Eden Primer: Nothing too fancy !

I am a huge fan of urban decay products and I do love them. The Eden primer was kind of a bummer though. I have a sensitive-dry skin and I always use some eye cream/moisturizer around my eyes before applying anything. This primer kinda dries out on my skin shortly after I apply it , which makes it quite hard to apply and blend shadows afterwards. It is also super bright and makes my skin look so pale; my boyfriend always teases me saying I look like I have hit my face in a bowl of flour !!!!!It also doesn't stay put and becomes really flaky after a while. I wish I would have just stuck with the original UD primer (Primer Potion). Will never buy it again.

The best eyeshadow primer

This is the most amazing eyeshadow primer ever. There's a reason why it has such a hype. I've tested this product on my eyelids during many different situations: when my skin was dry, when my skin was oily, during cold and dry weather, and even in extremely hot and humid weather. During it all, my eyeshadow still looked amazing. There was no creasing or smearing. It looked the same from when I put it on to many hours later (8+ hours). There were even times when I forgot I was wearing eyeshadow and wiped my eyelids on accident, and the eyeshadow did not budge or transfer. Not only is it extremely long lasting, it also makes the eyeshadow colors more pigmented and easier to blend. I loooove it. This is now a MUST when I wear eyeshadow.

Eye brightener

I love the primer potion in shade Eden because it really brightens my eye area and makes me look awake. I have fair-medium skin with red undertones. I put it under my lower lash line also instead of concealer for a brightening effect. The primer really helps shadow stick and not crease all day. I have oily lids and it is hard for me to find a primer that doesn't wear off; this primer stays put! My only complaint is that it can get a little messy when you apply it and blend with your fingers. It dries quickly so you have to wash your hands after applying. I may try to swipe it on with the wand then blend with a concealer brush or something similar.

Tames oily lids in a fun way!

My style: natural, minimalWhy I bought this product: Before I used this primer, my mascara would smudge, even when wearing waterproof. The reason? Oily eyelids. A friend suggested that I get an eyelid primer, and a Sephora representative suggested this one in the color "sin". I was reluctant at first because I wanted something more nude, but when the Sephora rep tried it on me, it gave a fun, subtle shimmer! I don't wear eye shadow, so for me, this is great on its own. Now, my mascara stays put, and my eye lids have a fun "pop" to them.Price: $20 and worth it for me because I use very little at a time. In addition, the squeeze tube will preserve it for a very long time.Tip: squeeze a bit into a contact lens case to use and store. This way, you don't open and close the bottle too frequently, which leads to less chance of contamination. « less

My favorite primer!

I’ve been using this primer for the past 2 years and am absolutely in love with the formula. The doe-footed brush helps curve alone my eyelids to get an appropriate amount of product on my eyelids without layering it on and my looks always stay flawless all day. The small amount of tint allows for it to cancel out any discoloration or oiliness on my eyelids and I love it. My advice is to put this on, blend it out with your ring finger, and then wait for it to be tacky before applying eyeshadow because if the formula is still too wet the eyeshadow looks blocky and does not blend as well. However if the formula is too dry you won’t be able to get any on your lids.
