What are your favorite face primers, setting powders, and setting sprays? I currently use ELF primer (the yellow hydrating one and the one I included in this post) for my face. Lately it seems that no matter how much setting powder I use, everything just slides off my face at the end of the day. Please suggest something for me! #oilyskin #primers #settingpowder
Can someone tell me why I keep getting patchiness like this? I moisturize and use primer before my makeup. I used ColourPop’s hyaluronic tinted moisturizer as foundation and then used ColourPop’s hyaluronic concealer under my eye and that’s when it all got patchy. I wiped it off, used elf’s hydrating camo concealer and it was fine.
Is it my skin? Is it the technique? Is it the products? Help lol 😂
i’ve been wanting to start using bb/cc creams (maybe even tinted moisturizer) for lighter makeup instead of foundation. any recommendations? preferably drugstore (higher end works too if its really good)
Currently searching for products to use on my birthday and I need advice on primers, longwearing foundations, concealers and powders with no flashback. So far I’m interested in trying Charlotte Tilbury’s most recent foundation and the pressed powder. Any luxury recommendations that are worth the splurge and hold up on combo/oily skin? I struggle with a lot of shine mainly between my brows and around my nose :)
I don’t understand how women do their makeup and come out so flawless.. what’s the best full coverage foundation and baking powder for dry skin?? That wont make me look cakey😩🥺 also do we really need face primers?
Texture troubles! 😬
Hi everyone- I’ve having some issues with my face makeup looking cakey/textured when I’m in natural lighting- it looks fine when I’m in front of the mirror. I was excited to try the Elf luminous primer today thinking it would help smooth things over (and look glowy). But I’m not sure it really helped. I had not been using a primer before this since the Colourpop tinted moisturizer is water based more or less and I couldn’t find a water based smoothing primer. The texture was present when I wasn’t using a primer- it looked better when I used my hands to apply but I have been using a sponge more since I was worried using my hands would potentially cause acne.
Should I try:
Chemical exfoliation? (Any AHAs?)
A different primer? (Maybe the OG poreless putty?)
A different foundation? (I was hoping to make this tinted moisturizer work since I like lightweight, natural, and affordable products )
Maybe this is just how makeup up looks in natural light 🤣 Am I asking too much?
Let me know your tips for looking flawless! 💖 I appreciate it!
Any one know any good primers for oily skin?? Preferably drug store. Also what are some good foundations for oily skin that it’s full coverage? 🤗 #oilyskin #primers #foundation #mattee #drugstoremakeup
I need help finding a foundation or tinted moisturizer. My skin is very sensitive, dry, acne prone. Ive been using urban decays all nighter and it’s too Matte for my skin. It seems to dry it out even more and looks very cakey. I’ve had to do some major damage control using curology and my acne has cleared but I have to be diligent with my skincare. I just want either a foundation or a tinted moisturizer that’s light, hydrating but won’t cause a breakout.
What’s a really great dewy foundation? I use the maybelline urban cover but it settles weirdly. I just ordered the colourpop tinted moisturizer and I’m worried that it’ll do the same thing. I love the too faces born this way foundation but I can’t stomach the price
