Clinique fit is amazing! And it’s super sweat proof! When in doubt always use a setting spray! The one from Lancôme is the only one that really locks it all in! Try that! For whatever reason, they only have the mascara on here, but that is the name of the foundation^ Cliniquefit

I put this on my oily spots when I know it needs to be long lasting. I’ve never had any issues with this always keeps me in place until it’s ready to come off.

Okay I need help. So I play basketball & recently I’ve been breaking out pretty badly.. so of course I changed up my skin care routine & now whenever I wipe the sweat off my face during practice, my face burns. Does this mean that the product I’m using is not good or is it just my face adjusting to the new products ? Please help ):

I would recommend switching to a brand made for sensitive skin like the brand Simple. Try using their face wipes after you sweat before you get to wash :)

Ya girl over here needs help with my eyeshadow I don’t usually wear eyeshadow because I live in Arizona and summertime kills my makeup especially my eyes. Cause I tend to sweat underneath or sometimes around my eyes 👀. And I also think I have a type of eyelid that causes my eyeshadow to not be able to be see as great as normal eyelids. I think it’s called hooded eyelids and thank fully if I can still find them I found some videos that show how to get ur eyes to look better. But I don’t know where to start. First and foremost I don’t have money for anything expensive but could possibly splurge on a good item. If needed. I have green eyes 👀 that change colors sometimes and i dont know what shades would make my eyes look really nice and pop. And not sure with brushes or eyeshadow primers if that’s even what you call em haha 😂 ladies please feel free to give me any advice on eyeshadow or makeup in general cause I still would consider myself to be a newbie to the makeup world. I’m in desperate need of some help with this lol and I’ll only be able for the most part to buy products offline so give me any good tip y’all have I’d greatly appreciate it thanks so much 🔎🔎🆘💃🏼✨💁🏼‍♀️💅🏻🍀💄🙏🏼🤞🏼👗👠👜🕶🐛🦋🎯

Hi there! Warm browns look great with green eyes. A very affordable brown palette would be from Morphe and you can find those at the store Ulta. There’s almost ALWAYS coupons for Ulta going around so I recommend printing some out or just showing it on you phone (with scan bar) since you can only go in store. Good but affordable brushes that I love are from JessUp but those are online only. Another cheaper alternative are wet n wild and those you can find in drug stores! When holding brushes always hold then from the end and never close to the bristles. For eyeshadow I don’t use eyeshadow primer (I have hooded lids, too) I use a lighter concealer which also saves money by multipurposing your products. I apply a thin layer and don’t set it then start shadow from the darkest color to the lightest. Since you are a beginner I’d recommend setting the concealer with a light beige shadow then start with the lightest color first, it’ll be easier for you to get a smoother blend. Cut creases always are the best for hooded eyes, but since you’re a beginner I would hold off until you’ve had practice. (watch videos specifically for cutting the crease with hooded eyes!!) If you have any more questions, I’d love to answer them!

I need help finding the right foundation for my skin. I sweat more then a normal person should because I have some health problems that cause heat flashes and my skin gets oily. By the end of an 8 hour work day it looks like I didn’t even do my makeup. So if anyone has a good medium to full coverage foundation liquid or powder that can stay on my face, and maybe a setting spray let me know. I’ve tried The all nighter setting spray and it doesn’t work for me. Help! #oilyskin #sweatyface #breakouts #ineedhelp #help #advice

You can also try the tarte Amazonian clay full coverage foundation. I have that same problem as well that seems to me to be the only foundation that works for me.

I've never really used a foundation (just a concealer on my t zone and under my eyes). I've got super clear skin and an even skin tone so I've never seen the point. I recently asked what I could to to help creasing and rubbing/sweating off or splotchiness (nyx pore primer, Tarte shape tape, airspun powder, urban decay setting spray.) Someone suggested I start using foundation, would this actually help if so what is your HG for combination skin that won't sweat off?

hi! so I think if you have good skin you should avoid foundation. But if you would like to use it, I would recommend a BB cream or CC cream instead. These have better ingredients than foundations but are not that high in coverage that being said, if you have good skin you won’t need crazy full coverage. I use the maybelline dream BB cream everyday and I love it! Not to pricey either.

I've been using Tarte shape tape and Coty airspun powder for years (no foundation) . I've recently noticed that even with primers, baking and setting spray I get splotchiness and creasing. I also sweat off my makeup very easily! Could it be the powder? I've been curious about switching to Laura Mercier but the price on airspun is fantastic. Any advice?

I recommend a really good primer- the milk hydro grip is really good at making your foundation last. Then use the Laura Mercier powder, this should help good luck!

Okay send help. I have to be outside for work and I sweat which isn’t the worst, but I also have combo/dry skin. I tried the Marc Jacobs foundation tonight and hated it. It immediately flakes and patched. I moisturized before, and used my Mac prep and set, which is normally bomb. I used setting powder too. Anyone have any suggestions? I’m pretty sure it was just the foundation, but who knows. I’m trying the fenty foundation next. Any help would be appreciated!

So I am a housekeeper... and that means I SWEAT CONSTANTLY. I have tried so many liquid foundations lately and just in the first 2 hours of working I look god awful already like my makeup and my skin looks lifeless and wrinkled and makeup is drying on my face or sweated off, making it look patchy and discolored in diff areas it’s just awful looking. Idk what to do/what to use etc but I need whatever I makeup I put on my face in the mornings to stay put all day and the foundation I use to not start getting flaky cakey or just come off every time I start sweating... PLEASE HELP!!

Keep experimenting with your primers and foundations. If the primer is water based, the foundation should be too. If it’s silicone based, the foundation should be too. I don’t recommend silicone based primers/foundations for you because it can make your foundation slide around. Also, a more mattifying foundation would probably be good since you’re sweating ... but I know that can be hard since you have dry skin like me. Less is more. Use less foundation, set it lightly with a setting powder, and then use this Urban Decay All-Nighter Setting Spray. That should help A LOT to keep your makeup looking nice even through sweating. Also, look up some YouTube videos. There’s a bunch out there to help with sweating and people who live in hot/humid places. I hope this helps!

@Miranda Lane You’re welcome. And yeah I would go with water based on both. Your primer should feel hydrating and even a little sticky/tacky so your foundation will really grip/stick to your face 👍🏻

Makeup ideas I have combination skin and I work in a restaurant and I’ve found that no mater what primer, setting powder, and setting spray I use my make up ends up looking cakey or shiny or I just sweat it off. Any ideas from foundation to eyeshadow to setting powder to even a good lipgloss?

This foundation lasts All Day! I don’t even wear a primer, just a good moisturizer and slap this on, I worked in childcare, it got busy with 10 kids, I ran, played, danced, cleaned, sometimes I helped in the center’s kitchen and by the end of the day my face was still intact
