Goes on poorly

The original Rimmel Exaggerate lip liners were excellent! Over time the company must have changed the formula. Originally this lip liner went on smoothly and stayed on all day and the colors were great. Now, the liners are difficult to get on smoothly. They go on splotchy and the tip of the lip liner forms a small ball of product which ends up on your lip line. Plus, it appears they are putting less product in the liner. I will not purchase this again nor would I recommend it.

Fabulous!

I bought this lipliner in a hurry one day as I had a red lipstick and I wanted to get a liner which was reatively cheap. I’m so glad that I purchased this one!It is a pencil which has a twist mechanism meaning that you can twist it up and apply rather than worrying about using pencil sharperners which can be very annoying when there isn't one around. The liner glides onto the lips easily and just one coat gives enough colour to last ages. I have found that lining my lips with this lipliner and then filling them in before using lipstick gives a much longer lasting effect. It lasts really well throughout the day and only requires a little top up now and then. The consistency is thick and moisturising and gives a great colour.I do love to buy myself high-end brands when it comes to makeup but to be honest I think that lipliners are just as good in cheaper brands. I am going to buy myself a few more of these in different colours. Less

worth a couple extra bucks!

This lipliner is on the pricier side for a drug store lipliner, but to me it is worth it. This is a berry-ish red that can be applied as a regular lipliner or (which is what I usually do) sheered out with a fingertip and worn as a gentle matte red stain. It looks very sophisticated that way, very Parisienne! It has good staying power and is quite creamy. I like this better than matte liquid lipstick because it is not as drying as a liquid.

Really Blendable Lipliners with Huge Color Payoff

I can't possibly be the first one writing about these. The web people need to start going through these or something.Anyway, these are amazing. I can tell you, that this compares ONLY to 2 or 3, high-end lipliners that go on just as smoothly and are fairly long lasting. I love lip liners because they make your lipstick stay put longer, but only with a good one can I softly blend inward the edges so it's never an obvious line. There is so much pigment to these, that you can actually wear them like you would wear a stain, and pop either a gloss, or a non-glossy lip pomade on top. These are blendable so I am also able to use two colors at a time to give more depth whether under a lipstick or with a balm. The colors available in this line are impressive, too, ranging from very on-trend to classic. Thank you, Rimmel! <3 « less
