Great product...

Sephora has made another great new product. This lip gloss comes in a fairly large tube for only $14 so I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth out of it. It is shiny, lightweight, not overly sticky and comes in a massive variety of colors to choose from—26 different shades to be exact—it’s pretty much everything I expect out of a lip gloss. I bought “Sparkly Black Energy (#27)” and it is a gorgeous shade of sheer dark purple with a shimmery finish. It works great worn alone or over other lipsticks, too. It is moisturizing and fairly long lasting. It also has a nice applicator that makes application easy and precise. It is comparable to a lot of other high-priced brands I’ve used. I would definitely recommend giving this lip gloss a try.

I ordered the Vintage Pink one online expecting it to be a nice, lightweight, shiny lip gloss. Nope. It is super heavy and sticky, and the awkward applicator made applying it difficult. Did not spread evenly, and kind of bunched up on itself. I think the worst part is the smell, though. Smells don't usually bother me at all, but this smelled like slightly fruity cheap plastic makeup from the dollar store. Pigmentation was ok, but I was expecting more of a nude-pink, and got orange-pink instead. May have just been my skin tone, though (light/beige, BH/BE).Not a fan. Will be returning.

Have several colors, and want more!

I really like these glosses! I have used one completely up and have three in rotation still. They are all very smooth and silky, the glitter ones do not feel gritty. The formula is very moisturizing and I have not noticed any flavor(though other reviews say it does), maybe a slight fragrance but also not noticeable to me. I love the applicator.Reflex black energy- looks very dark purple in the tube, but is a sheer smoky violet when applied. My favorite!Reflex so electric- sheer pink with hot pink glitter. I think it is very true to it's appearance in the tube. This was my first of these glosses and I've used it all up since December.Golden scarlet- More peachy than red, I think. Mostly from the gold glitter. This one is pretty saturated with glitter, so it isn't my favorite because it doesn't look as nice when you reapply it throughout the day as it does the firs time you put it on, the glitter can get caked and is overpowering.Red fizz- A really nice red gloss with red glitter. It gives a good red lip look without being as dramatic as a lipstick. It wears off/fades very evenly as the day goes on, so you don't get an uneven/smudgy/streaky look and is very easy to reapply.Shiny the red- WOW! Very, very red and very, very shiny. It is super saturated, I do not recommend applying it without a mirror. It's a beautiful gloss with some serious staying power. I find it to calm down a bit after it's first applied and it looks good for a few hours. Less

Ooohhh sparkles

these really surprised me I didn't think I would like them. each one does have color shift sparkles. the glitter is fine enough that it does not feel chunky or gritty on your lips. The base color of the gloss is sheer but the shift is really strong. The only shade that does have a little color is 03 princess. I'm going to try my best to describe each color. 02 clear gloss with lavender shimmer. 03 dark pink gloss with pink purple shimmer. 04 beige almost clear gloss with gold shimmer. 05 pale pink almost clear gloss with pink shimmer. they all look good on their own but I definitely think that they would make awesome toppers. not too sticky and they are still smooth feeling despite the glitter. I definitely think I need all of them because it is too hard to choose just one. I'm attaching a photo it was difficult to capture the color shift. I did notice a very faint almost sweet vanilla when I first applied them but it quickly faded. I don't think it has a taste but I didn't eat it. the only downfall is the glitter does last for a long time even after the gloss is gone. It has been hours since I cleaned the swatches off my arm and I still have some glitter on me. it actually has some good staying power for gloss because I really had to put some effort into removing the swatches from my arm. these are going to be so fun for a night out or holiday party. you are definitely going to attract some attention. If you want subtle this is not for you. for some reason when I uploaded the photo it flipped so the colors are now left to right 2, 3, 4, 5. the store display is in the background with the corresponding tubes in the same order. please excuse the eyeliner swatches at the top of my hand those are the new diamond eyeliners and they are very pretty as well and they have staying power. « less

new lip gels. look out dior

The new lip gels really shocked me. seph has really stepped up their game. these are so similar to the new dior brilliance glosses. they both have the same buttery smooth non-sticky texture. the same microfine shimmer that translates onto the lips as a very high gloss shine. with indoor lighting it is a little difficult to even see the shimmer but when the light catches it it's just an amazing shine. the amount of pigment is going to depend on which color you pick of course the sheer colors will not have as much color. Deep rose, coral confession, & any of the coral/red colors really have some color. and of course the swatches on the website are very different from the product. deep rose I found to be very similar to dior Swan a mauve pink MLBB. Fresh pink has that iridescents like nars Orgasm. coral confession which is the color I bought is a gorgeous pink coral. it had excellent wear time of 3 to 4 hours as long as you kept drinking to a minimum. it did not accentuate the lines and was slightly hydrating to the lips. I think if you applied this to your lips and no one told you the difference you would think it was dior. Seph gels have a slight sweet scent that dissipates very quickly and there's no taste. I think these are a great alternative and definitely more affordable. The color range is bigger offering subtle choices to those that don't want a lot of color. Attaching a pic to compare consistency not color.

What are some of the best lipglosses? I like fenty and colourpop. Any good suggestions and shades?

I love the Sephora brand lip glosses, or Aisling Organics lip gloss is 021 if you want something with more natural ingredients!
