This is one of my most used brushes of all time because it's so versatile. I have used this to set my under eye area, apply highlight, and for subtle contour. It has held up through multiple washes, has never shed, and has a high-quality feel. Another thing I love is that it picks up product well-- I don't have to keep dipping or rubbing it into the powder pan to get product on the brush. I've used mine so much that I'm going back for another one!

Durability: Handle is very well constructed and no shedding of bristles. It is constructed of three main parts; bristles, wooden handle, and joining piece that may be metal. This kind of design historically has had issues falling apart, however this one is very sturdy. Even when trying to wiggle it, it wouldn't budge. It seems like it will hold up well. Use: Great for precise blush and contour placement and buff out. Also great for a soft blown out highlight. I also liked using it to set my under eye on days that I didn’t want to powder as heavily. Cleaning: This brush was very easy to wash with liquid soap in the palm of my hand or with a silicone scrub pad. It took 1 day for the brush to fully dry. The bristles completely retained their softness, shape, and fluffiness once dry. I love how easy it is to diffuse contour or bronzer with this brush. I was able to use all around my face and I really loved how I could easily move this brush around my temple/forehead area without getting too much product in that area. I am always a fan of a brush that has diverse purposes as well as does its initial purpose so well. I would absolutely recommend this brush. This brush was gifted to me from Sephora so that I may have the opportunity to leave a honest review. While it was a free gift I reviewed it as if I had paid full price.

I have 20+ Sephora brushes and have been pleased with them overall. I loved this one immediately due to tapered shape and density, I washed it as I normally do and there was this immediate odd chemical smell and black dye streaming off of it. I laid it out to dry and it lost all density and it now just seems like a normal brush. So incredibly disappointed.I have read other reviews and it sounds like there are other folks with the same problems.Not acceptable when I'm spending over $40 CAD.

I am a sucker for a high end makeup brush and this is definitely quality without the price! So soft on the skin and applies the perfect amount of product! Love this brush!!
