Don't buy

I bought this because I've been wanting to try Korean skincare products but this product is horrible. I have very oily skin and the first day I put this on it started burning my face. Later on my face appeared red and when I took it off my face still felt like it was burning a little. The next day my face was so dry that my nose had little flakes of skin falling off. I don't think it was a chemical reaction because I didn't break out but it really dries out my skin and not in a mattifying way.

Borderline HG Status

This serum is so fantastic for my combo, slightly oily, acne prone skin. While it does contain denatured alcohol, which is a problem for some individuals, keep in mind that the alcohol listed is the sake portion. I absolutely adore the smell of this entire line; it smells like a freshly cut peach. While the scent is strong when you first apply, it disappears within just a minute or two. This serum is a perfect step to use in any routine. I leaves a very soft, almost velvety or powder like finish that is great as a primer for sunscreen or makeup. It helps to minimize my pores and control my oil. It moisturizes just enough to leave your skin feeling fresh without leaving you oily. I've been wearing this product for 5 hours now and my forehead isn't even starting to show signs of oliness yet. Usually by about 4 hours into my day I am needing to blot my t-zone. This in combination with the matching toner and emulsion has also helped flatten some angry, red, acne spots on my chin caused by a bad reaction to another brand's products. Overall, if I were to recommend any of the products from this line, I would have to recommend this one. It is so fantastic.

BEST PRODUCT FOR OILY SKIN EVER! It literally controls the oil on your skin for the whole day and works so incredibly well. I can see a visible difference in my pores after using it immediately, and it has helped reduce my acne!

Everything far exceeded my expectations

I purchased the tea tree emulsion, peach sake pore serum, and black sugar mask and everything has worked out really wonderfully. I am trying out a new skin care routine to combat my stubborn acne and large pores and all of these products worked almost immediately. I think I finally have a routine that is going to work for me for the foreseeable future! The tea tree emulsion is lighter and absorbs into my skin faster than the other tea tree face lotion I had been using. On application, it tingles a little, but certainly doesn't burn like my last lotion. I've noticed my acne has subsided and my skin feels soft after use.The peach sake serum is probably my favorite out of the three things I bought from Skinfood. The smell is delightful and the bottle that it comes in is frosted glass which looks very nice on my bathroom counter. This serum absorbs quickly and has smoothed out my face noticeably. There is a hint of pearlescent shimmer in this serum, which made me a little worried at first because how my face has reacted to other similarly glittery serums in the past, but I've had no problems so far, and you can't really tell that there's shimmer on your face. The black skin scrub I've used about three times now and it's makes my face brighter and softer after using it. I only use it about once a week as a pick me up for my face. Less

Sensitive Skin

I need a recommendation for a serum or treatment of some kind that reduces the appearance of pores. I use quite a few products on my skin but nothing has helped with my pores. I have normal skin. It’s not oily. No acne. I’m 37 but no wrinkles yet because I started young on skincare to fight wrinkles. Just large pores on my cheeks near my nose. Foundation really accentuates them. No drugstore brand recommendations please but I also can’t afford something that costs $75 or more. I’m looking for something in the middle with price range. I like brands Dr Brandt, Bioelements, Dermalogica, BareMinerals, Mario Badescu to name a few for skin care. I also like Korean products. Please help me! I’m desperate!
