Since launching in beta last October, MIRA BEAUTY guests have had two destinations to find the right skincare and makeup products for them: our website and the iOS app. Our guests love to explore products on the app, but we know they would like an easier way to shop without having to leave MIRA BEAUTY for other websites. Imagine making one stop at Sephora, one stop at Ulta, and another one at Target in the same day for all the beauty products you need. That would get really old... real quick.

We are excited to announce that we are unifying our app and website under one destination. Now, guests can access everything the world of beauty has to offer in one, clear, personalized experience — mirabeauty.com. And we got a glow-up ourselves with a new look that represents the diversity of our guests.

Here's what the updated MIRA BEAUTY website offers:

  • A swift and highly intuitive search experience to help guests explore, find, and compare beauty products for their unique features, needs, and preferences.
  • A universal assortment of over 3,000 beauty brands and 100,000 products and tools.
  • A collaborative library of real, authentic product reviews... more than 8 million!
  • A convenient and nimble checkout interface.

Think about this … whether you are looking for a Sephora new arrival, or an Ulta best-seller, this means you can now shop it all in one place. Without worrying about where the product is being sold, you can shop the top-rated cleanser for your friend with dry skin, along with the best vegan foundation with buildable coverage for you — based on the millions of reviews we have. You can sift through thousands and thousands of items on mirabeauty.com in a way that isn't overwhelming anymore.

Additionally, we are bringing the app's favorites to our website, including the country’s largest assortment of vegan, recyclable, and cruelty-free cosmetics. And our flagship Black Founder category, which hosts the largest collection of makeup and skincare products created by Black entrepreneurs.

Our goal is to create a social and content-rich beauty discovery platform for our guests, and we're also rolling out a new editorial section called The Foundation.

Shopping

There’s more. We’ve added a new checkout experience to mirabeauty.com, so guests can easily shop all the products they find at once. Previously, guests had to leave our website to purchase a product.

The iOS app will be removed from the App Store and closed in phases, so some users get to say goodbye. Since October 2019, MIRA BEAUTY has grown into a wonderfully diverse and supportive community, where guests help one another with real, genuine product recommendations. Our website will continue to be a home for them, away from inauthentic reviews and aggrandized claims. And with all the great features of the app being added to the main mirabeauty.com, we will ultimately be deactivating the iOS app.

We know our guests want to shop MIRA in ways that help them save time and money, and align with their values and identity. We’re excited for the simplified shopping experience mirabeauty.com will create for them, and we look forward to introducing more exciting features throughout the holiday season.
