Broke down after a few uses

I don't have any particular complaints in how this sponge applies product. It does a good job of that. But I got these sponges like 2 to 3 weeks ago and one of them has already broken down. I chose to buy this because I didn't want to spend another $20 on the beauty blender (BB) but it seems I may just have to do that since this product is a complete disaster. First thing I noticed is that it soaks up a lot more water, hence a lot more of your product. It's not as bouncy as the BB. The second thing and worst thing about it is it breaks apart after just a few uses. Even just the first few times I used it, the corner of the flat area kinda ripped apart. I've only used regular soap (I use Palmolive) and my hands to wash it. Then the flat area continued getting rough with each use. Finally, in less than a month of using it (and not even daily use) it broke completely apart on the pointed side. I tend to clean it every 1 to 2 uses and this time chunks of the sponge just came off. Did this happen because I stored it inside my makeup bag a few time? Yet it's been inside an enclosed area only when it's completely dry. Is it because I sometimes didn't wash it immediately after using? Yet the instructions say you should wash it after 1 to 3 uses and I never used it more than twice before washing it. I know it's cheap but I really expected more than a month of use of this product. I'll try to use the other one and see how it works but I suspect the same thing might happen. « less

Nice size and quality, love this beauty blender! Super affordable and soft on skin, my skin type is medium/olive and it does an amazing job blending everything, doesn’t suck all my products like other beauty blenders I had! Would recommend!!

Yes Get It! Don't Second Guess It!

i've been using this sponge for roughly 1 month for concealer, foundation and powder. i first wet the sponge by squeezing it under running water then with a lint free towel i squeeze out the excess water and start blending my foundation using a bouncing motion. i also use it to blend out my under eye concealer & set it as well at applying excess powder in areas i like to make bake to help makeup stay on longer. i also clean up my contour with the flat side edges. this sponge is so versitile and the quality it great for the price. if you take care of it it will last you well over a year maybe even more. although they recommend you replace every 3/4 months i have had several for over a year and they work perfectly. i don't use harsh cleaners on it either so just take care of it and i also don't pump my foundation onto it i usually apply foundation to my face them blend from there. i haven't had any staining or difficulty removing product from my sponge with these tequniques. *i tested this product and a few other brushes for free but this experience and opinions are my own.*

Favorite beauty blender

I brought this product a while back and I have used it daily for quite a long time now and I love it !! I have previously had cheaper versions of the sponge but the results prove it's worth the extra few quid ! This sponge is durable longlastkng and leaves a beautiful "miracle" finish ! It is easy to work with and is soft and nice to your skin , also is the quickest blending sponge I've tried yet ! I love this product and would definitely buy it again ! Definitely worth the money !!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Post skin care glowy quick face!✨ took my light makeup off once I got back to my dorm after a long day of classes and needed a little relaxing session before I went to study with a group of friends. Did the YesTo Unicorn Peel off mask, Kylie skin vanilla milk toner, cbd brightening serum, Murad acne clearing solution, and Mac Radiance primer. I followed with the actual makeup: abh foundation stick to contour blended out with beauty blender before makeup,Elf foundation applied w beauty blender and builded to desired coverage, dermablend to bake/set all over and flicked off, L’Oréal powder all over w Jaclyn hill powder brush, elf kabuki brush, then layered in contour areas w jh contour brush. Light blush with Nars dusted rose I think is the name, highlight in tartlette pallet w small brush on cheek bones, forehead, chin, upper lip, and lightly on jaw and above eyes. Lastly, naked illumination (the sparkles one) on highlight spots and finished with too faced hangover setting spray and too faced liquid melted lipstick.

I haven’t done a bold red look in a long time and apparently I’ve really missed it! I used to do a look very similar to this a couple years ago, so it was fun to kinda redo it with the new products and skills and maturity that I didn’t have before. Red is one of the colors for the college that I’m about to attend, so I was trying out a possible game day outfit/makeup duo. Missing products are Kylie Cosmetics Kybrow pencil and under brow highlight stick.
