So worth the hype!

This palette is incredible! The first thing I notice when I open it is that incredible Tarte scent, this one is like chocolate to me. The colors are butter soft, super pigmented, and easily blended. There is literally zero kickback with my brush, so no wasted product! The reddish tones compliment my medium tanned skin and brown eyes perfectly and are amazing for Fall. The colors stay vibrant and in place all day with no creasing or fallout. S'More, Flame , Warmth, and Crackle makes for the perfect sexy smokey eye! No wonder everyone was so psyched for Toasted to come out, Tarte really knocked it out of the park with this palette!

Warmth for the Warm Toned

This palette is a win if you love using warm colours.Palettle quality: Lasts 4-8 hours depending on sweatyness(no primer/setting spray). Good pigments, smooth application and blending(fingers only). Wide variety of looks available.I use S'more, Cashmere, and Latte as a base depending upon the intensity of the look that I want.Warmth is my absolute love for the crease, and S'more makes a decent inner corner and brow highlight. Shimmer is the best of the mettalics in the third column. Potent and transfers easily. Cosy is super pigmented and vibrant.Flame does not apply too well, and offers a more subtle shimmer. Crackle does not transfer the golden flakes. Candle has a bit of fallout, but is an excellent highlight for night looks. Fireside looks more like a deep warm brown on my skin, but that seems to be how it goes for me. It is still lovely. The effort that tarte has put into the packaging, and the consideration of the scent of vanilla really exemplifies the quality of the product that they are delivering.I have red hair, green/blue eyes, and am as pale as Jen From tarte. I cannot wear cool colours, and neutral colours do nothing for me. Wearing these explicitly warm tones has helped me get a look that I actually love! Less

Perfect!

Absolutely love it! I have been waiting for this beauty. I have been using for about a week now and I adore it! I have the In Bloom and I was hoping that this palette would live up to that and the Tarte Pro. It definitely did, and then some!Comparisons: In the In Bloom, the creamiest shimmer shade is the copper one in the middle. The other two, though beautiful once on, I found to be a little more difficult to apply. All of the shades in the Toasted are easy to apply and are very foiled if applied wet! Long lasting as well. The matte shadows are the same buttery consistency as the In Bloom and the Pro. In the Pro, the Mod, Drama and Vamp were a little tougher in consistency than the typical buttery smooth shadows tarte usually produces (they perform great once on the eye). All of the matte shades in the toasted are soft and super blendable. Some reviews I had viewed mentioned the shadows being powdery - I feel they are the normal texture for tarte and I like soft shadows. I just tap my brush in and I have plenty of pigment! Tarte mattes are less powdery than say Lorac, ABH and MUG for those of you who have not tried tarte’s eyeshadows. In closing, the Toasted is everything I had hoped it would be. I believe it will surpass the In Bloom as my favorite palette of all time. I have made some beautiful looks this week. Great blendability, pigment and longevity. There is only one thing negative I have to say about the palette is that I really could have done without the glitter in crackle. I was excited about that shade and it looks beautiful in pan. When blended the glitter falls and it makes a great crease color, but I feel like the glitter was unnecessary in that base. That is more of a personal preference thing, though. Regardless, this is an easy 5/5 for me.Also, thank you tarte for making the pans magnetic! I have limited space in my bathroom and love to stick a bunch of stuff in the large tarte magnetic palettes (they are hands down the most sturdy and beautiful magnetic palettes. I travel a lot and I am not gentle with them. That is a whole different review. I just bought #5 with the Toasted.) I am very thankful that the company is putting out more products with magnetic pans that are easy to remove. I just figured out that the Pro Glow, Clay Face Shaping Palette and the Chisel palette are magnetic and I greatly appreciate it! Depotting the In Bloom was a nightmare (kudos to the strength of you packaging) so it was nice to just pop the Toasted pans out so it could live with the In Bloom. Less

Worst Tarte Ever

Save your money and time. I was so excited about this palette until I received it. Wow, so disappointing! This swatch on hand with nice except the color "candle", but when I apply the color on my eyes, it seems chalky and unblendable. I am such a fan of Tarte, but definitely this one let me down. Don't let the swatch fool you because there is no pigment or tremendous fall out. I usually don't write review, but this time I just want to help out.

Amazing palette

This is honestly one of the best palettes in my collection, and this is coming from a person who has close to a 100 of them (excessive, I know..)It is so easy to work with, and all colors work beautifully for me.I am very fair skinned, and therefore some of the other warm palettes out there can look a bit harsh on me. This one doesn’t, it is absolutely perfect. Each color is so pigmented, without being excessively pigmented (subculture style). These colors also blend perectly and I get my looks to last all day without fading or creasing. It is one of my longest lasting palettes. This is definitely one of the best palettes this year, and it is definitely in my top 10, or even top 5, palettes of all time. Tarte never disappoints.
