it literally disappears into my skin - like a moisturizer - i have to blend fast and use a pretty good amount of product

this bb cream has honestly saved my skin -- i wear this instead of foundation and i swear it makes my skin smoother, clearer, and more hydrated

- Sephora User

pros: •it sinks into your skin, not laying flat on your face •helps protect your skin from uv rays •more coverage than most bb creams / moisturizers •oil-free and long lasting coverage •ultralight, unlike most bb creams •won't clog your pores •smooths your face in just one application •doesn't crease •made with a bunch of minerals and vitamins •prevents aging •dermatologist tested cons: •has a sunblock smell to it see

it was every thing i was looking-- non-pore clogging, moisturizing, makes my skin look luminous and it doesn't feel heavy or make me break out

plus it's all natural, cruelty free, and doesn't clog pores

this goes on light, imparts a beautiful, luminous, healthy glow to the skin, without hiding your natural beauty underneath

water resistance

water resistant

i pair this with the waterproof concealer and finish it all with the tarte finishing powder and i am done

- Sephora User

great so summer because it's light and you don't feel it on your face it's water proof and sweat proof

- Sephora User

color accuracy

doesn't oxidize

the finish is beautiful, it doesn't oxidize and it doesn't settle into lines or pores

- Sephora User

my last favorite was jose maran's argan oil foundation that goes on one color and then changes to match your skin's tone

- Sephora User

so it's very difficult to find a mattifying foundation that doesn't accentuate fine lines and wrinkles

- Sephora User

somehow it pleases my simultaneously combination/sensitive skin by providing moisture where needed and mattifying where needed

- Beauty User

color correction

color correcting

i use it over smashbox color correcting primer (the green one) and it's my go to for every day

- Sephora User

i use this in combination with the tarte color corrector

- Sephora User

it blends beautifully and it sets beautifully to a semi-matte/semi-satin finish

medium coverage

i used this bb tinted moisturizer; i did not have a single hint of oily shine on my face at the end of the day, no caking, blurred my imperfections, and made my skin look so soft and 'no makeup' look; gave me light-medium coverage (subtleness;no makeup look) which i prefer over full coverage

- Ulta User

this gives me the same medium coverage, it's very translucent, but my stubborn dark circles are covered and it looks natural, not caked on

Exactly what I was looking for. Backstory- I used to wear full coverage ALL the time. It was all or nothing. Lately I've been going all natural but I've been wanting to have just a little something for some coverage for special events. I have combo skin that's sometimes pretty dry and often kinda oily in some areas. I also have some pretty bad acne scarring, uneven skin tone in general with redness around my nose and cheeks. I finally got to really test this product to the limit today. I applied it with a smaller synthetic buffing brush. I usually use a sponge but since this is already on the sheer side of coverage I went with the brush. It blends like a DREAM. I used 2 large dots and 2 small dots, not a lot of product is necessary. It blended like a DREAM. I used it over top of the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea hydrating mist after it dried a little, no other primer. Only complaint is I got the wrong shade, my error. It gave me a nice sheer coverage that looked like a "second skin". It wasn't flawless, you could still see some of my darker scars, so I spot concealed those. I had a beautiful natural looking glow that I've always hoped for but couldn't achieve with cakey, heavy foundation. I didn't even set anything because I wanted to see how it wore. Used the Tarte Aquacealer under my eyes and to spot conceal. I wore this foundation for 8 hours, and it still looked good, even in 90 degree heat, sweating, playing with my toddler. It rubbed off a little but it wore off really nicely and didn't look patchy, streaky or anything. No creasing, crackling or settling. I had to touch up around my oiliest area -- my nose... but it didn't look bad it just started to feel greasy. I will set around that area and under my eyes with powder in the future but honestly if you're on the drier side you might not even need to! Amazing product, far exceeded my expectations. And I'm SO glad it's a vegan, cruelty free product! « less

