using this and the tatcha gentle rice powder enzyme polish (also amazing) has made my skin the best it's been in years, to the point that i constantly get asked how i keep my skin so nice

- Sephora User

it removed makeup (i would still suggest a preliminary makeup removal process if you’ve got a full-face on), felt gentle yet thoroughly clean, and super smooth

- Sephora User

this cleaning oil does an overall great job, and leave my skin clean and moisturizing

- Sephora User

it removes my makeup while simultaneously hydrating & replenishing my skin

- Sephora User

pore minimizing

pore minimizing

it is oil based and therefore melts on your face, allowing you to give yourself a little massage while effectively taking off makeup (better than all the other cleansers i've used) and cleansing pores

- Sephora User

this year for halloween i used a lot of liquid eyeliner to create a mask and i was worried about my pores being irritated and clogged, and tatcha's cleansing oil removed every thing

- Sephora User

uneven skintone

evens out skin

this cleanser is rich, easily and gently removes all makeup (even eye makeup), rinses away with no residue, and has helped tighten my pores and even out my skin

- Sephora User

i had scarring from my late teens , uneven skin tone , broke out at times , i never felt happy with myself no matter how good my makeup looked, it has all changed with tatcha, this oil is so light but yet so powerful and feels great , i normally stay far away from oils but this is so different

- Sephora User

redness relief

since using this product my skin texture has dramatically improved and redness is significantly reduced

- Sephora User

from the very first time i used this duo, and every time since, my redness is noticeably reduced as are any pimples i have at that time

- Sephora User

what i loved about this is how it made my skin feel after: super soft and smooth, even though my skin was crazy dry and bumpy from acne

- Sephora User

my skin feels so clean and healthy afterwards and i always wake up with smooth skin

- Sephora User

good for acne

i definitely recommend this product because it has helped my face with getting over my acne and leaves my skin looking fantastic

- Sephora User

no new breakouts, nothing

- Sephora User

my skin feels smooth and radiant after using it paired with the tatcha rice enzyme powder, and it helps clear away blemishes while leaving my skin smooth and comfortable--no oily feeling at all

- Sephora User

melts everything, face looks bright and happy afterwards

- Sephora User

good quality

yes it's pricey but if your looking for something high quality and unique this is for you

- Sephora User

my skin quality has actually become noticeable to others- my brow waxer commented on my "glowing" skin the other day and asked what i was using

- Sephora User

i do feel like this is helping care for my skin for anti aging and for giving it a wonderful clean glow

- Sephora User

i'm in that in-between stage that you often get in your thirties where you are still getting breakouts but also battling the first signs of aging, and it is difficult to find products that provide clarity and softness to the skin

- Sephora User

the packaging is beautiful and luxurious, and this is a thicker consistency so it feels more like a cleansing gel

- Sephora User

it also doesn't have a strong smell, which is nice, and the texture is light and silky

Seriously amazing

I am 27 and have combo skin (but it gets flaky/dehydrated in the winter) that is easily prone to breakouts year round. I wanted to focus more on my skincare after feeling like my current routine wasn't really doing anything other than just cleaning my face. For reference, I stopped BC about 4 months ago and I would still break out on it, and I still break out off of it. After reading tonsss of reviews for this, I decided to purchase the travel size to give it a try... I am SO glad I did. My pores get so much more clean, my skin looks radiant, it has more of an even tone, and it just looks like it has life. It does NOT break me out which I am so happy about. I wont' say this is a cure for acne because I still do breakout or have belmishes here and there but I know it's not a direct correlation to this..it's just my skin (ugh). I do feel like this is helping care for my skin for anti aging and for giving it a wonderful clean glow. Ordered another one so I can keep my travel sized one for actual travel now! Can't wait to see how this does in the winter on my skin too. (At the same time I also purchased the Caudelie essence water which I use daily, the Tata Harper clarifying mask which I've been using weekly, and the Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel which I used 3 times but wasn't sure how I felt about it) Side note for acne prone people, I have also used a wide range of face washes from all natural, drug store acne ones, prescription, etc. and I like this ones wayyy more than any other one I've tried. I will follow this cleanser up with a drugstore acne wash on days when my breakouts are a bit more prevalent. Sorry for the long post! I just know this kind of info helps me make decisions :) « less

I can’t believe how good my skin looks and feels

I am extremely sensitive with acne prone skin that is dry/combo and I usually get oily throughout the day. I have also struggled with cystic acne since my twenties and have a lot of acne scars and was also starting to get some wrinkles now that I am in my 30’s. I bought the holiday travel/sample set first because I wanted to try it out and this stuff has been the magic potion I’ve been looking for. Very easy to use, quick process and it gets the job done. After washing off a full face of very thick packed on makeup my face has never looked and felt so clean. This product does not leave a residue behind and also moisturizes my skin instead of drying it out. After using the whole trial set I purchased the full size of this cleanser and the rice powder as well as the water cream moisturizer and those 3 products are all that I use now. My skin is softer, more even textured and even the coloration has evened out. Most times I will break out when trying a new product until my skin adjusts but that never happened with these. In fact, I was terribly broken out when I started using it and it cleared everything up. My acne scars are starting to fade and even my new found wrinkles are fading a little. I love how gentle these products are on your skin while being so powerful. I have been using this now for about 3 months and I don’t think I will ever use anything else. Don’t think too much on the price because it lasts a while and a little goes a long way so you do get your moneys worth. I would recommend this product to anyone with any skin concern, any skin type, any age. I also love that the purchase of these products helps with charity so your money goes to a good place on top of all of the benefits that you get. « less

