Unbelievably unhappy with this product, I really wanted to love it. It it's a fantastic design idea, but executed poorly. The red shade is one of the only shades that really worked for me, which is why I am giving it two stars. The green is completely sheer. I tried applying it with the Tarte Color Correcting Brush and I ended up putting around 4-5 layers to make sure that it was properly concealing the redness. The concealer colors are lovely in the palette but don't conceal at all. The contour was too dark for me (light skin with olive undertones) but it may work for others. Within minutes, the product was sliding all over the place. It was impossible to complete the rest of my face like a contour without the product streaking and moving. I immediately wiped it off my face and went back to the $14 Sephora product I got. Big miss, I was expecting something better from Tarte but ultimately the quality of the formulas was really lacking.I would have been ready to pay more for this great palette if the quality was better. « less

This product is amazing!!!! I have been contouring with powder for awhile scared to use a cream and I finally decided to get on the color concealer train. Tried the new UD corrector and this at the same time and TARTE won hands down. The consistance is wonderful, the coverage is great, and the blendabilitly and the awesome. I bought the brush that goes with it which works great but just as well with a beauty blender. Now for the cream contouring, it easily blends out beautifully especially around the nose and neck (which personally that is where my struggle is) I can't express my love for this palette enough. If you are just starting off or been color correcting for awhile save yourself some money, this is a one stop shop for color correcting and contouring.

First of all I have never tried color correcting before but the dark circles under my eyes were in desperate need of help as well as the redness in my cheeks that has suddenly appeared now that i'm in my 40s. I have been looking at color correcting palettes for awhile trying to decide which one would be best and wanted the convenience of having the colors all in one place as well as the affordability (buying them separately looks like it would be costly). When I saw this palette show up on the website I decided I just had to try it. I have several Tarte products and have not been disappointed so far. This palette works very well with my dry fair skin. The formula is creamy and blends well. So far I have used the red, green, lighter peach and yellow and am pleased with all of them. They successfully hid my dark circles and redness and helped to brighten my face. I haven't tried the contouring one yet but I like the idea of having it in this palette so I wouldn't have to carry my contour palette if I were to travel.. I applied the colors in this palette after applying primer and before foundation and had no problem at all. I like the simplicity of this palette and the instructional video on Sephora and the diagram that came in it is extremely helpful to us first timers who don't want something complex. The packaging is absolutely adorable as well. The only thing I would have liked is perhaps a lavender color but I can live without it or can buy it separately. Also if you have dark skin and/or an oily complexion you may want to look for something else. Do your research and look at reviews before purchasing a color correcting palette to see which one will most likely work best for you because as great as this palette is for me, it's not going to be for everyone. « less

This is so much better than I thought it would be. Here’s my 5 minute morning routine.I spray the Marine Boost Spray all over for hydration. Once that dries down I put a little 1 under/around my eyes and to the sides of my nose. Then I take 2 and apply a little to the redness on my cheeks. Lastly I blend 4 and yellow together and add that to the areas I want to brighten up. After that’s done I take a damp beauty blender and I blend all of that into my skin. Once that’s blended I add cc cream or foundation, depending on the day. At that point I have the most even skintone. So I go back to the palette and contour and highlight with yellow, 3, and 5. I take my damp beauty blender and set it all with Laura Mercier loose powder. It sounds like a lot but it takes less than 5 minutes. I don’t think I’ve ever been happier with a palette. Also, you won’t find a color correcting palette with this much pigmentation. I don’t think this is for a 20 year old. But I am 38 and I have discoloration from aging. So this is my new best friend. « less

I'm fairly new when it comes to color correcting, started with the Sephora Collection: Bright Future Color Correctors and decided I needed to step up my color correcting game. I'm a big fan of Tarte,so when they released Rainforest of the Sea Collection, I decided to give this palette it a try. It's very creamy, easy to apply and blend out. It immediately balanced out the dark spots I have on my face! I do have a little bit of acne scars and dark circles under my eyes. I have a combination of Oily and Dry skin and it didn't gave me break outs. I used my primer prior color correcting then applied my foundation and concealer afterwards. I do think this is also great palette for traveling since everything is here! not to mention it has shades for contouring. So far very happy with this one! « less
