So my foundation does something weird on me and I’ve tried several different types. About halfway through the day my nose starts to crack and peel, but just my nose. The rest of my foundation is fine. I’ve been exfoliating more on my nose in recent weeks to try to see if it’s just dry skin. any suggestions as to why it might do this or what I could do to stop it?
So the Lock-it foundation I use for formal events, Or times where I know I’m going to need a full coverage to stay on for a really long time.
And the naked skin, and the shape tape foundation’s are my every day.
And I use shape tape concealer, Smashbox oil primer, and Laura Mercier for my powder.
i need a primer that doesn't make my skin greasier than it already is! i have the smashbox photo finish primer but it makes my skin literally feel slimy. i also would love it to be pore minimizing, and preferably on the cheaper side. i know i'm asking for a lot but anything would be helpful! #oilyskin #primer
I’ve tried waterproof eyeliner on my waterline and it still seems to run. I have very oily skin. I’ve tried Smashbox, Marc Jacobs, Toofaced, YSL and even drugstore brands and nothing works. Any suggestions?
What is a good primer for pores and oily skin. I know to use a silicone base primer and foundation. But i like a full coverage base. Any recommendations?
-my main area issue is around my mouth, and chin.
My current foundation and concealer is from Juvias Place.
Ive tired the benefit porefessional, smashbox photofinish primer, baby skin from maybelline and hardcandy pore-defense.
I’ve been having a very hard time with the oiliness on my forehead and nose area especially at work. Also, my pores have become so visible lately. My foundation ends up caking on my face too. I need help/suggestions. Here’s my skin and routine:
I have combination skin. Dry patches below cheeks and jawline and very oily forehead and nose area. I also have large pores on nose and cheeks. I wash my face with Neutrogena Hydro Boost (light exfoliator with hylauronic acid) twice a day. After, I use Thayer’s witch hazel toner. I usually finish with Kiehls Ultra facial cream. I also have been exfoliating two times a week with L’Oréal PureSugar scrub in nourish and smooth. To add, I also do a clay mask about once every 2 weeks.
I have added rosehip oil and hylauronic acid from the Ordinary to help with moisturizing because I heard that I get so oily because I’m actually dry.
For foundation, lately I have been using Smashbox Studio Skin Foundation. I don’t even put it on my forehead because it creases in my fine lines. The only thing I put on my forehead is setting powder.
How can I help my oiliness, large pores and foundation cakiness? .. I thought I covered the bases with moisturizing, exfoliating, etc. I’m out of ideas. Thanks.
Foundation For Smile Lines
I have TERRIBLE smile lines! I have no other wrinkles on my skin, but unfortunately the smile lines are hereditary:/ I have tried the Beauty Blender foundation, Maybeline Fit Me, Smashbox Photo Finish, Tarte Shape Tape Foundation, and many others, and they all make my smile lines look so bad! PLZ HELP!!
Any suggestions for tinted sunscreen? Has anyone tried smashbox cc cream?
Does anyone know a good primer for dry sensitive skin? In the past I’ve really liked Smashbox photo finish primer because it’s a like wall between my makeup and my skin but in the winter my skin tends to get dry and patchy and the photo finish one can slide around on top of my thicker winter lotion. Plz help I need some good recommendations💕
This was a steal at marshals!!! I love smashbox eyeshadows
