this gives you the perfect canvas to put on eyeshadow that will actually last all day and night without budging

this product stops that in its tracks and my eye makeup lasts all day and into the night until i choose to take it off

point a hair dryer on low, and cool, a foot away from your face, towards your closed eyes to blast away any non adhered glitter

a lot of other primers i have used are cakey and hard to blend but this is silky soft and dries quickly for immediate eyeshadow application

Love it! Will purchase again and again.

I have a natural look, but love sparkle and shimmery shadows. I recently purchased the Too Faced Glamour Dust and this glitter glue works amazing with it! I have played around and prefer a very, very light coat of the glamour dust and only need a dot of the glitter glue patted over my eye lids. Upon application I dab the glitter glue on with my ring finger. For a more intense effect I have used more. Regardless of the amount of glitter glue IT WORKS and lasts ALL DAY and NIGHT and makes the glamour dust look beautiful and vibrant!!! I hope they never take this away b/c it's amazing.

Great Primer

I put this product on my eyelids before I apply the Too Faced Natural Eye palette eyeshadows, and it stays on FOREVER. I like the candlelight shadow insurance because I love a little bit of shimmer in my makeup. No complaints! A lot of other primers I have used are cakey and hard to blend but this is silky soft and dries quickly for immediate eyeshadow application! You could probably just use the primer as its own eyeshadow due to the little bit of glitter in it for a natural, barely there makeup.

Love this!

This is such a great product. I was debating between this and the Urban Decay eye shadow primer in Sin, and I bought Sin only to be disappointed- I found it to be much too opaque for a primer. So, I exchanged it for this and I am so much happier. The product is so easy to apply and you only need the smallest amount to cover the entire eye, so this will last a long time. The color is gorgeous. I wear it alone and as a primer. Alone it gives a great low-key shimmer that somehow looks natural and just really pretty. I can wear it under satins, shimmers, and even mattes and it never takes away from the shadows I have on, but rather simply enhances them in the most beautiful and subtle way. It lasts all day when worn alone, and increases the wear of shadow by at least somewhere between 3-5 hours. I would definitely recommending trying this out. « less

Best stuff ever!

Unusual application for this already wonderful product. After many rounds of chemotherapy, my already fair eyebrows grew back completely white. I tried many different eyebrow products but they still looked painted on. I was already using this product to keep eyeshadow looking great all day,and finally had an ah-hah moment. I put a bit on each eyebrow, dust with some chestnut eyeshadow, the finish lightly with a very dry waterproof mascara to coat the brow. Wow. Stays all day even in the heat and never smears. I have natural looking brows that don't look painted on.

Will Not Purchase Again

I had a sample once of the Shadow Insurance in Candlelight, it wasn't very good, made my shadows crease after a few hours, and it changed the color of my shadows. I had high hopes for this one hoping that since it had more color in it, it would last more. I was disappointed yet again. It doesn't last, after about 3 hours my eye shadow disappears. It doesn't crease but at least if it creased, I could smudge the shadow and spread it again. It also changes the color of my shadows but only after a few hours of wear; purples look grey, blues look great, golds look brown, but browns look brown which I guess is OK. This also tends to seperate, so sometimes i get a really watery consistency and other times i get a thicker cream, i have to shake vigourously for like 2 mins for it to mix again. I usually have to use another primer with this just to make it last 5-6 hours, but that defeates the purpose of what a primer is for so I'm just wasting another primer trying to make this work for me; I've tried everything I could think of to make it last. The color of the product itself is nice which is why I gave it 2 stars, but when I finish this, I'm going back to UD Primer Potion. « less
