Burns sensitive skin and eyes

Unfortunately this product causes my skin to turn bright red with a burning, stinging sensation. It's also highly irritating to the eyes, leaving them red, sore and streaming (I did shut my eyes and hold the spray about 10 inches from my face prior to spraying it and just did 2 or 3 sprays. Result is the same whether just over moisturiser or full makeup). It's a shame because the product has a smoothing, mattifying effect that looked quite nice...apart from the turning me into a tomato part. It smells lovely, but fragrance is bad for your skin even if you're not sensitive to it, so I wish it was fragrance free. I have sensitive skin, but usually only to essential oils, so since there aren't any listed in this product and the ingredients seem to be generally okay, I thought I would be alright. Sadly I was very wrong. Something in it sets my skin aflame. This has proven to be a painful experience that will take my skin and my wallet a while to recover from. Having now tried several products from the range and the results being terrible (usually in performance rather than skin reaction) the brand clearly isn't compatible with my skin (sensitive, dry, fair and textured). I'm sick of wasting my money on items that are by no means cheap and really should deliver what they claim to, so I am officially giving up on the brand. I really wanted to love it, so I am beyond disappointed. Less

Great in the winter, even with oily skin!

I love the primer so I figured I’d try the setting spray - I have combination skin and definitely suffer from oil and acne. I fell in love with the primer so I figured I’d try this. This isn’t your average setting spray. It definitely gives you a dewy finish, but I loved the look of my skin, especially in the winter. I found this setting spray to be really hydrating when my skin was drying out from the cold wind. Not sure how it will hold up in the humidity, but for right now, I’m loving it. It smells like coconuts, but less so than the primer in my opinion (I’m not sensitive to scents). I love the smell of the primer so I’m happy with the scent. You do receive a lot of product for the price, so that’s really great and I love the packaging. I found the spray nozzle on this bottle was fantastic - it gives you a generous light mist of product such that you only need two or three sprays for your whole face. I prefer the spray nozzle of this bottle compared to my All Nighter nozzle - the All Nighter doesn’t have as wide of a coverage so I need to use more pumps and I find the All Nighter doesn’t deliver as much product per pump as this Hangover setting spray. I haven’t tried this as a primer, I use the liquid pump Hangover primer, but so far, loving this! I adore the colour of this too, very cute. Less

Combo/oily ladies, give this a shot despite the reviews telling you not to! I have combo/oily skin with a crazy shiny t-zone and chin, but relatively normal and sometimes dry cheeks. I've been using Becca Mattifying Primer for over a year, but recently noticed it wasn't keeping me shine-free, and my makeup was separating in my oily areas. I tried applying the primer and my foundations (Tarte Amazonian Clay and Too Faced Born This Way) different ways, but nothing made a difference. Many of the reviews here scared me away from trying this product, but I am a firm believer in using one brand's products together because they are designed with each other in mind. I also remember learning that oily skin needs to stay moisturized so that it doesn't over produce oil. So i tried this. I am in LOVE. This primer has a nice tacky feel and my makeup goes, and stays, super smooth when applied with a beauty blender. I set my foundation with a powder and UD DeSlick spray and I'm good to go for the day! I haven't used this as a refresher or setting spray because I'm not trying to spend this much that often, but i will definitely buy again when i finish it!

AMAZING

Oh my gosh this is amazing! I have been using the Urban Decay long lasting setting spray and I've loved it however, I have very dry skin and so anything even somewhat matte makes me look like I have a cake face. Let me just start by saying that this product smells sooooo sooooo sooooo good. It is also VERY hydrating so if you have oily or somewhat oily skin DO NOT purchase this product. My skin has not felt and looked this hydrated in years. I personally love the "dewy" look because I think it makes skin look so natural with makeup however I could not achieve that until I purchased the Born This Way foundation and this setting spray. Beyond happy!

I’ve been having an issue finding a full coverage foundation and setting powder combo that doesn’t feel as though all the moisture is being sucked out of my skin. I cleanse and moisturize, prime with green color correcting primer , and use a sponge for foundation. I like full coverage because of the rosacea, and I like a matte finish but after applying powder, I crease, and crack, and overall feel super dry. I’m over 40, have fine lines to boot. Any suggestions?

Using a hydrating setting spray on top of your makeup might help! I use this before and after makeup and it helps tremendously with dryness.

Urban Decay all nighter spray. I’m not sure if my setting spray went bad or that it’s not reacting well with my makeup. However, I’m using a dewy foundation look and I cannot set it with powder because that mattifies my makeup. And since I don’t do this it’s tacky and my makeup rubs off.😡 What is a better setting spray? Or please advise me on doing something different with my technique.

I love love love the fenty hydrating foundation. I have naturally dry/combo skin. How would y’all recommend I set it if I want a luminous finish? What setting powders / sprays have y’all tried that works well with this foundation?
