its crazy, the way the foundation has set, on the left side it feels smooth, dry and light and on the right side without the primer it feels tacky, i am in awe of this primer already

it was super light weight, unscented, and kept my foundation all day

pore minimizing

i feel like it does a good job of covering my pores as well

i have textured skin, so even though the main point of this primer is long wear time and makeup adhesion, i was primarily concerned about smoothing/blurring and pore filling

then apply this all nighter face primer and when u go to put your make up on the next day,it helps keep your make up looking smooth all day long, no oiliness break through during the day and keeps your face looking so smooth all day long

aside from keeping my makeup looking fresh all night, i also really enjoyed how well this urban decay primer helped by filling in my crows feet lines around my eyes and my most hated forehead lines from squinting all whilst leaving my face feeling silky soft without that gross oily feeling i usually get from other primers

it holds my foundation in place and makes my skin look smoother

Skincare meets primer

I’ve not really thought of Urban Decay as a skincare brand, nor are they one of my go-to brands except for a couple of their other items (I usually go for Clean seals)… but I’m totally impressed by this primer.I’m comparing it mostly to Tatcha’s Silk Canvas primer and Becca’s Backlight primer. The UD tube is great for a start… you’re not forced to get too much accidentally (unlike Becca), and I get the feeling it should be easy to get to the last drops (just about) near the end.The game-changer with this primer is that I can use it at any time of day. Some days, I like to do my skincare routine in the morning, then makeup later in the day, so that it looks good into the evening. That’s impossible with what had been my go-to primer (Tatcha’s Silk Canvas), which simply pills if you try applying it later than within maybe 20 minutes of your morning moisturizer. This primer is moisturizing too… I’ve been suffering recently from some slightly dry skin, and it’s helped not dry my skin out any further, so it’s looked better as a result.I’m not sure I can say there’s much of difference wearing it alone, but I’ve tried it with concealer only (Guerlain) and also foundation powder (Tarte Amazonian Clay) with lovely results. I’ve even slept with my makeup twice, and it looked surprisingly intact the morning after. The other product of UD’s I can’t do without is their All Nighter Waterproof Setting Powder… between that and this, I’m getting such the natural look I want, to where it’s almost impossible to tell I’m wearing makeup at all, it just looks like I have exceptionally nice skin :)I’ve also tried this product out almost daily for a couple of weeks now, and I’m happy to report no new breakouts or unusual skin reactions either! I have somewhat sensitive older skin (I’m 42).So, I’ll be adding this to my products that I buy regularly if they run out. Less

HOLY GRAIL LEVEL, MUST TRY

As a total makeup junkie, I have tried dozens and dozens of high end and drugstore primers and I think I’ve finally found one I’m going to repurchase. I haven’t tried it out for as long as I normally would before writing a review (obviously, it’s brand new) but when I saw there were mixed reviews, I really wanted to get it out there how much I love this primer. I have had two crying fits today (just sharing this for the purpose of the review, sorry if TMI) and my DEWY foundation and concealer stayed in place better than I’ve ever seen before. This isn’t even a makeup look I would expect to last through a normal day let alone wiping tears off of my face. Not only did my makeup stay in place unnaturally well, it makes my skin look amazing. As soon as I used it for the first time my mom was all “why does your skin look so good, what are you using”. It really gives such a smoothing effect to the skin, just beautiful. UD nailed it, and I feel like I haven’t said that in awhile for this brand but they really did. For reference I have slightly dry skin with some mild acne, I see some oily gals didn’t have the best luck with it, that’s a real shame because it works beautifully for me. Less

Urban Decay has done it again!

