Love this product

This is one of my go-to products! I love how it totally brightens my eyes and looks very natural. I have demure, sand, and bare and demure is my favorite. Sand is very light, and tends to look a little more bright, whereas the others are much more natural. My favorite aspect of this product is that it is fabulous for oily eyelids. Without this product, by the end of the day, my eyes sting a little as my eyelids are a bit oily (but I have pretty mild combination skin). But, with this stuff, I can go 16 hours without a problem! It also is wonderful for making your eyeshadow stay put. I wear it all the time!

Great for no eye make up look

I've tried of few eye primers now and I like this one. It does what it says it will do and keeps shadow on all day. But what I like best is that it is very natural looking by itself. You can apply it to lighten your lids and it does not look like you are wearing make up. Great if you like the "no-make up" look. Other primers I have tried either have no coverage or they are too bright and look a little funny without shadow. It also prevents my lids from becoming oily which helps my mascara stay on longer.

Very Disappointed

When I purchase eye make-up primer, I have several challenges: I have naturally brown coloring on my lids that discontinues about half an inch from my eyebrows, so I need full coverage. I have oily lids, so it has to have staying power and I have a severe fragrance allergy, ruling out a lot of products. This primer is superior to everything I have tried in coverage, it is fragrance free, does not irritate and I love the color! You have to work quickly or it has set and no more blending, which is ok.But, it was partially dried up when I received it, so at this price I will not buy it again. Disappointing.

Makeup wardrobe staple

I've been using Trish McEvoy's Eye Base for probably close to 10 years. Its opaque, matte color corrects any discoloration giving me a more youthful look and keeps eyeshadow from settling into creases. It also keeps my somewhat oily eyelids dry so my makeup stays put. My go-to color is Bare, probably the most wearable/neutral color for most faces. I've tried Sand but find it too light, as well as Tan, which is a little too deep for me. I most recently tried Demure because I had never seen it before. It is different from the other color and I think it maybe should have it own category. Its sheer as well as having some sparkle, so its more like a aheer eyeshadow color than base.

Naturally Beautiful Look

Since this is a new product for the Trish McEvoy line I was a little leery of purchasing three of these wands but after reading the reviews and doing my research I felt perfectly comfortable. These wands are a fast easy solution to a very beautiful but natural look. I purchased"Natural" which works both as a perfect base for eye shadows allowing them to stay on longer or just to provide a smoothness to cover any imperfections to the eye lid area. The second is the color"Linen" which adds a light beige appearance to the lid and lower eye area or to be used in the crease of the eye for definition. This to me is beautiful so I am now after a darker shade to achieve slightly more definition. Last is the "Instant Eye Lift", an incredible light weight concealer, brightener with smoothing properties to help fill in the fine lines for a look of sheer perfection. « less
