Mascara Anyone have recommendations on a good mascara? I love the effect of long, voluminous eyelashes. I used Too Faced Better Than Sex and liked it, but I'd like to try something new. I use Rimmel London Scandal Eyes when I'm on a budget. Don't really care about price, just looking for recommendations on a good lengthening, voluminizing mascara.

Maybelline lash sensational! It’s my favorite ever and since it’s drugstore is affordable.

Although this is the dupe for better than sex I don’t like it, it was so clumpy when I used it! But I have heard a lot of people say they love it so this is just my person opinion

I have slightly sensitive skin and this doesn’t give me any type of bad reaction, I use it every time I do my makeup and it smooths everything out and makes my skin look so much better.

I am about to start doing makeup as a business, and I need help with different product suggestions for skin types. What are good products for oily/sensitive skin, and dry/combination ? Also what are good techniques to go by before applying foundations to each ( moisturize, primer, set, face mist ) so you gone get the caked or crease effect ?

@Lydia Rhodes I’m going to try that. And I literally have this foundation lol. It just seems like once I set the concealer it looks weird. So I think is it maybe I need to change primers again, or set before my foundation 😓

to make it not cakey use a beauty blender. to not crease, put powder under the eyes or where it creases the most immediately after you do the concealer! good luck!

coconut oil question!! so, i’ve been using coconut oil for my stretch marks...i had heard that it helps moisturize the skin to keep the elasticity from wearing out in your skin and helping it to repair. i’ve been using it and it seems to be helping but i’m wondering if it’s just a placebo effect? i hope it’s not but i was wondering if anyone has a testimonial about coconut oil + stretch marks? or if it didn’t work? thanks! :)

I’m afraid to try brow pomade because I don’t want to end up with sharpie brows since it’s so much darker than a powder or pencil but I want to start practicing with it since I’ve had quite a few people tell me “it’s life changing” (well specifically the Anastasia dipbrow). Any tips on how to use brow pomade? Any techniques or advice will help. I love the whole Instagram brow look but I’ve seen quite a few people attempt it and end up with two dark boxes and that’s what I want to avoid. Also tips on what shade to buy, my hair color is black but I feel like buying a dark black color will give me the effect I want to avoid.

Underline the brow very lightly, then outline the outer 3/4 of the top. Blend upward with a spoolie to get rid of the lines, and fill in lightly. That's how I do it and it works very well.

So I’ve been using the Cetaphil @Gentle Skin Cleanser for about a year now and it’s been great at helping with basic white heads. However, in a few weeks, my skin will start breaking out in cystic acne (I was taking a medication which had the side effect of helping with my cystic acne and I’m no longer taking it). I don’t think the face wash I’m currently using will be much help with that type of acne. So any recommendations on a good face wash?

Hey there! I have similar acne problems as you, and I realised basic facial cleansers just didn’t cut it for me. One product that’s really helped clear up my skin is the Neutrogena Deep Clean Invigorating Scrub. I use it as a daily cleanser (sometimes twice a day) and it’s a staple in my skin care routine. I also like to use a lotion on my face so I’m not constantly stripping my skin and leaving it try. I recommend the Clinique moisture surge. It’s really good. Hope this helps!

cushion shade help? Hi, I’m really into Korean makeup products, especially cushion foundations. I wanted to buy the PONY EFFECT Everlasting Cushion Foundation, but don’t know what shade to buy. I’m ordering it and obviously don’t want to buy the wrong shade. I’m a white American who usually wears the shade ivory or light beige with Western makeup. Does anyone know what shade that would translate to for a Korean product, or are they similar?

In a pinch for time, or just can’t find a Blush that works?? For warmer skin tones/ People or Color, HIGHLIGHTER is most often the way to go- not Blush. A sweep of Bronzer or Highlighter gives a dewy, goddess-like effect without the time consuming hassle of finding a Blush that doesn’t look cartoonish or dusty on brown skin! 🙌🏾💄 #TipsandTricks #BeautyTips #ProTips #WOC #POC #BlackWomen

I used to use the By Terry bronzing primer serum but the $93.00 price every few months was kinda killing it for me, it’s an amazing product but I wanted to find something similar with a lower price. Long story short, if you are a fan of that serum closest dupe I found was the L’Oréal Glowlotion, same effect fraction of the cost and its amazing!!

New face routine already seeing a difference within the week! I have oily skin, with slight dark spots and redness. This combination has visibility made my face brighter and clearer. I use it after washing my face in the morning, and apply again after washing my face at night. Also with the Mario Badescu Rose Hip Nourishing oil. The Rose Hip Oil does NOT effect my oily skin