I love this product! As a fan of urban decay and a long time user (over 10 years) of their eye primer potion and their all nighter setting spray (or however long it's been out), I was super stoked to try this face primer in their all nighter line. I have eczema so my skin is super dry and sensitive and this product helps to keep my skin looking dewy and fresh. As a healthcare provider my work days can range from anywhere from 12-15 hours and this primer has not aggravated my skin or clogged my pores. The primer itself is a lightweight, silky texture that I feel does help to plump and smooth out my skin. This primer helps my makeup stay looking fresh throughout my 14 hour days and when the make up does wear off (exp. super runny nose), it helps it look natural and not super noticeable. I did receive this product free to review, however I can honestly tell you I will be purchasing/repurchasing this product when my current one runs out. Oh also, I wanted to add that this review was made after I wore the product for at least a week If not more and paired it with mostly lightweight and medium/to medium full coverage foundations. I have also paired this primer with the all nighter setting spray and the L'Oréal lumi setting spray with the same wear time results, which was actually over the marketed 8 hours of wear on Urban decays website. Also, I always wash and hydrate my skin first and then put this primer on which I feel helps to lock in the hydration at least for my skin. Looking at the ingredients and the website I'm not able to ascertain if the primer is silicone based but it definitely feels like it in texture and performance. Definitely a win product for me. Less

Once again super impressed with urban decay!

I am a health conscious person who still loves happens to be addicted with makeup. Call it a weakness or a hobby but the only consolations I try to make when selecting the brands I work with, is that the ingredients be at least or Paraben free and the line be cruelty free. This criteria has always kept urban decay in my line of favorite brands to work with.I have their all nighter setting spray - both kinds - in addition to a variety of skin and eye products. Anything for face though I try to be even more selective since my skin is incredibly dry in some places while very oil in the t zone. I also happen to be very sensitive to a lot of products which leaves me out of luck with any eye concealers or face primers when applied ANYWHERE in the vicinity of the eyes. Their face products so far Have been amazing on my skin so far so I opted for this new primer when it became available.Let me tell you, I was not disappointed in the least bit! The primer is very lightweight and glides on extremely smoothly on the face - dry or oil complexions. The t zone (oily part of my skin) does not get greasy at all and in fact seems to even smooth it out. The dry parts? Well they absolutely crave this formula! It’s extremely hydrating, while not being overly cake-y or greasy. The overall application does an amazing job of soothing the skin’s red areas and smoothening the surface for a very natural and beautiful application of foundation. To be honest, I have not used this without applying foundation afterwards, only because foundation has been a staple product in my life for over a decade. I hate any amount of shine on my face but for anyone who doesn’t mind or has an overall dry skin, you’ll find that this does do a great job of priming the skin to be naked all day. For me though, this formula has definitely become my go to from now on. Even, smooth, hydrating, lightweight application that compliments the complexion and does actually do a great job of extending your foundation wear (including through sweat). What more could I ask for ? Less

A No For Me..

I wanted to love Urban Decay All Nighter Face Primer because I absolutely love the Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray . Unfortunately, this primer did not do well for me. I tried three days and each day my face was oily just a couple hours in, which is not typical, even though I'm naturally oily. I used the primer with all makeup products that I normally use but maybe it just doesn't work well with my makeup products; Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation and Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Setting Powder. I like the packaging with the pump, but that's probably the only positive for me. The primer is a little on the thicker side but has a slip to it. Feels more like a moisturizer. It spreads on my face easily and has a tacky/sticky finish to it. It seemed to take a bit more effort to blend my foundation on top of the primer and it seemed to sink into my pores, making them much more prominent. I need a pore-filling or blurring primer as my pores are naturally large and easily seen. This may work for someone with normal to dry skin and with little facial imperfections. Overall, as much as I hate to say, this primer is a no-go for me. Less

Currently searching for products to use on my birthday and I need advice on primers, longwearing foundations, concealers and powders with no flashback. So far I’m interested in trying Charlotte Tilbury’s most recent foundation and the pressed powder. Any luxury recommendations that are worth the splurge and hold up on combo/oily skin? I struggle with a lot of shine mainly between my brows and around my nose :)
