Horrible applicator/wonderful formula!

The applicator brush is a nightmare. It's more like for concealer. It barely digs out any of the product I had to go back in the bottle multiple times to get a full face on. It is not build-able nor is it lightweight. It goes on pretty thick and doesn't move around much. The formula is medium to full coverage, with a demi-matte finish. A little bit of oil on the t-zone at the end of a 9 hour day but coverage on the rest of my face was superb. It looked beautiful on the skin overall, not too drying, especially over the Spotlight primer. Kudos for the spf 20 also but the bottle and applicator are a nightmare! What were the packaging people thinking!?!

Love! I have sensitive/dry skin with eczema and this foundation is my favorite! It’s medium coverage, but can be built to high coverage. It’s long-lasting for me and it’s glow-y, but not a sweaty glow. I love it! Plus, it’s cruelty-free and from the drugstore!

My new favorite

I have been using Urban decay's Naked foundation for a few months, and just cannot justify the $40. I'm 35 years old with fair to medium skin and quite a bit of red/pink undertones. I still struggle with adult acne from time to time, but thankfully do not have an issue with wrinkles yet; just large pores and oily skin. However, I am a flight attendant who lives in the West, so I also have issues with dry patches. It's annoying.I spend a lot of time outdoors when I'm off work - I cannot wear makeup that looks heavy in the sun. I'm very picky - it MUST look natural! That said, this makeup is PERFECT! It's not heavy at all, but it has better coverage than Naked even did, in my opinion. It looks and FEELS incredibly natural - and stays for long periods of time. And it doesn't make me break out - even if I wear it to the gym! As a matter of fact, I think my skin feels better after wearing this. It takes about one to two dips with the Dipper for me to get all the coverage I need. I'll even use it to conceal my problem spots with a concealer brush and it does just fine. Also, I don't use a flash very often in pictures, but I have not noticed any flashback.I'm LW1 and it may be a tad too light for me, but it hides my pinks and is manageable with some bronzer. I may try a shade darker next purchase. Please don't stop making this! « less

Exceeded my expectations.. Great for dry skin

I've tried a few foundations from physician's formula that have actually been amazing (youthful wear, argan wear bb cream) but the shade range has been so bad that I could only use these if I have a tan. This one really surprised me with the shade range, the quality of the product and the packaging. I got the shade LW2 (the lightest warm shade) and it is a perfect match. For reference, I am close to the shade 120 Buff in Almay's Best Blend Forever foundation. I didn't notice any oxidation with this foundation. It has a medium coverage - but it looks smooth and flawless. it also doesn't pick up on any of my dry patches, or break up on me throughout the day as most foundations do. I apply this with a real techniques blending sponge (which is my preferred method with every foundation). It has a natural finish - I don't feel like I need to set it on my combo skin. Lastly, I wish this would have a higher SPF or no SPF at all. SPF 20 isn't enough for me to wear this without any other sun protection, and it may cause flashback. I have not tested it for flashback yet so I do not know if that will occur. As for the packaging, I personally love the large doe foot applicator. It's so easy to apply the perfect amount every time. I wish the bottle was plastic, not glass though. It feels very luxurious but I'm afraid I will break it if it drops.I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review. « less

Beautiful skin!

My skin type: 40 something, oily, acne-prone skin. This foundation provides the buildable coverage I need to cover acne scars and dark under-eyes. I was apprehensive with the applicator, but I've found it to be so much quicker and easier than a pump or pour out method. I swab the foundation onto my face, then use the Morphe M439 brush in a stippling motion on areas that need more coverage, and buff it into areas that need less coverage. This blends so easily and melts right into the skin. I only set with a setting powder on the T-Zone, under-eye, and cheeks (to apply bronzer, blush, and highlighter) This foundation seriously lasts me 12+ hours throughout a full 9 hour work day and Mom duties when I get home. No cracking, creasing, nor caking. I've been using this for a couple of weeks and notice my skin has also improved. It looks much brighter, acne scars are fading and best of all, no new breakouts! This has replaced my IT Cosmetics CC cream! I'm about a Mac NC 40 to NC 42 and bought the shades MW2 and DW2. I put the lighter shade towards the center of my face and the darker shade on the outer perimeter. Being that it's winter, I can get away with the MW2 as an all over base. Ideally, would love to see the shade range expand even more but I'm still excited that PF has finally put out shades that I'm able to use.

What is a good foundation that doesn’t cake, that isn’t heavy, and doesn’t stick to my imperfections or dry skin? I’ve tried, Maybelline, elf, the brand from the dollar store & one my sister-in-law gave me.The dollar store work well also came with a colored primer, but it made me break out. Any recommendations like that? I’m new to make up. So any info helps. At this Moment I’m just using primer & color corrector due to redness & dark circles.

Does anyone have any drugstore full coverage foundation recom.? I do have acne mostly on my chin and I have dry skin. I use the fit me dewy but it’s medium coverage and it tends to give me dry patches and an oily T zone throughout the day HELP

This is my favorite drugstore foundation. You can build it up to pretty full coverage and it has a nice satin finish. It works really well with my dry skin but it does claim to suit all skin types.

I’ve recently tried L’oréal Paris foundation because of the great reviews I’ve heard. Every time I put it on it leaves a weird texture. I’ve tried many different primers, moisturizers, beauty blenders and brushes with it. Does anyone recommend a better foundation for dry skin?

The healthy foundation from the drug store is great but I also suggest you add one drop of face oil to any foundation if you have really dry skin.
