Keeps skin matte

I had a feeling I would love this setting powder because I already use the Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray. That's a staple product for me because I have oily skin, especially in warmer months!! I decided to really put this setting powder to the test. I applied my normal moisturizer, sunscreen, concealer and then applied this powder with a large powder brush. Sunscreen usually makes me look shiny within an hour. When I applied this powder the first thing I noticed was that it didn't look powdery or dry but it mattified my skin without looking dry. My skin looked smooth. I then decided to go for a jog to see if this powder could really keep my skin matte. The verdict, it did!!! My oily skin that gets extra shiny using sunscreen, stayed matte and looking great even after jogging!!! Urban Decay's All Nighter line is fantastic. If you want your makeup to last, try this powder. It was truly surprised I would like it this much because I have tons of other powders. This really held up and kept my skin looking great. This will be a summer staple for me. Less

Won’t go out without putting it on!

Wow. I’ve used a lot of makeup setting sprays, but this one makes a huge difference. I always spray this rather liberally all over my face (and neck and chest if I’m wearing glow oils) after doing my makeup, and I swear it adds HOURS of life to my makeup. I don’t even wear a primer other than moisturizer most days anymore because of this. I have dry skin, and I LOVE dewy makeup, which usually does not have a lot of staying power. This is such a game changer, and it keeps my face in place even in hot humid Charleston summers. Every time this is on sale I stock up so I can always have one on me. Highly recommend keeping in your bag for occasional reapplications during events like formals and weddings!

Perfect! Even for my dry skin.

I’ve been using this everyday for the the last 5 days since I received it. I’ve been using it as a setting powder all over the face. I absolutely have been loving it! I have very dry skin so it being matte and oil controlling worried me, but I had no issues! It left my skin smooth and products blended so beautifully on top of it. My makeup has stayed in place for hours, even through my face being shoved into my pillow.I would definitely recommend! The photos attached are how my skin looked after hours of wear and sweating from Cali heat.

Truly matte

First off, I loved the packaging! It has a shiny, silver surface with what looks like rain drops on it. Very cute. It is truly translucent. Upon first seeing it in the compact I felt that it might cause a funny tint on my ultra pale skin (I'm always the first or second lightest shade in any company's foundation). However, after applying it I was pleasantly surprised. It feels silky as well, and it didn't cake, or look artificial. I don't generally go for mattifying makeup because I already have dry skin, and I prefer a dewy look. However, if I imagine that matte IS my preferred look, then this is perfect! I love in Florida, so it's almost always hot and humid. Honestly I feel like being outside for 15 minutes on our average day is just as much of a test as a workout at the gym! I applied my powder at around 10 am, and went about my day running to the grocery store (wearing a mask!), Starbucks Drive thru, and playing with my toddler in the backyard. I kept checking and never once noticed any change in my makeup. I can't say I would purchase it because as I previously mentioned, I prefer a dewy look. But for my sisters with oilier skin this would be great! Less

it’s a no for me.

A friend highly recommended this and since she always looks amazing I hoped it would work for make up on my 42 year old combo skin (no wrinkles yet only a few fine lines) as well as it does on her mid-20s still perfect oily skin. It went on okay, I would have been happier with a more aerosol type spray rather than a mister, and while it did exceptional cemented makeup to my cheeks to a nearly uncomfy level the makeup on my forehead and chin still went walking around and settling weird on my face other than where it was placed. So it works WONDERFUL on dry patches of skin but not at all on t-zone / oil areas of your skin — even when primed, good foundation, powder set (“baked”) and so on. I love her but not this product.
