staying power

longlasting

easy to blend and lasts all day

- Sephora User

it’s super creamy and just adds really nice dimension to the face and lasts all day without problems

- Sephora User

blendability

blends well

this contour kit is so easy to blend and it's very lightweight and it's perfect for everyday because it's natural looking and the colors are just right

- Sephora User

these are amazing, so blend-able and creamy

- Sephora User

texture

smooth

yes it's a bit on the pricey side but it is well worth it i still use it till this day and it lookes amazing on the skin just blends in smoothly and give you a beautiful deep contour or even a light hand touch of brightening under the eyes

- Beautyboutique User

it really does the job, and love the creamy texture

- Beautyboutique User

consistency

chalky

i really loved the creamy texture, but i don't like the highlighter isn't pigmented enough it's really greasy, creased really bad under my eyes, even after setting powder

- Ulta User

i wish the product would have came with different contour shades, & a not so thick consistency

- Sephora User

weight

heavy

super hard to blend, the contour shade is very orange and it gets cakey very fast

- Sephora User

it made my makeup look heavy and caked on

- Sephora User

pigmentation

sheer

perfect for contouring it is very rich in color but sheers out nice

- Ulta User

but i think once i sheer it out it will make a nice glow or it could be a very subtle color corrector for under eye dark circles for light skin tone

Hands down BEST contouring product!

I absolutely LOVE this product. I have tried the TARTE contouring stick (which I still love) but this palette is perfect for on the go, or quick contouring. The creamy texture is so lightweight and super blendable. It makes contouring quicker and easier, and I love the brush that is made for it as well. I highly recommend this product along with the brush. I was so excited for this product to launch, and now that I have it, I won't use any other contouring products!

nice

I'm gonna try to write a helpful review. as usual the internet pictures of the colors are incorrect. the light has a pretty highlight shade with the yellow bsse. The contour side is orange! it looks like a light brown in the pan but as soon as I put it on my light/medium, cool undertone skin it turned orange. The medium actually has a very nice cool toned taupe! Perfect for contouring it is very rich in color but sheers out nice. the highlight shade is a little on the pink side. But I think once I sheer it out it will make a nice glow or it could be a very subtle color corrector for under eye dark circles for light skin tone. I only looked at the deep i did not swatch it is a very dark brown and a dark peach. this is a gorgeous product so creamy and very easy to blend. And you get a whole lot of product in this compact. And yes its a real compact no cardboard so it would be great to travel with. It's very sturdy plastic and has a mirror that is the entire size of the compactIts about the size of the new urban decay pressed powders. if you're still not sure about the color definitely go into the store because unfortunately you have to choose l if you want a good contour or a good highlight because I would have preferred the yellow based highlighter but I don't want an orange contour. I think the consistency of the cream is going to be personal preference it is a little thick but like I have already said it will sheer out beautifully. definitely use a light hand actually I would apply it to the face with a finger then blend with a brush. And it does come with a small how to guide. I hope this is helpful to someone I was not able to find any information about this because it is so new and none of the other reviews really gave any information at all. Less

Holy grail.

I bought it on a whim, as I swatched it and fell in love with the color. Not orange, not too grey or muddy, just right for my light/medium skin tone. When I apply it with a synthetic foundation brush, it was quite pigmented. A little goes a long way, as I've found myself getting carried away every now and then with the contour. I usually blend it with the real techniques buffer brush, then I set it with a bronzer or contour powder. Keep in mind that most cream products have to be set in place in order for it to last all day. In terms of staying power, it lasts all day for me since I set it with powder and use a setting spray. You can get away with the Hard Candy setting spray and expect it to last almost as long as an UD setting spray. As for the highlight side, I'm a bit disappointed that it isn't yellow toned. It leans more on the pink salmon toned side. However, i repurposed this side to act as an undereye and darkness corrector. For that purpose, it works just fine. Highly recommend. It's an underrated product, and truthfully it lasts a while as I've had it for months now and I barely made a dip in it. « less

the worst

I was really disappointed in this country reduction after hearing really good things about it. The thick consistency makes it hard to blend. I've tried to blend the highlight & contour with a beauty blender & contour brush, neither were successful. I found the contour shade was too dark, as the only option is a highlight & contour in the palette even so mixing the highlight to contour to create a lighter shade of doesn't doesn't even help. I wish the product would have came with different contour shades, & a not so thick consistency. I really don't like it, but I've been sticking through with this product because I don't want to waste the product as it wasn't the cheapest. One good thing for sure though with this product is that a little goes a long way.

review for the light shade

I got this the very same week I got the new Anastasia Cream Contour kit so I can compare those a little bit. These Stila creams are sooo nice and creamy and blendable. The highlight shade is a nice, natural color on my NW20 skin. It could be lighter to give a more contrasting look, but it is really natural and pretty. The contour shade blends so well, but it's a little warm. Like a cream bronzer. It's easy to sheer out and make it look really pretty! I wish it was this consistency but the shade of Becca lowlight. However, unlike the Anastasia cream palette it's not TOO warm. None of the contour shades in the Anastasia cream palette (shade light) work for me. They're just too orange. But I am keeping the Anastasia one because I love the highlight colors! I apply the Stila products, and then dab the Becca highlight shades on top with my beauty blender for a little more contrast. The rest of the colors in the Anastasia Cream contour kit (besides the darkest shade, cinnamon I think?) I am able to use in some form. The pink shade is a good brightener and cream blush and the nude shades are nice cream blushes as well! On the coverage, it's a really pretty light to medium coverage. I personally don't prefer heavy coverage products, I'm more of a BB cream kind of girl and this Stila one has just replaced my foundation. I am going to get this in the Medium shade too because that contour color looks better! Like all the YouTube reviews say, the Anastasia palette is drier, so I mix in oil. It also provides more coverage but not too much. I was initially worried about it looking like stage makeup or something, but it doesn't! :) it is easy to pile on and then it starts to look heavy. The Stila one is much easier to use in my opinion. Hope this helps!

I need a new cool-toned/neutral cream contour product to play with! I use this Stila one but I’m always open to options!

I want to experiment with a cream contour as I can’t get powders to have the affect I’m looking for. Any suggestions? Also I am SO horrible with shades so if you have any suggestions there too please 🥺

For cream contour use a cool toned cream. Wet n Wild has a contour stick that is surprisingly cool-toned for how warm the packaging looks! I use the Stila duo cream if you want something higher end. Make sure to start with a small amount of product and not blend it out too far! Also set with a cool-toned bronzer for more lasting power!
