for every day use, i like a softer, smudged neutral line for my bottom lids, and, because this is waterproof, it's perfect

- Tartecosmetics User

i have really thin eyebrows with not alot of hairs and the mousse is amazing it just glides on and it really is waterproof these eyebrows aren't going anywhere

it is easy to fill in sparse parts of brows with a very natural look, and the product stays put all day and night

- Sephora User

i've always got really thick and hard-to-deal-with brows

precision

precise application

the spoolie brush allows you to make your eyebrows look less harsh and more natural and the angled brush is nice and dense which allows you to have control and be precise

- Sephora User

great for thickening, filling in gaps, and the brush makes precision strokes for a clean look

my brows lasted all day during the heatwave this summer and the color and texture combo of this let's you play with the pigmentation everyday so you can do super subtle or very dramatic depending on application technique so it is super versatile which i love

- Sephora User

Stop-This Is The One

I honestly don't know where to start. I have black hair, and I like having very dark brows so it's hard to find something natural looking, but also dark enough that it matches my hair. I've used pencils, colored wax with powder, products with raving reviews and finally I have discovered-TARTE Amazonian Clay Waterproof Brow Mousse is The One.PROS*Glides onto the eyebrows (When I first applied this, I was shocked just how easily it glided over my eyebrows with the Rich Brown color! I didn't know clay could go on so easily with one stroke)*Staying power (Wore it all night into the early morning and it did not transfer)*Customize the look from bold brows to naturally blended (using the spooly end of the brush)*Brush is the perfect size for starting the shape of your brows with clean precision!*Amazingly EASY!*I don't have to worry about overdoing it*Long lasting*Perfect shade (rich brown for my black hair-really is a VERY dark brown, not a black)*Time saver!!!CONS*As a previous reviewer has mentioned, the brush isn't the best when it comes to defining the end of the brows (The only thing I could think of!)This has to be the easiest, fool-proof way of getting amazing, natural, flawless brows FAST. There's enough brow mousse to last a lifetime, the brush isn't some cheap addition, it's incredibly easy, it's waterproof, it's long-lasting, matches my black hair-I could go on and on! Please, look no further this is a GREAT product!I'm definitely sticking to this, recommending this, and putting it on my list of best buys from Sephora! :) « less

Not worth the purchase

I ordered the Amazonian clay waterproof brow mousse because I had heard so many good things about it and I had yet to find a brow product I was in love with. Unfortunately, this was not the product. First, let’s talk positives, the color I picked was a perfect match and I love that it’s a product that will last months even with daily use. Getting a brush with it was even better. The cons were more than I wanted. While getting a brush was great, the angled side was not as “stiff” as most Brow brushes are which made getting a sharp tip near impossible and made overall application take longer than it should with it looking very blotchy. The pigment of the mousse itself did not blend well in areas with sparse to no hair and the product itself moved or wiped away so easily. This product did not live up to the hype, which is the first for me when it comes to tarte products. I would not recommend this product to anyone who doesn’t already have a fairly structured brow shape. « less

I Use This Every Day

I hope Tarte never stops making this, because it is my holy grail brow product. I am blonde and I use the shade "Taupe" to fill in my brows every day, since my brows are nearly invisible without it. The shade is good for golden or strawberry blondes, but if you're an ashy blonde, this might not work for you since it has a very, very slight hint of red to it. The name "Taupe" is a bit misleading. The color looks cool in the pot, but there's a hint of warmth to it when applied to the brows. But if applied sparingly and blended out, it may look natural on ashy blondes as well. It's extremely pigmented and a little goes a very long way. It is waterproof and very long-lasting, making it perfect for summer. I've been using mine for well over a year now, and the pot I have is still going strong. To sanitize it and make it last longer, I periodically scrape the top layer off and re-melt it in the pot. The brush is also handy--at least the spoolie end of it. I rarely use the angled side of the brush except to apply a powder over the brow gel if I feel like it. I find that an angled synthetic brush with denser bristles is much better at outlining the brow. I then use the spoolie end to blend out the outline to make it look more natural. This stuff is THE best as far as I'm concerned.

Best. Brow. Liner. Ever.

I hesitated to buy this because of the cost, but I'm glad I did. In all honesty, I have only used brow lining pencils or powders in the past, but have found that they tend to "melt" away during the course of an 8 hour day even if they're supposed to be 24 hour wear, long lasting, etc. I have never tried a water proof or mousse liner before. I used this Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Brow Mousse in the light brown. I don't need to search any further for something better than a pencil or powder. This is the best. Easy, flawless application, high quality brush, high pigmentation and a tiny bit goes a very long way, which helps offset the cost. It's much more natural looking than a pencil or powder. After using this, I realized that with the pencils, my eye brows looked a bit "sketched in" and I hate that look. I don't exactly have sparse eyebrows that need to be drawn in every day. The only con I can see to this product is that they don't offer an option especially for auburn or redheads..I have medium auburn hair, but a light application of the medium brown does the trick. One thing you should note is that the medium brown is dark, so unless you have extremely dark brown to black hair, I would stick with the medium brown and build from there if necessary. « less
