smooth

it has fabulous coverage while still leaving the skin looking like skin - no cake face with this cc cream, it has spf30 which is reassuring is the australian summer, it has amazing ingredients that are actually doing the skin a favour whilst wearing it and compared to most foundations where you only get 30ml of product you are getting 50ml with this and really it's every bit as good as foundation with added benefits

- Beautybay User

it lasts all day, and my face looks fresh and smooth it doesnt crease or settles into fine lines

love the coverage (natural looking but equal to a foundation) and semi-radiant finish (you can set with a powder if you prefer a matte finish; i've set with the nars powder foundation and the mufe hd powder and neither looked heavy)

- Sephora User

i returned the new nars all day luminous foundation and got this instead and i am so so so happy i did

color correction

and oh it color corrects as well no more rosacea peaking through

- Sephora User

you get light coverage and it's main job is color correct

- Sephora User

color accuracy

oxidizes

it is extremely difficult to apply smoothly and within seconds of application, it turned a nasty shade of orange

- Sephora User

it looked okay just after application but quickly starting turning more and more orange until i had to take it off after a few hours of wear

- Sephora User

finish

demi-matte

this product gives surprisingly medium coverage and a semi matte finish for my very oily skin

- Sephora User

the finish is more of a natural/semi-matte finish

- Sephora User

coverage

medium coverage

it has a thick consistency, which i like because it provides a nice sheer to medium coverage depending on how much i use and how i apply it

- Sephora User

this gives my skin subtle glow, correct my uneven skin tone, and provides medium coverage with layers

Better than most foundations

I have been using this daily since I got it for Christmas after trying a sample in late summer. This was the first CC cream I've used and I prefer it over my favorite foundation. It has a thick consistency, which I like because it provides a nice sheer to medium coverage depending on how much I use and how I apply it. On the days I don't want to put in too much fuss into my routine I use my fingers to apply it, otherwise I use the Real Techniques expert face brush which works great with this product. I commute to work on public transportation and I feel that this CC cream provides a nice barrier between all the nasties in the air and my face. My skins texture has improved since using this and acne scars fade a lot faster than before I started using this. I also appreciate the SPF in this as well. I used to be adamant against using sunscreens because every one I had tried clogged my pores, smelled horrible, or felt so heavy under makeup. But this one doesn't have any sunscreen smell (unlike the Smashbox BB cream) and is so light feeling, like second skin. It has a satin finish and I set it with setting powder only because I can get slightly oily in my T-zone. I have also used the Hourglass lighting powders over this when going out during the day on the weekends to lunch or something like that. This will give you a white cast in flash photography but I don't use it in the evenings typically. For reference I have dry skin which can get shiny between my eyebrows and on my nose. This does not cling to dry spots, it's very moisturizing. My skin tone is medium (NC30-35) with very red cheeks. The medium shade works perfect for me, has not gotten orange but that can be because I have tanned coloring. This will not work for pale ladies, even the light shade. The coverage also tones down my cheeks and just makes them looked like I've applied blush. Overall I love this product. I'm not even interested in trying other CC or BB creams, or even foundations. This is all I need, apart fr concealer.

Truly the best cc cream ever!

Ok ladies please listen up. I have tried ALL the BB and CC creams here on QVC and have spend $100s & $100s of dollars. The closest one I've settled with was Josie Maran. Ive tried the other ones im sure you all know which popular ones im talking about (one begins with a "I"). I've used them but they were all so heavy and thick and vert hard to spread on my skin. I know on those you have to use very little but as much as I tried to use as little as possible, it felt so heavy and extremely oily. I bought this one and my skin said Hallelujah!! This fell so light and moisturizing on my skin and has the best coverage of all the other cc's and bb's on the market. Im 53yrs. young with no wrinkles but have some hyperpgmentation on my cheeks and this is the only one that has been able to cover them without concealer! Im so in love with this and although it's a bit pricey it's TOTALLY worth it. With this cream im able to not use concealer and SPF since it's all in there! I highly recommend this. It has made my makeup routine much easier but the best is that it looks so natural without being sticky and shiny. I like to finish it off with a little powder for all day freshness. If u don't want to waste your money looking for the best, get this one and don't waste your money searching for the best as this is THE BEST!! « less

Favorite CC Cream

Tried a sample of this and loved the way it looks. I have melisma (pregnancy mask) on my upper cheekbones and hereditary dark circles. At 40, I have smile lines and some very fine lines near the eye area. My skin is normal to a little dry. I tried this on today over Lancôme Genefique. Since I have a light (not fair) complexion and the light-to-medium sample looked a little dark, I mixed it with a couple of drops of Givenchy Photoperfection in Perfect Vanilla . I am a mean critic when it comes to my face, and usually gripe about makeup settling in my fine lines and cracking at my smile lines. And to make it worse, I peek at my face in hubby's 8x shaving mirror to see how foundations look--almost none pass the test at that magnification--that close up, foundations can look old-lady-powdery, cakey, too sparse, uneven, etc. With that said, I tried this CC cream as stated above, and was absolutely thrilled. It looks flawless and beautiful--and natural...even in hubby's shaving mirror. However, it did not cover my very dark hereditary eye circles perfectly --no foundation or cream ever does. I did not try to build up coverage in that area, so it may be possible. It did cover the melisma. I am online tonight to order the full size. After a few hours, it does feel less dewy. So, if you have normal to dry skin, you may want to wear this over a good moisturizer. If you have oily skin, you will probably be all set without a moisturizer--this cream has great slip--not gunky. I would choose this over other foundations because it looks natural and because it is good for your skin. Less

Wanted to Love but.....

I love the skin care benefits in this CC cream along with the SPF. I was looking for a great all-in-one product for the summer to cover minor imperfections, be lightweight, look natural, and provide some spf but this was not going to work. No matter how lightly I applied, it looked caked on and highlighted my flaws, especially blemishes. After a couple of hours, it felt greasy and just slid around my face. It also never quite dried on my skin making using my brushes after very sticky and difficult to finish my makeup. I do have oily acne prone skin so it possibly could work on very dry skin.

Great for Dry or Combination Skin

I got a deluxe sample size of this in the Sephora Skin Bender kit (which I absolutely love). I never would have looked twice at this CC cream - I've never used PTR products - but now that I've tried it, I'm hooked. I will definitely be purchasing the full size product. This has become a staple in my daily routine. For reference I am light-medium skin with yellow undertones, so 117 in MUFE HD / NC20-NC30. The light-medium shade blends perfectly into my skin and down my neck. (Very fair skin will probably not find this CC cream to be a perfect match, but it blends so seamlessly that it can easily be worked into a highlighting/contour routine with no visible difference between face and neck.) I've tried a few other BB creams and been disappointed with the coverage, texture, or shade range, but this one meets each of those categories for my skin specifically. I also have very acne prone and sensitive, dry skin, and have recently been converting from harsh salicylic acid products to more moisturizing products and it has worked wonders for my skin. This CC cream along with my updated skincare routine has made my morning routine a breeze. In terms of texture, it is smooth and creamy and provides medium-full coverage. I use this after moisturizer, add some correcting concealer under the eyes, and set my entire face with a loose powder. Absolutely gorgeous finish. Pop on some blush, bronzer, gloss and mascara and you are ready to go. Love this product!!!! Less
