Help! I’ve been wanting to get into makeup, but I don’t want to go to crazy, I just want to get simple basic stuff like concealer, foundation and powder. What would be the best, but cheapest foundation that doesn’t crease and pretty much stays on for a few hours. I want to stay within a 10 dollar price range.😊

I think this is a good foundation to start out with, it also comes in a dewy finish depending on your preference, and you can get it for less than $6 at Walmart.

Has anyone use Panoxyl 10% face wash ? I been using it for 4weeks now morning and night and my face is peeling, irritated and hurts. Should I stop or only use once a day ? #acne #help #advice #skincare

I used to use stuff like that and everything did that to me so I had to stop. The peeling lasted a while but then I switched to more gentle cleansers and my face stayed under control. The Cetaphil and the Simple Moisturizing Facial Wash are ones that have worked for me. I usually follow those with a water based moisturizer.

Looking for a good concealer... I’ve been using shape tape for months now and I’ve had enough of the creasing and separation it causes. I use MAC studio fix foundation which has been fine for me, so would a MAC concealer be a good choice? #concealer #combinationskin

Who here has started a 10 step K-Beauty Regimen? Love it or hate it? Recommend your fave products, please. Like what even is Essence?

K-beauty is great. But the “10 step” idea is more likely harmful than helpful for your skin since you are likely to over expose you skin to harmful ingredients :/ I included a link to a video where Hyram helps explain it but I’ll sum up what he said too. When you would normally get X amount of a vitamin/ingredient in one product and that is fine but if you multiply it across several products...you see what I mean? Often the main irritant from that sort of process is fragrance. Which if you didn’t know, companies don’t have to tell you what ingredients make up the label “fragrance”. Having a routine is good but toners, essences, and face masks can all often address the same issues in one product. 10 steps is overkill. Save your money and stick with something that’s more like 4 to 6 things(?) my not an expert guess haha. Anyways! My favorite Korean brands are iUNIK and Purito. They have great skincare with some fragrance free options. Hope that helps! :)

Hey I’m trying to go for the 10 step Korean sink care routine but need help finding som products for my skin. I have dry skin, sensitive skin but I have never had any major breakouts. I really want to achieve the “glass skin” look. I am looking for a: 1. Oil cleanser 2. Water base cleanser 3. Exfoliator 4. Toner 5. Essence 6. Serum 7. Face mask 8. Eye cream 9. Moisturizer 10. Sunscreen I would hope that everything would total up to around 125$ if that is possible. #advice

This and Clinique Even Better Foundation are two of my personal favorites, the Too Faced has more coverage but they both have pretty finishes and work really well with my dry skin. And I recently got e.l.f.’s new Halo Glow Setting Powder and I’m liking it so far, it’s really smooth and blurring and doesn’t look cakey or dry at all.

What are your thoughts on Colourpop makeup products? Specifically the foundation stick - is it worth the $10 + shipping? Or should I stick with a cheaper drugstore alternative? I’m also interested in the concealer. Your input is appreciated! :)

I really enjoyed using the foundation sticks for contouring and it blends very well. Their concealer is amazing it’s pretty full coverage and a little goes a long way. It’s definitely worth it.

I just recently have been able to start wearing makeup again after almost 10 months. Needless to say I threw out most of what I had due to age. I've been able to rebuild everything but mascara! What is your favorite budget friendly waterproof voluminous mascara?

Creasing concealer?? So I have tried about 10 million concealers and a million more ways of setting my concealer and no matter what my under eyes always end up creasing really bad and being super dry. Any concealer or technique recommendations?

It could also be the amount of concealer you apply and the way you apply it. I started applying concealer with a flat concealer brush and built the product up rather than doing the full “triangle” most influencers do. Set it with Laura mercier, and it creased way less than it normally did. Idk, just something I’ve noticed

Textured skin:( Hi y’all! Love this app btw. Today I purchased smash box latest foundation called studio skin full coverage. It’s amazing don’t get me wrong but skin is badly textured and it just make me look cakey. It last all day. Do you guys recommend anyway primers that can help with out? Also my pores were so noticeable. I use Kylie cosmetics primer. This why I can’t find a good foundation, because mostly of the time full coverage is matte which my skin looks more cakey. I’m a mess lol

I love this one! Also make sure you pair your foundation w a primer of the same base ex. water based primer w water based foundation, etc. This will help w cakiness!

so both sides of my face are basically complete opposites. on my left side i have a lot of red dark spots and some texture and on my right i have some light dark spots but around my chin and jaw line i have developed some texture and just bumps. i want to use products that will help with hyperpigmentation and acne scars. i want an even skin tone but i have no idea what to buy and don’t want to blow my money on products that won’t work. i currently use the Biore charoal face wash and witch hazel and the ordinary niacinamide 10% and zinc 1% serum. please help and give some opinions on what i should use!

@Mariana Huerta Mhmm one of two things. Long term, this is quite helpful finding a YouTuber who is the same shade as you. Easier easy is to go into ultra, ask for your match & get a sample, you can try it out at home & see. Also, you know your Mac color you can use the website findation.com it’s so HELPFUL!
