Obsessed With This Blush!

I purchased Video and Bang right when these came out, I knew I loved the color Bang since it's not a new color. I have it in their cream blush, but couldn't quite get the texture of the cream to work for me. These new powder blushes are out of this world. The pigmentation you know and love from Urban Decay products, and the staying power you didn't think was possible in a blush.Bang is an amazing color, you can apply it lightly for a flush of color or go bold and rock that look for hours.Video took me by surprise, I bought it to try and it quickly became my favorite. It's a soft nude that gives your face shape without a lot of impact color which I LOVE when I do a bold lip. I will be purchasing Video again, without a doubt. Bang will last a lot longer because I need so little for the perfect flush of color on my fair skin.I just bought Bittersweet last night and will be playing with that today, such a gorgeous color! The formula lasts, it's blendable and the colors are amazing. Less

This review is for my medium to tan to deep skin tones.I purchased the Urban Decay The Velvetizer Translucent Mix-in Medium because I am the type of girl who likes to buy different products from different brands and try them. I use the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation in Valencia and Syracuse (mix as needed) and it wasn’t as MATTE as I would like. It was starting to become more summery out and I wasn’t interested in dewy foundations when I sweat up a storm in Florida. Let me start by saying, I use products with absolutely no SPF because I found out it breaks me out like no tomorrow. I have no flash back what-so-ever using any of my makeup products. With that being said, I mixed a DIME (placed near it for measuring purposes) and mixed in with my foundation. Now, I know that this product lists to be mixed with Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup but how can a brand specially formulate a product to only work with their products (if that makes sense) so I went ahead and gave it a shot. I HAD THE WORST MAKEUP DAY OF MY LIFE! I used it out on a date with my boyfriend and he thought I didn’t feel good all night by how much it lightened my face. I took absolutely no pictures that night, which was a bummer because it was beautiful out. It started to break apart within 2 hours of wear INDOORS, and it made my foundation patchy so you had to apply more to ‘even it out.’ It also settled into every fine line I didn’t even know I had (being only 19, I don’t have much believe me.) My boyfriend even said to me to get my money back because I did not look as good as I would not using it. With that being said, I returned to my local Sephora that next day after work and got my money back. I have attached a photo of it blended on the back of my hand - WITH FLASH ON. « less user

Absolutely Amazing

I have these in Bittersweet and Rapture, and I love them so much that I plan to get more. I love the range of basic and unique colors these blushes come in. They have intense pigmentation, and a silky, super-blendable texture. They are really long-lasting as well, even on my oily skin (though I still prefer to wear them over primer and foundation or BB cream). I love the gunmetal packaging, with the fishnet design on top that lets the blush color peek through. It does not come with a mirror or brush.Bittersweet is an excellent purple blush, with just enough pink that it doesn't drain all the color out of my face, but still reads purple. I'm very fair skinned, and as long as I use a light touch, it looks great.Rapture is an absolutely stunning, unique plummy pink with a fine gold shimmer. I can't describe it, but the picture here doesn't do it justice. It has to be seen in person. I'll just say that the name fits. It's very flattering on. « less

Great Finish, Decently Long Wear, AMAZING Shades

It is too early for me to call this a "holy grail" item BUT I feel like I am leaning that way. The coverage is exellent - not sheer, not that heavy full coverage (like an Estee Lauder Double Wear or UD All Nighter holds-up-thru-everything coverage) but very good full work day wear. I have very, very light skin - I use shade .5 in this foundation and, to my surprise, it is an excellent match...seamless. The foundation is water-like in texture. That scared me at first but my fear was totally unfounded because it's very easy to work with and it's highly pigmented. It covers my pinkish skin (from using prescription Tretoinin) and the finish is incredibly natural. It rides over the fine lines and pores that I struggle with. I have tried it with three primers so far - Hourglass Mineral Veil, NYX Angel Veil, Smashbox Photo Finish Light. It worked wonderfully with the Hourglass and very well with the Smashbox but the NYX caused a bit of a patchy application and I am 100% sure that is the primer, not the foundation. I have set this with powder (in my T-zone) and used setting spray and, today, no setting product at all. All three of those applications looked great. I prefer the way it looks today - it just feels like nothing. I have oily skin that needs hydration...yeah, a total pain. I use a serum from Vichy, Clinique Dramatically Different Gel, Jack Black Sun Guard SPF 45 Sunscreen (and that stuff is great!) followed by my primer of choice. This is the first foundation I've used that doesn't look odd over sunscreen - I have worn it with the Jack Black, Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Liquid, La-Roche Posay Anthelios Dry Touch Clear Skin and Olay Sensitive SPF 15 - NONE of them caused this foundation to look funky and that has consistently been a problem with all the high end foundations I have used (Estee Lauder Double Wear, EL Double Wear Light, Bobbi Brown Skin Long Wear, Too Faced Born This Way, Too Faced Comfort Matte, Fenty Beauty, Cover FX Power Play, Kat Von D and probably some that I'm forgetting). This stuff is great. Transfer is very minimal once it dries which is pretty quick. I really cannot find anything to complain about with this product. It seems to be everything I have been searching for. It doesn't make me look oily, it doesn't look dry, it just looks like really good skin. Provided I do not have any breakout issues after that dreaded two week mark, this will be my go to foundation. I am so hoping that's the case. I would recommend this to ANYONE with any skin type. I think it will work for anyone as long as that person uses the correct base for their skin type. BUY THIS - IT'S GOOOOOOOD! « less user

The Single Greatest Blush Ever Made

No lie, this product (in the shade Rapture) is my new "ride-or-die"!! I wanted it more than I remember wanting any other makeup product the second I'd swatched it in the store... it had to come home with me... I can't rave about it enough, from it's easy blendability to it's perfect color (not too sheer, no excess of pigment), it's packaging (beautiful, unique, AND durable) to it's silky texture. Whatever brush I pick to apply it seems to make no difference, even. I just don't see myself ever loving another blush more, so pleeeease, UD, keep making it!!

I have about $30 worth of points to redeem at Ulta and would like to try some new things, so if anyone has any makeup or skincare recommendations I’d love to hear them.
