Feather-Light, Buildable Finishing Powder

I ordered this in 0-1 to wear over Kjaer Weis 'Silken' Cream Foundation.I wear RMS Un-cover Up #11.I ordered this to replace my ILIA Fade Into You Powder, which I love, but I was wanting more coverage, and since ILIA has yet to bring out re-fills, disliked wasting the brush/packaging with another full-size purchase.Firstly, the packaging as with all RMS products is beautiful.I love the little cotton puff and using it feels so special! It also works extremely well to apply across the nose, under my eyes, and t-zone.I've been using the aforementioned ILIA Fade Into You brush to apply this; it gives the perfect finish, it keeps makeup oil-free throughout the day and keeps it in place, but without being drying in anyway, or heavy, cakey.Using the ILIA brush, I'm also able to keep it in my purse for touch ups throughout the day!The finish is very natural despite offering extra coverage.I've also used it over the RMS Un-cover Up alone, for days when you only need or want a small amount of (or spot) coverage. If I could only have 3 beauty products, it would be this, RMS Un coverup, and RMS Lip2Cheek in Demure. « less

beautiful un powder

I have dry skin and this “un” powder has worked well to set my foundation without drying my skin or making me look like I have caked on makeup. I usually tap some into the lid of the container and put my fluffy powder brush and gently tap on my T Zone and under eye area. Then I blend gently. This method leaves a nice finish without picking up my dry patches. It works really well with the “un” coverup (I use the 33) and all of my other foundations (because of course I have a wardrobe of foundation). You can use the puff include to press and roll for a nice matte finish.

The product itself is ok, but the packaging is awful. RMS claims the product only has 4 small holes to dispense the product in order to decrease inhalation of dangerous ingredients, but it made the product so difficult to dispense! The puff that it comes with doesn't distribute product evenly, but again RMS recommends that the puff be used with the product to decrease the chances of inhaling dangerous ingredients (described in some comments on the RMS Instagram). I just found that it left my skin looking patchy, so I prefer using it with a brush. It's just too much of a hassle to use the product. The product itself is not bad, but maybe if the packaging was better it would be worth the money.

I have extremely dry skin, and every powder I have tried leaves my skin cakey and accentuates my dry patches. This powder does a great job of setting my makeup and taking down some of the tackiness that comes from using the RMS concealer while still leaving my skin looking healthy and natural. I am very pale, and the fair color is a great match!

Using this is my favorite part of my makeup routine

When I first used this product I was blown away because it's so amazing! It gives you a soft air-brushed look, it's matte (but doesn't look un-natural) and removes any shiny-ness. It looks like you're not wearing any makeup, isn't cakey and you look completely natural! However, I don't recommend baking. When you wet your brush, dip the brush in the product, and put it on your skin it'll sometimes leave patches. If you do want to wet your brush before applying, I suggest making your brush to be damp as much as possible and not too wet. Also, the product does come off over time, but you can always reapply with no fuss.Little nit-picky things: it can smell weird and you may accidentally inhale it because of how fine the powder is. But other than that it is the best and I will continue to purchase! « less

It’s $34.00 but it’s well worth the money. I have very oily skin and it really helps! I have been using it for six months now and I still love it!
