does anyone know of a highlighter that’s cruelty free but has the same blinding effect as MAC hyper real glow??

try Ofra Cosmetics!! They’re cruelty free and have a bunch of different blinding highlighter shades!! I’m a fan of the shade Pillow Talk personally :) the pearls in them are beautiful!

This stuff is amazing for evening out skin tone and getting rid of dark spots. Also, if you have a pimple coming in, take a cotton pad and have it rest on there for about 15 min.

Your going to think I’m crazy, but I have always had dry peeling lips and nothing has ever worked for me, and I’ve tried it all. I saw something called lanolips, which is a lanolin based lip product but it is way over priced. I had some left over lansinoh nipple balm from nursing my son. Let me tell you, my lips heal over night! And it’s much cheaper than the expensive brand! They are both pretty much the same, I figured if it’s safe to put on my nipples and my son to nurse after I apply it’s safe for my lips.

this foundation is LIKE FULL FULL FULL coverage and leaves your skin looking natural. I AM OBSESSED. Hopefully you live in New York or California because there are actual stores you can go in but you can also order online. Hopefully they are having a sale for Black Friday if you live in the US. I am very fair with a neutral undertones and I use the color NB. It looks darker in the pan then on your skin. The price is amazing Are usually get the 55 ML for 30 bucks and it lasted me a year and some. I wear it everyday. Honestly I strongly recommend their make up line. They have everything for all skin types.

What brands are similar to Colourpop? I really love Colourpop but I also want to branch out into other brands while still looking for the same things such as how CP consistently releases palettes and other products that are always good quality while also being affordable because let’s be real, makeup gets expensive FAST.

All concealers, sunscreens, lotions, etc feel so heavy on my skin and usually cause me to breakout. I have sensitive skin that’s also combination. I live in a humid southern state but I’ll moving up north with a real winter so lotion is going to be super important for me. Any suggestions? #lotion #sensitive #dry #oily #acne #concealer #sunscreen

Makeup Sponge Any recommendations for a good affordable makeup sponge? I’ve tried the Real Techniques, and it’s a little stiff for my personal taste. I’ve also tried EcoTools and I like that one better but I still want to find one I love.

I need a new foundation! I have a real insecurity about makeup transfer. My foundation is okay after I set it with powder and spray but after a few hours the oils in my skin make it transfer again. I have acne prone skin so I want something that’s going to cover but not clog... any suggestions or tips on how to fix transfer? #lookingfor

Can those of you who have tried this product give me more insight on it? I have dry skin and go for a more dewy or natural finish with lighter coverage. Can it also be built up? I’ve been using mainly skin tints or tinted moisturizers but also wanted a nice foundation on hand but nothing too heavy. I stopped using the L’Oréal pro glow and it just started to look real flat and grey on my face. TIA! #dewy #covergirl #drugstore

Question: has anyone purchased this first aid beauty moisturizer from amazon? I’ve read comments stating that it might be a fake product. I’ve heard great things about this moisturizer and I wanna make sure I’m getting the real thing! If you click the link, it appears that First Aid Beauty is the actual distributer. Just want second opinions!

Beginner As of lately I’ve been starting to use products on my eyes to accentuate my eyes to make them stand out when I do my makeup such as blush, bronzer and some highlighter since I don’t know how to do eye makeup. I want to get a real eyeshadow pallet and start experimenting some basic looks. I want to know what kind of pallet to get. I’m particular fond of soft pinky and bronze eye looks. Any suggestions???

When I first started I absolutely loved the nudey toned Urban Decay palettes! I think Morphe palettes are pretty good, specifically the Jaclyn Hill palette, because it has a ton of variety even for when you decide to do even more with color :)

How do you wash your brushes? I use Dawn, and my little cleaning mat, but it does take me a little while to get through all 30+ brushes so I’m trying to explore other options. Also, I’m looking for the best method to clean my Real Techniques sponge too.

I use the johnsons baby shampoo to wash my brushes and beauty sponges and it works really well. I have sensitive skin and it doesn’t irritate me. I use a spinning makeup brush cleaner set to clean my brushes and it works really well and you can find some relatively cheap ones on amazon! Hope this helps!! :)

if you don’t have sensitive skin, i recommend the chemical exfoliant by the ordinary! it helped clear my stubborn acne scars and it’s 10x better then any physcial exfoliants.
