Best for "No-makeup" Makeup Looks, All Skin Types.

This is a great moisturizer. Its description says normal to dry skin, but this can even be used on oily skins like myself. I normally use the water cream, but I really wanted to try this to be extra nourishing to my skin which is acne prone. While my skin is very oily, it still needs to be moisturized so it won't overproduce oil. Anyways, this is a beautiful moisturizer. It takes a good five to ten minutes to sink into the skin, while the water cream is almost instantly sunk in. This also leaves a beautifully radiant skin like it claims, without looking oily like my face can be. Its definitely dewy looking in a good way and looks its best either without makeup or under any foundation that is not matte. You can use this with matte foundation with this to be extra nourishing, but you will not see the dewy look the way you would with other foundations. This does not trigger my acne and is not too heavy. However, less is definitely more with this moisturizer. You hardly need any to moisturize your entire face. I use about half the amount of this compared to water cream (like 1-2 grains of rice literally). From least hydrating to most hydrating from Tatcha is: Water Cream, Dewy Cream, Indigo Cream, Silk Cream, Luminous Dewy Cream. Comparing this to the dewy mist, this cream sinks into the skin much better and leaves a much more natural, long lasting, dominate raidiant dewy skin look. I'm very happy with this purchase and if you have dry skin, you can save yourself quiet a bit of money by purchasing this instead of the silk cream. (the indigo is barely more heavy than the dewy cream, but is specifically designed for those with sensitive skins and does not have a dewy skin look). I also think this is a must-try if you really strive for "no-makeup" makeup looks. This is the best way to give you that naturally glowing, healthy skin look. Less

SLAAAAYYYYY

If you can’t get enough of Tatcha, and you’re considering adding this to your collection, OR simply curious about trying the brand for the first time, this product is worth your time (& money). The Dewy Skin Cream is very versatile: *People with combination/normal skin (even with an oily T-Zone such as myself) can benefit from using this as a fantastic night cream. I wake up and my skin is soft, plump, and glowing! Or if the winter weather is causing dry patches, apply the Water Cream all over, then the Dewy Skin Cream to those areas. **Those with dry skin can benefit from using this both day and night (if extra dry along the cheeks or forehead, apply 1 thin layer, and an additional layer right before bed, if needed). It is a very balanced, moisturizing cream that leaves the skin looking beautiful and hydrated.Tatcha has saved my skin, and boosted my self-esteem. I have been using several products of their line, and I can’t rave enough about how Tatcha not only improves texture, fine lines/wrinkles, AND scarring, but ALSO gives you that “glow from within” look, that isn’t always easy to achieve with other skincare.I dare you to invest in this product. Take the plunge... you want regret it. <3 Less

Mysterious Bumps

I WANTED TO LOVE THIS SO BAD YALL!! I’m a Tatcha fanatic and use a good amount of her line in my everyday routine. Just to list them out: Cleansing Oil, Rice Polish, Essence, Water Cream, Pearl Eye Treatment, Firming Eye Serum, Brightening Serum, Silken Pore SPF, Silk Canvas Primer and Neck Cream. All that being said.. I have a pretty good understanding of the quality of Tatcha’s products are DEFINITELY worth the hype/splurge (scouts honor). Let me start off by saying I have Combo skin and to clarify.. I have oily t-zone, acne prone & my cheeks and nose are dry patch city if I use the wrong moisturizer. I used the Dewy Skin for a month and a half as my night time moisturizer before I realized we had to part ways *Sad Face*. Let me essplain... The first night after using the Dewy skin I immediately fell in love like all my other Tatcha skincare! My skin felt hydrated, refreshed and had a nice luminosity but not greasy! So the next night was when it started going downhill... I woke up the next morning and saw these small skin colored bumps between the apples of my cheeks and my nostrils. Throughout the day.. the bumps would go away so I didn’t pay too much mind to it. Next day same bumps appeared in the same area AND on my forehead. But this time the we’re also a larger bumped joined in on the party. After switching back to my Water Cream as my morning and night time moisturizer.. I realized me and the Dewy skin couldn’t be pals anymore. All the bumps I experienced I’m suspecting they weren’t pimples but like temporarily/minorly clogged pores..?? Only because when I get a pimple/zip.. they stay for a really long time and then they leave a ridiculous scar forever! But the bumps would appear in the morning and sometime during the day! SO WEIRD! Less

LOVE this moisturizer! I use it as a “primer” before my foundation and it gives me a beautiful glow from within. I have very dry skin so this product is a dream come true. However, if you have oily skin this would be a nightmare!

I think the best primer for dry skin is your moisturizer. I don’t think primers are totally necessary for dry skin. I use the Tatcha Dewy Skin Créme (it’s expensive but WORTH IT) and tiny bit of some pore-filling primer on my cheeks/nose and my makeup lasts all day.
