I'm really enjoying this palette so far. It's quite small - each pan is about 5.5 x 2 cm in size - but to me that's reasonable for the price and considering that it's travel-size. Not for use with large brushes, obviously. The chocolate scent is very strong on my face. I don't mind it, but that may not be for everyone. The blush is not as bright as it appears in the photo here. You only need a very light hand with it, because it's very pigmented and does "kick up" powder easily. It blends well for me. I'm quite pale so I only use a little bit with a fan brush and that's plenty. It's a little odd that they call the warm brown shade a contour, but it works nicely for me as a light bronzer.I use the highlighter the most and it's my favourite by far, I was surprised by how smooth and buildable it is. Overall this palette is definitely worth giving a try. Less

Wooooow!

I have never worn blush before, but I decided to pick this up to play with so I could experiment with simple contouring and have a blush. The highlighter is a bonus. Can I just say: holy smokes! The color payoff is insane!! I love the shades of everything in this palette. Perfect for my skin tone! I've always steered away from blush because I don't like pink, but the blush in this palette is just what I was looking for. Seriously couldn't ask for more. I almost freaked out by how pigmented the colors were because I'm not used to using a contour palette, but it blended out perfectly. I was using the wrong brush to apply it, but I made it work. I'm so pleased with this purchase! Plus the smell is always awesome.

One of my favorite tarte purchases!

I love this palette and for the price it is totally worth it. The colors are very neutral and good for many complexions. This contour/bronzer shade and the blush shade are very easy to brush onto your face with light strokes. The palette is a little loose so you should be light handed and build up. The contour and blush are both *very* pigmented and blend out very nicely. The highlighter is actually really nice and it is a subtle shimmer that gives a nice airbrushed look. The contour shade and the blush shade are both very pigmented and it is very easy to blend both of these. The highlighter can be built up to be blinding but it is not blinding in one swipe of the brush. This product is long lasting but you may want to touch up your blush during the day to warm up your cheeks.

Great Trio

The amount of product is good and the size is perfect for carrying around in your purse or travelling. The bronzer and blush are VERY pigmented, so use a light hand. The intensity of pigmentation means less product needed, so greater longevity/very good value for money. The highlighter is either less pigmented or just needs more building to be noticeable on my light skin (not sure which). For a more subtle highlight, I use a brush; for an intense highlight, I have to pack it on with my fingers, then blend with a brush. The highlighter, blush, and bronzer blend out very well. The blush is a bit dark for me, but adds a nice colour the bronzer when added to the area around the cheeks.

Too Pigmented

"Too pigmented" probably sounds crazy, but the product is so creamy and saturated with pigment it's hard to control. I want my blush and bronzer to appear natural and pretty, and this is not the product. Even the lightest touch into the pan picks up way too much, there's kick back from the powders, and after tapping off the brush it still applied in large patches on the face. It blends out decently well, but I found myself reaching for a beauty blender to tame how oversaturated the product was. Will be returning.