Natural product, but at an unnatural-looking cost

I am someone who believes strongly in the correlation between the health of one's skin and the products one puts on it. I try to use the most natural products possible while still choosing ones that work as well as (or better than!) their chemically-laden counterparts. I really wanted to try the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer because of all the positive reviews, but once I was in the store I opted for this product since it's more "natural". It's an okay product, though I definitely did not get the result I was hoping for. It seems to have a chalky consistency and just sits on my skin, making it look dry and flaky when in reality I have very oily skin that's certainly not lacking in the "hydration" department. I chose Agent 08 because that was the closest shade to my skin, but it still isn't close enough. That's the great battle with a tinted moisturizer: finding something with enough color to actually make skin appear more even and smoother, but also finding something sheer enough that looks natural and not cakey. This does not fit the bill. I didn't realize how cakey this product actually is until one day my boyfriend and I went for the walk while staying in Paris. Once we got outside he exclaimed, "I didn't even notice you put on makeup this morning!" When I told him I wasn't wearing anything, he said it looked like I have an awful mask of powder on that didn't match my skin tone. I checked a mirror and realized it was this moisturizer, and he was was so unnatural looking! Next time, I'll opt for a product that might not be as "natural" (chemically-wise) but actually works. « less

I've used plenty of tinted moisturizers and never wanted to use them again since my skin is flawed (acne scars, ongoing acne, sun spots) and everything would show through. So I've been using MUFE HD foundation for a while, realizing no matter how sparingly I put the foundation on my face, I still look fake and make up would just melt off my face after a few hours due to my oily skin. It's also been incredibly hot lately (constantly over 100 degrees in Virginia, which is rather uncommon) and HD foundation did not stay on my face at all. Then I found out about this product and I was extremely skeptical since it was yet another tinted moisturizer with good reviews. I am an eastern Asian with tanned skin so I purchased Agent 10. When I first applied it to my face, it looked really, really light. I was not happy that I selected a wrong shade but then after a while, the color got deeper and became what I expected. I was glad it matched my tone perfectly after a bit and though sheer, it is not as sheer as the tinted moisturizers I've used in the past. It is also buildable so you can get more coverage. It actually covers my acne and uneven skin pretty well and it feels clean and light, unlike HD foundation which I felt was heavy. It does have a little bit of glowy characteristic but I set it with MUFE super matte powder anyway because of my oily skin. With the combination, my face looks REALLY good and I was shocked to see myself in front of a mirror under fluorescent light. It's the first time I've ever felt so pretty. It holds really well for hours and has not melted off my oily face or under 105F degree pure heat. Another quality I enjoy greatly is that I did not realize MUFE HD foundation caused my jawline acne. After I've switched to this foundation, my skin has been calming down and acne is starting to disappear. I am a firm believer in this product now. I don't say it lightly. « less

amazing product that lives up to all the hype

I had been using the Too Faced Amazing Face liquid foundation (which I absolutely love) but I was looking for something a little lighter. I don't like wearing makeup every day but sometimes I just want something light and the Too Faced foundation was way to heavy for these days. I was also looking for a product that was good quality and contained good ingredients. I tried this and the Josie Maran tinted moisturizer. The Josie Maran was a little duller coverage but it settled into the lines around my nose and under my eyes. Mind you that i'm 21 and don't really have deep lines around there. I tried this Tarte moisturizer for maybe 2 weeks before buying it. I got samples in two colors so it lasted me a while. I absolutely love the finish. I usually apply my moisturizer and apply this right after so that dewey look stays for a long time. I have also tried to apply without moisturizer or once my moisturizer dried but in this case, the dewiness of the product wasn't very pronounced and I found I needed to use more product for it to blend nicely. I love that this TM has a buildable coverage because I like to wear a second layer on my jaw line and around my nose. In regards to staying power, I have been fairly pleased. It doesn't stay all day but I didn't expect that it would. I'll apply it in the morning around 8am and it'll be good for maybe 4-5 hours. I find that I lean on my hand in class so it wears of around my chin/jawline area. Since I wanted a light coverage foundation, I don't really notice the staying power since its like my skin. The finish is beautiful, it doesn't oxidize and it doesn't settle into lines or pores. My skin likes it :) « less

Amazing! I love this product— I wish I started using it sooner. It blends really well and isn’t heavy. It smoothed my face, gave light coverage, and hydrated my skin!

I’m looking for a tinted moisturizer or something similar (that gives off natural matte finish) for combo skin? I’m usually oily in my tzone. Don’t need a heavy foundation w full coverage, light coverage can also be good. #sos #foundation

What is a light coverage foundation/bb cream/tinted moisturizer that is good for combo skin?? Specifically, my T-zone is oily but my nose tends to be pretty dry. I’d like something that evens out the skin but isn’t thick or heavy like regular foundation! Affordable is the preferred 💕

What’s everyone’s favorite BB CREAM and/or tinted moisturizer? I have combination skin and it can be sensitive at times. I like a light weight and natural look!!

I like this product because my face doesn’t feel oily at the end of the day and it gives my face a natural glow without looking to cakey or unnatural
