A Primer that actually works

I do not have texture, do not have acne scars or active acne. I do have large cheek pores and dry skin. I use an array of good moisturizers, but my dry skin acts up with most " pore minimizing" primers. This product immediately disguises my pores. I put on moisturizer then wait to let absorb. I pat the primer but also do gentle swipes in all directions to ensure the pores are covered from different angles. The true test is when I apply foundation and concealer... My skin does not look or feel crusty cakey, my pores look covered. The pores looked covered primer alone and then with foundation and a non-cakey powder, it is like magic. I have tried many primers, I make online purchases 1-3 times per week. This stuff covers pores, foundation does not look crusty, not oily either, and the skin looks natural and flattering close up. Pore blurring for mature skin

This works only as well as your skin care regimine. When I keep up with exfoliating and moisturizing I am extremely pleased with the finish this gives me. If I get lazy and think I can just slap this on instead the results are nowhere near as good. This silicone based primer doesn't overdo the oil absorption so my face doesn't get tight and it doesn't sting or cause rashes. It really does make pores less visible and on some post-mask or treatment days they appear to disappear even more. I've tried spot applying it and applying as a last makeup step but it works best if smoothed over the entire face before foundation is applied. It works equally well with powder, liquid, cream and long wearing foundations. I purchased it based on the promise of its name and because silicone can blur. Now that I know it has skin helping ingredients I'll stop looking for a primer for mature skin. I already own one.

I loved this product... at first . It made my skin feel smooth, but that was the only thing good about it. If you have combination-oily skin, i strongly suggest you not use this product. It made my T-zone feel shinier than it already is, and i could tell it clogged my pores. I started breaking OUT!!!I thought my skin was just breaking out because I am very acne -prone, which I am. But, before i started using this product, i had one or two kind of major-minor pimples. I take very good care of my skin and Freak out when i have a blemish because it hardly ever happens, even though i am acne prone. Then, I went back to using it,and i got FOUR NEW PIMPLES!!I agree with the critic who said the same thing as idid, and honestly, if i read that review before i bought that product 4 months ago.... i could of bought a different, non-oily product!! If you have dry or sensitive skin.... this product may please you very much, but if you have combination-oily or oily skin.....THEN DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!

This is a gift from the Heavens!!

This is AMAZING, okay, so, when I say I have oily skin, I mean, if you touch anywhere in my T-zone, your finger is covered in oil XD I'm that one girl who's face always looks like a grease pan, and no matter what new "Innovative" acne treatment I use.... my face still looks like a Mc. Donalds griddle by noon.... Now, i've tried your Hangover Rx, and Benefit Porefessional, butttt, idk how this happened, but within a hour, all the makeup on my nose was gone, idk where it went.... maybe another dimension?? The point is, i've tried all the highly rated oil stopping, mattifying primers, Nothing, until, this, my face stayed matte all day, wtf, this literally kept my face matte, and when I removed my makeup, it wasn't a greasy mess, so it didn't just prevent oil showing though my makeup, it literally kept my whole face dry, HALLELUJAH!! Magic Potion - Instant Make-over

The Too Faced Primed and Poreless Primer, which I keep calling the "Satin primer" by mistake, is a magic potion. I'm 39 and I have sensitive, tricky skin with large pores and some of my pores are troublesome, with dark pigment, and it's been an area that has made me feel self-conscious since I was a teen-ager. But the TF Primed & Poreless Primer transforms my tricky skin into a lovely, smooth seemingly "flawless" complexion. The real test for me is winter, when my skin is at its worst, and this primer makes my skin feel like satin. I love it! I only use a little tiny dab on my finger, which I dot on my T-zone, and just under my eyes over the apples of my cheeks and then blend. A little goes a long way with this product, which is nice. I don't have to wear a "mask" of it to get the desired effect. Then I use the BTW foundation in vanilla and as long as I don't put too much foundation on (just a few dots on my face, no more than 6 dots to blend), I get a flawless finish. If I put more than 6 dots on my face of the BTW foundation, I get dry patchy places that I have to re-moisturize before I can continue. I find that the Primed and Poreless primer on its own is also wonderful and I can skip the foundation and just apply a little of the TF Poreless translucent powder (or a different pressed powder) and then the Too Faced Sweethearts Blush in candy glow and add my Too Faced Milk Chocolate bronzer and Candlelight Glow highlighter in Rosy Glow - (without the foundation) and that works beautifully, too! « less

I need a recommendation on primer. I have large pores around my nose on my cheeks and nothing I have tried works. I have used Elf Blur stick, No More Poreblems (I think that’s what it’s called), Flower Beauty Hydrating Primer among others. I need something to fill in my pores, that’s hydrating and will also make my foundation last all day. I’m going crazy wasting money on primers that don’t work. I appreciate your recommendations in advance.

I have pretty huge pores on my cheek nose area too and this seems to work the best for me thus far. I’ve also made rounds around Sephora and Ulta and tried almost everything that claims to smooth/fill pores. Try it & hope it works for you! Also, do press it in not rub.

I have very textured skin and very open pores, any primers you can recommend. I wear full coverage foundation if that helps 👍
