Does anyone have any recs for a night cream. I have dry, acne prone skin and a lot of night creams are too thick for me. I am currently using the gel cream from Trader Joe’s but it’s not hydrating enough??

exfoliating scrubs and the biore pore strips! I use these with my regular facial cleanser and it helps too, i try not to be too rough tho!

@Ruby Corona physical exfoliation actually irritates acne and can exacerbate it. Chemical exfoliation on the other hand (like AHA and BHA— glycolic acid/lactic acid and salicylic acid, respectively) can help immensely with minimizing breakouts of whiteheads and blackheads. AHAs can help “unstick” dead skin to prevent pores from clogging while BHA helps actually clear the pores out. Scrubby pads like these are extremely abrasive and also unhygienic for those who get inflamed acne, and can actually worsen breakouts by spreading bacteria from one part of the skin to another.

Im in my early 20’s and I’ve heard that it’s okay to use anti aging products. What’s a good product to use? I have wrinkles on my forehead and under my eyes.

Make sure you’re moisturizing and hydrating your skin, that’s most important in preventing wrinkles and tired skin. Vitamin c serums to help the skin plump, retain moisture and have a youthful appearance

I currently use a physical exfoliator which I love! It's been working for me well (I don't scrub it hard all over my face, just the places that need it). But I've read that chemical exfoliators are better for your skin and I've been wanting to try it; any reccommendations?? I have oily acne prone skin! TIA

I highly recommend the ordinary aha bha peel! It’s super good and relatively gentle. Don’t use that exfoliator because those kinds of scrubs can cause micro tears in the skin and it’s super bad for your skin. If you want to use a physical exfoliator go for it, just make sure it’s good for the skin!

Back before the word "influencer" was a thing, i used to love watching Promise Phan's transformation videos. Nowadays every video has so much product placement and endorsements that I feel like they should be called "advertorials" more than tutorials. I completely swore off beauty blogger vids once people started doing the stupidest viral challenges--100 layers of nail polish/foundation/etc?! Total clickbait

I totallg agree! The challenges don’t interest me and i find them annoying. Also, totally unpopular opinion but I don’t care about their bf’s, dad’s, kids, bff, or personal trainer so can they not be in my beauty videos? Horrible to say but that’s just how I feel

Your going to think I’m crazy, but I have always had dry peeling lips and nothing has ever worked for me, and I’ve tried it all. I saw something called lanolips, which is a lanolin based lip product but it is way over priced. I had some left over lansinoh nipple balm from nursing my son. Let me tell you, my lips heal over night! And it’s much cheaper than the expensive brand! They are both pretty much the same, I figured if it’s safe to put on my nipples and my son to nurse after I apply it’s safe for my lips.
