it's not a lipgloss, it's a salve, but it's pigmented and perfect for any look; not to mention it smells great and moisturizes your lips very well with regular use

- Sephora User

i'm not big on heavy lip products or highly pigmented and it's perfect for literally every part of the day

This has become my go-to lip balm (thank you, Sephora checkout line)! I'm one of those people with chronically chapped lips who's become addicted to finding the perfect lip balm, and this has been my favorite since I started using it about a year ago. It stays on for hours (as long as you're not eating or something like that), the texture is smooth and not goopy, it makes your lips feel moisturized, the rose smell is light and comforting, and the packaging is so cute and classic. Do yourself a favor and buy five.

I have been searching for an everyday lip balm to keep my severely and chronically chapped lips from always being dry and peeling. No matter how many bottles of water I chug, my lips always seem to be chapped. Consequently, I could never pull off lip sticks, not to mention a matte one. When I bought this balm, initially I liked the non sticky consistency but as the day went on, I notices how much softer my lips were. After a few days of continual wear and drinking an adequate amount of water, my lips are no longer flakey with dead skin--they are smooth and ready for even a matte lip! Also, this tin is larger than your average sized one so it seems to be a good value for the amount and results. Plus, the ingredients seem to be more on the natural side. One tip: like most lip balms, it gets harder when exposed to the cold so you might need to warm it up by swirling your finger on the the product a little to get a nice, creamy texture again for easy application. I do not like using my finger for lip balms due to the fact that there's no where to was it off and plus hand are always touching dirty door knobs and such. The idea of putting those contaminated fingers in my balm is a little bit of a turn off so I decided to buy it in the tube form. I only tried it once so far but it seems to be the same. If I do use my finger for application, I rub the excess on the skin between my thumb and pointer finger (the driest place on my hands). Seems to work fine. I like to use a slightly thicker layer before bed to last the whole night. In the morning I wake up with soft lips.

not a fan

I really wanted to love this because I love thick lip products like this. As soon as I put it on my lips I noticed how incredibly strong the smell was, I wasn't to big of a fan of the heavy scent although that's not the worst. I found that after wearing this my lips were more dry and cracked than before I started wearing it. With this product, I would HIGHLY dis- encourage you from buying because it really just does the opposite of what it should

Essential- Just Get It!

I wasn't impressed at first, after reading all the reviews I expected something miraculous and it was just ordinary so I threw it in my purse and resolved to use it up. That's just it though, it's the PERFECT everyday lip balm. I've had it a few months, I use it 2-3 times a day and I've barely made a dent. It's petroleum jelly so it feels just like putting vaseline on your lips--it'll seem greasy if you're not used to it--but that gives shine and protection and it's definitely not sticky. The cottonseed oil softens your lips and is super effective at healing chapped lips (mine get chapped to the point of cracking and Rosebud Salve fixes them back to normal in in less than 12 hours.) The sheer tint, dispenser tube, and fragrance are all nice but I still think it tastes bad so I don't go eating it. It's a staple product, plain and simple.

I have been using this every night for 2 months now, and it actually does work. It does not make my lips more chapped or irritated. The consistency of this is very thick and it soothes my lips immediately. Once applied, it does not have a color but it does leave your lips with a nice shine. This lip balm also stays on for a few hours before fading. The only drawback for some people might be that it is heavily scented, but it does not bother me at all. I actually quite like the strong rose scent.

The weather changes are killing my lips. I usually use aquaphor(?) or the Vaseline chapstick, but they just aren’t getting the job done right now. Any recommendations to help with dry lips?

This isn’t a chapstick but it’s still my absolute favorite lip product! It hydrated my lips so nicely and I don’t have to reapply constantly.
