does not have fallout

it's well pigmented (not so pigmented it's difficult to apply and blend), has no fall out on the face and lasts well

beautiful dark goldcoppery highlighter

Let me start of by stating that I really like Balm products which are of such great quality. This bronzer like other Balm products is super pigmented easily blendable a little will go a long way and will last you a very long time!Because of being superpigmented I recommend using a fan brush to apply. You can always add more but this is so rich and luxurious looking that it only takes one brush stroke to get desired look. This is a shimmery bronzer....the color is a mix between dark gold and copper....definitely different from the MaryLou manizer which is a white shimmery highlighter. This looks good as a highlighter used above blush on cheekbones innercorner eyes above or below brow bone and above cupids bow. This looks good on all skintones....giving that sunkissed tannedlook for lighter skintones and that healthy glow for mediumdark skintones I am NC 40medium skintone. I would use this as a highlighter in the above mentioned areas or as part of contour routine on cheekbones only. But since this is shimmery and not matte I would not use this bronzer as your contour powder to apply on sides of nose or on outline of forehead. I would use more of a matte powder for those areas. I highly recommend and at this price I would buy again in a heartbeat. This is such a beautiful naturallooking highlighter....not so noticeable or in your face as a whitepink shimmer...This bronzer gives that healthy glow. This looks lovely for everyday with a light hand or for a nighttime look go crazy. Let me state that Overstocks customer service is great! I had an issue with this order and they took care of it with no questions asked. I have ordered different items from overstock....fro... « less

Versatile application

Product comes in a large amount and a very practical, sturdy and lightweight packaging with fun design, which are all staples of the brand. Shimmer particles are extremely finely milled, so they don't accentuate fine lines, pores etc. Shine is not glittery but gives uniform glow. It is very intense so if applied with a dense brush it will give strong reflection, good for accents above the lip, in a tear duct or as inner corner lid eye-shadow. For a more subtle effect and larger areas (cheekbones, under the brow, nose bridge) go for a fluffier brush, like a fan brush or a duo-fiber stippling, and lightly dust for a glowing sheen. Product is very pigmented so go light-handed and build up if you want more. For all-over skin shine go for huge powder brush and go all over the desired area. Color is yellowish champagne, sometimes referred to as candlelight and it would work for neutral and warm skin tones, or if you have yellow tones in your hair, it would pull together all the highlights. « less

Maybe I am not using it in right way or maybe it is just my skin but I am not excited about this highlighter. Every time I put it on it looks like I have a powder with glitter on my cheeks... I have tried to apply it both with my fingers and a brush and it always looks heavy and patchy. It doesn’t last even for even an hour and I do not like how it looks specially up close... I wanted to like this product but it just doesn’t work for me.

I am hooked! I happened upon this product line in reading a dermatologist's reviews of the quality of products on the market in distinguishing those with quality ingredients and staying power against those that are just backed by marketing hype and labels. Glad I did. This ranked at the top.Keep in mind that it is designed to be a highlighter, so if you're seeking high pigment, you just need to layer. This product goes on smoothly, a little goes a long way and it stands up to 2 hour runs in the heat in which most products oxidize and slide right off my face. Most of the time, these runs are AFTER a 10 hour work day, so this stuff really performs. Right now, I own Balm Hot Mama All in One Blush, Balm downBOY Shadow Blush, Balm Mary-Lou Manizer and Balm Tinted Moisturizer.By the way, the Tinted Moisturizer has outperformed every one on the market for it's quality. Just do a little internet research and you'll see. « less

Good brown bronzer and contour powder.

Bahama Mama is a cool to neutral toned matte brown bronzing powder which is also good for contouring. I have found many cheaper bronzers are red or orange toned, this is not the case with Bahama Mama. It's well pigmented (not so pigmented it's difficult to apply and blend), has no fall out on the face and lasts well. I would recommend bahama mama as a cheaper alternative to laguna by Nars or Hoola Benefit.

I’m not a huge fan of lip products for two main reasons: 1) I hate wearing lipstick... If it’s not dry, it WILL come off within 20 minutes of application 😬 2) I’m just not a huge fan of intense colors on my lips... so I resort to wearing chapstick or tinted balms... any suggestions for beginner lip products that won’t be heavy on the lips / provide a lil pop of color?

Y’all I need help 😫 I’m trying to find a highlighter that looks natural (that natural shine) instead of the glitter highlighter that most products have. Thank you!! #highlighters #makeup #natural #seekingforadvice

The Balm’s Mary Lou Manizer is gorgeous for that natural looking glow! It’s not too blinding but still gives a great shine without the glitter (:
