Yay! Won't move, no drag, and two ways to use it!

I absolutely LOVE this eyeshadow/liner stick. Every time I run out, I buy it all over again. This one really stays put if used with a touch of powder at the eyelid crease first and then a quick moment to minimize eye blinks. I wear it more as a blend-able liner than a shadow but you can get a very good smokey-eye look with this stick if that's what you want. (My application is a bit of both.) It glides on effortlessly (hate any type of drag, especially as I age) so that's a big plus. It never dries out and one stick lasts me about three months. I like the Crystal Grey color which goes with almost any color palette and it has a lovely hint of shimmer. Very subtle. I also have super sensitive skin for some pigment eye makeup colors; glitter, too, I but have no problem with this one at all. My eyes are comfortable and well made up all day. Yay! Less

Love this shadow!!

I have to agree with one of the other reviews. This is the easiest way to make a smokey eye. I don't need complicated and this product fits the bill. I have had a hard time with cream shadows even when it says long-wearing, they crease and fade. I have to wear a primer under it. Very oily eyelids. But with other cream shadows applying them over a shadow base make them dry, heavy, and very difficult to blend and apply. Not with this product. Even with a primer these are the easiest to apply even with just my fingers. And they stay on all day long. I love having versatile easy to use products. Trish McEvoy makes makeup that is beautiful and EASY! Love this product.

Cream and Rose Quartz =terrible!

I LOVE this product in Crystal Gray, Topaz and Smokey Quartz! I use them daily. However-the latest Cream and Rose Quartz are terrible. The Cream looks and feels dry, and chalky. The Rose Quartz, is far from Rose Quartz. It's a yellowy tan. I'm getting frustrated with Trish McEvoys discontinuing lip products, and coming out with very expensive products, that are not the quality they used to be. The planners with one or two new products, mixed with the same old ones, just to sell a planner at $150.00+ is a scam.

smooth and very long-lasting

I am always on the lookout for a long-lasting eyeshadow and this one proves to be one of the best. The texture is smooth and creamy which allows the product to go on and blend evenly. It is never dry or blotchy looking. The lasting power is very good, I've found it to stay on during a super humid sweat-inducing day and through a few laps in the pool. I have the Cream shade, which is a basic cream color with a light shimmer and Topaz, which is a bronze shimmer with a hint of gold. I hope Trish never stops making these!

No Competition for this Beautiful Eye Shadow

I am 50+ and was looking for an eye shadow base, non creasing (very oily lids). I wanted only to have to use one product. Powder eye shadow does not seem to stay and seems to make me look powdery and accenutate lines on lids. I had been using bobbi brown long wear cream in bone. It creases (but covers well) doesn't stay smooth and needs blended which casues streaking.Thought I would give this a chance in "Cream". Very, very happy I did! Goes on smoothly, does not look heavy at all. There is the softest shimmer in it which I thought made my lids look beautiful, not the dry cakey look I have had. I then apply a darker accent shade (trish's soft grey on lid to just above crease) in powder and it blends so beautifully. I could not believe I got such great results! I haven't yet tried it as a liner, but it certainly exceeded my expectations for an eye shadow highlighter/base. Using it as an eye base I wonder how long it will last. I am wondering how economical it will be. Oh well, it makes me feel beautiful and my eyes are my assets so I'll keep buying it! Why not? « less