***Finally found my HG cleanser!***Searched for a few years since my old cream cleanser from Bliss was discontinued. Wanted to try it due to reviews re: pore reduction but was very skeptical. After first use, saw visible pore tightening, improvement in tone and clarity on my forehead. After 3 days, I was so happily surprised, excited, and amazed at the skin results on my face. The oil is much different (luxurious sensation/higher quality) than other oil cleansers. Previously couldn't stick to a night time routine. Now I look forward to it all day. So addictive! In a good way. Before, had to use 2-3 cleansers/wash 2-3 times to fully remove foundation and rub/scrub it from my pores. Now that my pores are tighter, foundation doesn't get stuck in them anymore and this one step cleansing is so much easier and gentler on my skin.My findings (dry, EXTREMELY sensitive skin with redness and very stretched pores)=>:Cleanses extremely well yet gently, rinses off without any residue, no unpleasant tightness, reduces redness, calms, redensifies/firms/plumps skin, tightens pores, improves clarity and tone (kind of like turning back time to my child age skin). Can't comment on eye make up removal effectiveness as I prefer to use an eye make up remover prior to washing my face.Never used ANY skin product with such great results. Thanking my lucky stars that I tried it. Sephora/Tatcha PLZ don't discontinue this EVER! « less

Best Cleanser Ever!

I'm seriously over the moon about this cleanser. I've been a fan of oil cleansers ever since discovering the Clinique Take The Day Off but I didn't like the film it seemed to leave behind. I was hearing more about Tatcha off YouTube but was very hesitant because of the price tag. I've used many products that were pricey but seemed to do no better than my favorite drugstore cleansers.I decided to shell out some serious cash and bought a bunch of Tatcha products but this has got to be my favorite. It takes EVERYTHING off, waterproof mascara, super long lasting foundation, you name it. And it does so very gently. With my makeup on I do feel like I have to double cleanse, but that's with most cleansers. What I love the most is how soft my skin feels after. No greasy feeling, no film left behind, and most importantly, I do not feel as though it is clogging my pores. My skin has never felt or looked this good in my life. While I have dry skin I do think oily skin girls will enjoy it too with how soft it makes your skin feel. Before I was using harsh acids and enzymes to cleanse and treat my skin, but who knew that the best thing for it was to lay off and baby it! If you're looking to try Tatcha products but are scared because of the price tag, this is a great starter product. I can be certain that if you enjoy this you will really love everything else Tatcha has! « less

Broke out my sensitive skin

I really thought I would love this cleansing oil based on all the glowing reviews, and my initial positive experience. The packaging is beautiful and I love that the company helps support educating girls. This product left my skin feeling soft and smooth right after the first use, and did an AMAZING job of removing all my face makeup (although, I still had to use a makeup remover to take off my waterproof mascara). I was excited I might have found a great new cleanser, because my usual cleanser often leaves my skin feeling a bit dry and tight if I don't tone immediately after. However, by day 3 I started to notice I was breaking out with multiple small white heads :(. I decided to give the product some time, but this continued for 2 weeks, so I've decided to return the product. I have very sensitive, combination skin. Glad that this product appears to work great for others, but it wasn't for me. « less

Primer / Concealer Question : I have very dry skin but at the end of the end my face looks dewy/sweaty? What’s a good Long Lasting primer that will add moisture but won’t crease/cake up and stop this end of the day dewy look?? I’m 26 and still get acne so nothing irritating. I prefer a more natural finish. I currently use the FIT ME foundation. Also looking for a good lightweight concealer for dark under eyes...Thanks in advance!!

If your skin is getting oily by the end of the day, it sounds like you might not be dry skinned, but rather your face wash is too harsh and is drying you out in the morning. I had the same issue, and when I switched to an oil face wash, my issues went away. My favorite is Tatcha @Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil and if that doesn’t help, try Bobbi Brown @Vitamin Enriched Face Base

Looking for recommendations for a cleansing oil or balm for removing makeup at the end of the day that does not have coconut oil or any palm derivative. Currently use micellar water but my face is getting drier (accutane 😒) and think an oil would be less irritating. Will double cleanse but want one that doesn’t leave too much of a residue when rinsed off with water. Minimal or no fragrance would also be great!

HIGHLY recommend BareMinerals Oil Obsessed ($30) but it’s not on this app yet? So I’m also linking my 2nd favorite. For a cheaper option, The Ordinary Squalene Cleanser ($7.90)
