Amazing lashes

This is a staple in my make up collection, this mascara is probably one of the best I have ever used. The brush is amazing and separates your lashes making them longer and thicker without looking clumpy. I love full sized lashes but with this mascara you can wear a little bit and get a very natural but full lash, if you apply a few coats it gives you the look of false eyelashes without having to put any lashes on. The formula doesn’t transfer, your lashes look fuller and longer and it lasts all day. I have quite deep set almond shaped eyes and I have a lot of lashes but they aren’t very think and are very blonde on the ends and this gives me the look of very cat shaped eyes with thick full lashes without any clumps. If you are looking for a new mascara then this is for you. I have used it on a lot of people and it works on everyone. It is a must have when I leave the house all I use is primer, lip balm and this mascara and it makes for a very natural look or whenever I’m going out I don’t need to apply lashes and this gives me the same look. 10/10 product « less

Absolutely in love with this product. Not waterproof and does have some smudging after some long days but stay put pretty well!

one of the worst mascaras I've ever used

I've tried dozens of volumizing mascaras ranging from high to low end and this is easily one of the worst. The formula is not deep black at all, but more of a grayish black. The consistency is sticky, heavy, dry, and difficult to layer. Even with a lash comb, it was impossible to sculpt lashes or break up the clumps, and my curl completely disappeared after one coat. My lashes are naturally fairly thick and long, and this mascara made them look so much worse than they actually are by clumping them together into wiry, anemic-looking spider legs. Layering this mascara over a primer helped a little with the volume and spreadability, but not enough. The brush looked interesting at first, and if your lashes are thin I could see how it could provide some definition. But ultimately the tiny bristles on the rubber brush are too short for anyone with thicker lashes, and they just make a gloppy mess. The only thing I ended up liking about this formula was the packaging. There are much, much better volumizing mascaras out there. Don't waste your time on this one.

Fantastic!

I LOVE this mascara, which is something I never thought I'd say about a mascara. I'm lucky enough to have long lashes and a decent amount of them BUT I have insanely sensitive eyes, to the point I thought I'd have to stop using mascara all together. :(But, the consultant I spoke with was awesome and said Tarte had a really good rep for being sensitive skin/eye friendly. I tried this and it's perfect. Super light weight, minimal clumping, and it gets all my lashes (even the tiny ones!). It does smudge/smear a little after wear (but I also rub my eyes a lot so that may not be the mascaras fault) and it's doesn't lengthen or thicken to much but it curls wonderfully.TL;DR: Great for sensitive eyes/skin and making long lashes pop!

really impressed

I have tried a lot of mascaras. I was dubious of trying this because I have not liked other Tarte mascaras, they have flaked off and done nothing for my eyes.Watching the presentation I was impressed at the instant effect it had on the models, their eyes looked much more open and awake. I like to think I am an informed consumer, I look closely to see if the models have lash extensions on or anything else that will affect the product. This looked pretty good.I have pretty long lashes and I usually buy mascara for lengthening and curling, I never usually buy a volumizing mascara as I am afraid they will be clumpy.First, this brush is huge, so if you have small eyes you may have an issue using this brush. About the same size as Benefit "They're Real" brush but with shorter bristles. I have used this mascara both with a primer and on its own and it has held up well and made my lashes look really good.If I use IT Cosmetics tightline as a primer this is a bit harder to get off your eyes at the end of the day but the look is quite dramatic. On its own, I open my eyes wide, go to the base of my lashes and as I pull the brush through I twist the brush so I get an even coating. I get nicely separated lashes that indeed make my eyes look more awake.I did not find this formula too thick or clumpy, infact since this product doesn't launch on the open market until November I think you can count on the mascara being very fresh and not old. « less

I want a washable mascara that give volume and length. I want it for everyday looking, it is better to be very simple length and volume. I like the brown color or black brown. I used to use lash blast covergirl, the pink one, but they do not have it in my favorite color any more. Any recommendation?

I used the Tarte Sweet Escape Collector’s Set along with the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette and Stila’s Shimmer & Glow Liquid eyeshadow in “Freedom”. This look made me feel like Elsa 😍 (don’t mind my swollen face - I just got my wisdom teeth removed)

Recommendations for volumizing mascara Hi everyone - I currently use glossier mascara which gives me really really long lashes but with little volume and plushness. Anyone have other recommendations? I’m happy to sacrifice length. Thank you! ✨💋💄

I really like @Maneater Voluptuous Mascara by tarte. I usually layer it after I use my glossier lash stick for the extra volume.
