NO shimmer! Finally!

LOVE this bronzer. Been through almost a dozen looking for a decent one. Have light to medium skin and dark when I use tanning lotion. Got color "Hotel Heiress" and it is perfect for all of my skin tones because I an apply sheer or build for contouring, etc. The BEST part - NOOOO shimmer! I prefer a gently luminizer, not like I look like I fell in a vat of glitter. My skin type: VERY VERY oily, acne prone, acne scarring, and hyper-pigmentation. Lasts all day although I do use primer and a WONDERFUL foundation for oily skin (MUFE All Mat +) and the MUFE HD powder to finish everything off. Hope this helps. Usually one-liner reviews aren't much help to me.

Perfect for medium skin tones

I used to use a matte bronzer by Too Faced, until I finally ran out and had to buy a new bronzer. I borrowed this from a friend and instantly fell in love. This has VERY slight shimmer, just enough to make your skin look healthy, unlike matte bronzer, which can sometimes make your face look dirty if improperly applied. This Tarte bronzer also didn't budge all day -- I don't know about "waterproof," but it didn't smudge or fade throughout the day. It blends well, and it isn't too pigmented so you can build up the color (my past bronzers were always too pigmented, resulting in unintentional heavy-handed initial application.) I definitely recommend this for anyone who has medium skin tones as well, because it isn't too orange or brown. I personally have light-medium skin with yellow undertones, and I love the natural look this bronzer creates!

ORANGE MY GOD. I couldn’t fine a way to make this work. I read in the reviews people saying it was hard to control and omg my god yes. The tiniest dab and you’re frantically blending it out hoping you didn’t ruin your whole base. Orange stripes on my face are not my vibe. I hope they gone the pigment down and make a shade suitable for lighter and darker skinned people in the future.

I absolutely love Tarte Hotel Heiress bronzer. I've used many other high-end bronzers that I thought were great, but this particular bronzer takes the cake! It's extremely light weight, long-lasting, natural-looking, but it also gives a very believable sun-kissed beach tan appearance. It is also excellent as a contour powder for the cheekbones, & it also can be used as a warm/neural eyeshadow. This bronzer has multiple uses & is extremely easy to use. It's excellent for a 1st time bronzer user. It's blendability is amazing. This is my absolute favorite bronzer. This bronzer compliments medium & olive skinned women beautifully. I love to tan all year round & this is the perfect accent to compliment my tan. It still looks great even if my tan fades. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT & I'M VERY PICKY :) user

I was so excited to try this cream bronzer after reading all the great reviews. I have never tried a cream bronzer. I was worried about it looking oily being that I live in Florida. I am 51 years old and I have normal skin (not oily, not dry). However, I have an unusual skintone/undertone and finding colors that work for me is a constant struggle. I definitely have a medium skin tone yet most products for medium skin tones are either neutral or warm. However, my undertones are cool so I'm left in this weird limbo. I started with the Seychelles because people were saying that it's very pigmented. Well, yes, it is pigmented but the Seychelles was very light on me and looked very muddy on my skin when I tried to build the color. So I thought I would try the Grace Bay even though I heard it was very orangey. The Grace Bay is absolutely stunning and not orangey at all on me. The texture is light and not greasy. It goes on smooth and not patchy and it's very bendable. And it is long wearing, even in Florida. I tried it as a contour and a bronzer and it looks great both ways. A little goes a long way but it is defiantly buildable if you have the correct shade for your skin tone. I used a brush I have for liquid foundations and it worked great. However, I would like to try the brush that is designed to go this cream bronzer by Tarte. Less

I’m looking for a nice bronzer, high end or drugstore! I just tried the abh one and I really liked it but I haven’t worn makeup in a while so it’s gone really chalky and it doesn’t blend anymore :( help!!!
