For hyperpigmentation I recommend this product it fades scars and works wonders just make sure you follow after with a spf since your skin will be sensitive to the sun after use

Yes!! It adds extra moisture if you use the cucumber or lavender ones. If you have oily skin try the rose one!

Okay I have tried so many foundation lately, and like nothing. 😭 I tried Estée Lauder double wear since EVERYONE swears by.. it broke me out terribly (yes it was the foundation I switched nothing else and waited for my skin to clear before trying it again). Other foundations I’ve tried below...suggestions please prefer a matte finish. -Dior forever -Clinique Stay matte - Too Faced Born this way -Urban Decay all nighter

If you haven’t tried this yet it’s pretty good, it has really good coverage and what I consider to be a more matte finish, and it works well with most skin types.

Currently searching for products to use on my birthday and I need advice on primers, longwearing foundations, concealers and powders with no flashback. So far I’m interested in trying Charlotte Tilbury’s most recent foundation and the pressed powder. Any luxury recommendations that are worth the splurge and hold up on combo/oily skin? I struggle with a lot of shine mainly between my brows and around my nose :)

I always end up doing a bronzy-gold look for some reason, I think it’s just very flattering on my brown eyes. Sometimes I adventure out into a mauve/pink look, and I think it looks good as well. My favorite palettes are the BH Cosmetics Zodiac Love Signs palette (mostly used for the glitter lid but there are matte transition shades in it), the Tarte Tarteist Pro and Pro Remix palettes, and the Colourpop Disney Princess/Villains palettes. Colourpop also just came out with California Love palette that I’m dying to buy. Colourpop shadows are amazing for the price, there is a tiny bit of fallout with some but I’ve found I can do my eyes before my face if I’m doing a super glam look. You can also use Afterpay with Colourpop and Tarte, so if you’re not able to spend $70 up front you just basically make 4 payments that come out of your bank account every two weeks with the first payment due at the time of purchase. If you want a brighter look, Jeffree Star is the way to go. I have the BloodSugar palette and I’m obsessed. (You can also use Afterpay at his online site 🙂)

I have pretty dry skin, and i’m looking for a hydrating mist to spray on before i put on my hyaluronic acid serum. I’ve heard the Mario Badescu facial sprays are really good, but i’m not sure if i should go with the rosewater one or the cucumber and green tea one. Has anyone tried them and like one over the other?

I’ve heard that Mario Badescu sprays cause you to break out. I suggest the Neutrogena City Shield Spray.

I have dry, acne prone skin and I have been trying everything to get rid of my acne for the past year! nothing works (curology, neutrogena light mask, acne washes, tea tree oil, mario badescu- you name it!) does anyone have any recommendations for a natural at home remedy for acne? I’m done with all the chemicals ingredients on my face.

I know you said no chems but the only thing that worked for me was 1 session of a chemical peel (ask for 7 layers) and drink ONLY water in place of any other beverage. ONLy WaTeR!! Don’t believe me, look at my before and afters. Still can’t believe it’s me. - 1 session of a strong chemical peel -Drink Water ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -Oxy gently in circular motions until face starts feeling tingly. -and an oil free moisturizer! Let me know how it goes! Good luck!

Honestly I did like three to four different sessions of chemical peels and they really were life changing. Unfortunately for me my acne continued so I went on Accutane

I’ve asked for recommendations for foundations a bit lately but I always ask for drugstore products. Now I’m just asking for any suggestions for foundations for dry skin, my go to has been e.l.f. Flawless Finish Foundation but now with the weather changing even it’s looking kind of dry and flaky on me, even though I’ve switched to my thick moisturizer and prep my skin thoroughly beforehand. I really want to find a foundation with good coverage that’s also very hydrating and I just haven’t had any luck with any I’ve tried so far, so any suggestions are much appreciated.

With so many people moving into serums and acids just a reminder: You should NOT mix these VITAMIN C + AHAS/BHAS : Combining retinol with Vitamin C is a recipe for peeling, redness and irritation, in short, a total disaster for the health of your skin RETINOIDS + AHAS/BHAS: damages skin moisture barrier and can cause irritation, redness, dry skin over time; use separately and sparingly RETINOIDS + VITAMIN C: may cause over exfoliation, resulting in increased skin and sun sensitivity; separate into day/night routines Benzoyl peroxide + vitamin C OIL-BASED + WATER-BASED. GLYCOLIC ACID + SALICYLIC ACID: too many acids can strip the skin and damage its ability to recover NIACINAMIDE + VITAMIN C: use in careful moderation. Some studies show that They stabilize each other some shoe that mixing vitamin c can result in a niacin flush (red irritation to the skin). -Retinols should mostly be used at night - Vitamin C should mostly be used at night -Wait 20 mins when layering multiple serums (if you find your skin can tolerate it in one setting) -Don’t forger your SPF 30 during the day -When introducing acids to your face “purging” is only normal to a certain extent

These are references telling you how antioxidants differ from acids. And that all do not exfoliate.

@Ayan Qureshi you go to one website which is Paulas choice and not any other website that was reviewed by a dermatologist .. no where does it says it was .. I’ve given you three different website (healthline, WEBMD, and a professional Chemist) and all you have is a Paulas choice website lmaooo

I have combination skin. Some spots dry others oily☹️ and my foundation never seems to stay on my face. It will crease and just fall off through out the day.. what foundation should I use that won’t break the bank 💰

I would suggest that a good primer is the way to get your foundation to behave. I have combo skin that leans towards dry, and I live for primer. I am currently enjoying the Fenty primer, but I have also had good experiences with Revlon primers when on a budget. I always finish my look with some finishing spray! Each help keep makeup in place and looking fresh.

I have had issues with dry patchy spots around my chin making my foundation look gross and flakey for years and I started using the ordinary line and I’m obsessed. This toner gently exfoliates and gets rid of all that flake then I use the “buffet” and moisturizer all from the ordinary line and my skin has never looked better and my makeup has never looked so smooth. And it’s SO affordable.
