this palette out shines all of the palettes i currently own, it's super pigmented, blends beautifully and stays on until i remove it in the evening

- Sephora User

this eyeshadow is highly pigmented and last all day

does not have fallout

this rainforest of the sea palette is so much better because it's smooth and creamy and the different colors blend so easily with no fallout at all

- Tartecosmetics User

there aren't words to describe how gorgeous this palette is, it's so beautiful, the color payoff is great, the fallout isn't bad and the packaging is so quality

- Sephora User

- Sephora User

goes on beautifully and blends like no other

not creasing

i forgot my eye primer before applying these shadows the other day, and when i got home 14 hours later, there was still good color and almost no creasing - pretty amazing on my eyelids

- Sephora User

this lasted 12 hours with no fading or creasing

- Sephora User

the pigment is very nice, and the shadow itself is creamy and has a nice texture

- Tartecosmetics User

everything about this palette is gorgeous, the shadows are very soft and smooth in texture

- Tartecosmetics User

the purple looks like a sheer blue (like an actual sea color) and the other colors are nicely sheer

- Sephora User

too sheer

Great product for a great price

LOVE LOVE LOVE this palette! Very versatile shades that are buildable pigments and look good sheer or solid. The texture really is creamy and there's very little if any fallout. With eyeshadow primer, the shadow stays a long time. I test-drove it on a 12-hour workday where I got a bit sweaty and it stayed like a champ. Very easy to blend. I love this formula and this palette is my new everyday go-to, plus super easy for travel since it's smaller than the Naked and Tartlette palettes.

I feel like a friggin sun-kissed mermaid

At first I was disappointed because I had waited SO long for this palette, and I felt that they were kind of blah and not very pigmented. I was used to my kvd Monarch palette. Then I realized that I was going to have to be a lot more firm with these shadows and dug in my brushes a lot more and holyy, they're so so nice! They blend soo nicely together. The only thing is that I find they don't have a colour dark enough if you're looking for a lot of contrast, but kvd to the rescue. These are perfect for every day looks and even evening looks with dramatic eyeliner. I've been wearing them for 12 hours now and not one crease (I usually crease). I'm not sure if it's the shadows themselves or the Too Faced primer I'm wearing, but they still look perfect and vibrant. Best of all it doesn't feel like I'm wearing eyeshadow at all, and I have quite a bit on. Definitely recommend. « less

I purchased this palette a week ago and it's already my favorite. I have about 15 other high end eye shadow palettes and I would pick this one over a tom ford quad any day. They blend flawlessly without turning into a muddy mess. The white and nude shades are matte and the rest are shimmers. These are the only eyeshadows I have that don't have fallout at all. They don't kick up any powder whatsoever and I never feel the need to tap off excess. They are perfectly pigmented. They don't crease and they last beautifully all day long. I have used every shadow in the palette and I love them all. Perfect size and beautiful packaging. If you're iffy about this because of negative reviews, go for it, because it's limited edition. It is definitely the best eyeshadow palette I own, hands down.

Returned it

I loved Tarte eye shadows in general; I constantly find myself dipping into the Tarteist Pro palette because I can trust that those eyeshadows will not budge (even without primer!), will not crease, and will last on my lids all day, plus stay as vibrant and pigmented as they were when I first applied them to my eyes. I was thinking this would be the same, but it's sadly not... Firstly, I have seen this particular palette floating around a few times. It has never been as hyped as any of the other Tarte palettes (and now I can see why...), so I was just assuming it was maybe not as outstanding and was just average. My cousin who actually works at Sephora recommended I get this palette, however. She was explaining how much more improved the eyeshadow formula was, and how nice the colours could compliment me . No offence to my dear cousin, but I regretted this purchase. The biggest problem with these eyeshadows came in their first impression; the colour layout. Even looking at the colour variety in this palette is sad; they're all muted down, semi glittery (and rather chalky, but we'll get to that later) shadows that had hints of grey, purple, and nudes in them. I couldn't imagine using ONLY this palette for a complete eye makeup look, which is rather inconvenient. Aside this, I decided to dip in and try the shadows for real. One word: fallout. I was completely astonished; no Tarte eyeshadow (or any eyeshadow I've ever tried, and that's saying something) has ever been so messy in application. In addition to this, the formula was no near as velvety and pigmented as the other Tarte eyeshadows I've tried. Instead, they were chalky and barely showed in colour. They didn't stay put, either; they were basically the opposite of what you'd want in an eyeshadow. Long story short, I returned the palette to my local Sephora because I had no use for it. I can imagine you COULD possibly use some of the lighter and glittery tones for the inner corner of your eye for a highlight, or even under the brow bone, but there's no guarantee it'll last the day. Overall, I am very disappointed in this palette and am hoping Tarte keeps their pre-existing eyeshadow formula for the new upcoming palettes they release « less

Nice wear

I've enjoyed Tarte palettes in the past and never have had issues with powdery-ness that some people have had. That said, this formula is definitely different as others have noticed. It feels thicker/creamier when you try to apply it with a brush, but it blends nicely and lasted on me all day with no creasing. The colors are neutrals, with a true neutral to slightly cool tone. The colors are somewhat similar to anyone who bought the Tarte Sultry Sunset palette a year or two ago. I bought it as a back-up/travel bag alternate for that palette. The palette comes with a large mirror in the lid.

This is my go to palette and it travels with me! It’s all neutral shades but with some deep shimmer!! I love to use the lighter shades in the inner corner of my eyes
