So I’ve recently went vegan, and have noticed quite the change in my skin. I used to be quite oily/combination, but now for the most part I’m normal to dry. I get a tad bit oily, but nothing noticeable . I do have some mild acne (as you can see), and was wondering what kind of cruelty free and vegan foundations are out there that might work for me. So far I like the Cover FX Power Play foundation, and the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea foundation. Any recommendations?

Here’s one vegan foundation I heard is good. If you want all of your makeup and skincare products to be vegan too, you should checkout the that store called the body shop. You can find it in a mall, and all of their products are vegan!

Help! So I have really dry skin, have my whole life no matter how much I moisturize. I use Milani 2 in 1 concealer and foundation and I use two faced peach primer and sometimes I’ll switch it up and use wet and wild the dewy kind. My foundation keeps fading away or just becoming patchy and ugly. Any ideas why? Or recommendations??? I also use Tarte rainforest of the sea setting spray.

Make sure you're using a hydrating primer. I use the Nyx hydration touch primer. Also matte foundations are gonna be rougher on dry skin. I tried the IT Cosmetics Your Face but Better CC cream foundation and the formula is amazing but much too dark for my fair skin. The Maybelline Dewy + Smooth also works but the lightest shade I've found in stores is too dark for me. Lighter shades exist but only on their website 😞 currently I'm using the Revlon Colorstay foundation for Normal to Dry skin and it works pretty well. I use it with the Juno & Co microfiber sponge and Tarte Shape Tape hydrating concealer. Also a good moisturizer that I have found that works amazing with my dry skin is the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. I use that with a bit of Ponds moisturizer and it really helps my skin.

Foundations I have combination skin and I’ve been using NYX for quite awhile now but I’ve been wondering if other foundations would be better for me. I have quite a few products from Tarte and I really like them so I was thinking about trying the Rainforest of the Sea foundation but I was hoping to find something that doesn’t make my dry spots even more dry but also doesn’t make me oily, shiny, and breakout. I like a light to medium coverage in liquid form. Can someone help?
