my acne has always been a huge insecurity of mine, until recently I started forcing myself to see it as normal rather than a disease. I’ve tried many products but they never have really cleared me up. I’ve heard that raw African black soap is really good for acne (which I have quite a bit of) my skin used to be a lot worse years back but never to the point of cystic acne, as of right now it’s very controlled but I break out easily. Any advice on what brand has the best raw black soap or any good cleansers to clear up acne? I don’t have much acne but I do have the little tiny bumps that won’t go away and a few acne bumps here and there.

Has anyone tried the freeman black sugar and charcoal scrub? I’ve recently bought it and have been using it and it seems to be doing okay. But I’m not really liking the fact that it’s a scrub

How often are you using it? Everyday use for exfoliators (especially a physical exfoliators like a scrub) can be way too damaging for your skin. Depending what skin type you have I wouldn’t recommend using an exfoliators more than 3 times a week. The ordinary has great and affordable products you should check out!

Makeup remover for sensitive skin I have really sensitive skin and eye area. My skin is normal to dry and I’m slightly acne prone. My facial cleanser I love but it doesn’t get all the makeup off on its own. Every time I remove my makeup eye area feels so irritated and I’ve tried multiple removers. The outer corners of my eyes can even become raw, I’m not using force to get the makeup off either. This issue has made me wear makeup less than I’d prefer. What are the best makeup removers for this issues, especially for the eye area?

I’ve had a lot of trouble finding an effective makeup remover that didn’t irritate my eyes, too. And I recently discovered a Japanese cleansing oil called Kose White on Amazon. It’s very gentle, absolutely no excessive rubbing needed, doesn’t strip my skin and gets pretty much every trace of makeup off. And it’s only about $9.

So I ordered this remover/cleanser and it’s definitely gonna be part of my routine now. Today I put on my toughest waterproof mascara and it removed it perfectly. I don’t even think I need to double cleanse with it. I had absolutely no irritation from it and my skin looks so clean. Thank you again.

I always heard Shea butter was a good moisturizer, so I bought raw shea butter and used it on my face. After a few weeks I noticed I would get pimples and my skin would feel dry, which was odd. Until I heard that it’s supposed to trap in moister, so if you put a serum beforehand and then shea butter it would lock it in but i heard if your skin is dry and you put nothing before shea butter it would lock in that dryness. Is this true? Has anyone experienced this? Oh and I believe I might have dehydrated skin. #sheabutter #moisturizer #dehydrated

Try a hydrating ingredient like aloe Vera under a moisturizer! You’re right, lots of moisturizers are actually humectants. They seal in moisture, but don’t add any to the skin. Adding a hydrating ingredient like aloe or a hydrating essence or toner underneath will help this.

Serious help needed! I have tried over 20 brands of eyeliner, water proof and non waterproof, and I can’t find one that stays on all day and provides absolutely NO smudging, but keeps my cat eye all day! The closest I’ve gotten is Sugar waterproof or Stilla. Need your suggestions!

It does! Because it’s a lip oil, it actually wears off over time. Like a lip balm, you’ll have to refresh every couple of hours- this is definitely not a gloss- because it’s not meant to stay. It feels and looks amazing. As far as I know, Sugar Rush is only available on the Tarte website and in Ulta, though.

covering your hands in a hand salve or coconut oil and putting gloves on top and letting it sit for 15-20 minutes can do WONDERS. i use a burts bees hand salve and hempz body lotion on the regular (both great & very moisturizing!!) and the classic working hands salve when it gets extra cold

Sooo I wish I took more pics!! But I took the hot pink shade from the Blood Sugar Palette and toned it down to be more wearable with the pure white shade! I used Kylie’s Bronze palette for a very light taupe color for the crease. Wanted this to be wearable but still interesting 💖😇

Super easy DIY lip scrub; mix coconut oil or honey with white (or brown) granulated sugar. Brown sugar is more fine, the white sugar crystals can come off rough as they’re much bigger. #diy #holygrail #lipscrub #skincare
