Covers red patches while adding lasting moisture - LOVE it!

The moisture I feel in my skin from this lasts much longer than other products. I fell in love with this when I had a cold and had a formal function to attend. Because I had a small size (only offered seasonally as part of a set, unfortunately), I stuck it in my purse to moisturize after blowing my nose. When I used it, it completely covered up the red nose from my cold, and felt amazingly smooth and clean. My skin is fair to medium, neutral, and I didn't notice any odd tone while using it - it just blended into my skin tone. I'm also 52 years old, and find that VitaZing helps to smooth out the uneven skin tones that come with age. Living in a very dry high altitude climate, I appreciate the long-lasting moisturizing effects of VitaZing. I now use it daily, sometimes in place of foundation (like a very light BB cream), other times under makeup. Either way, it smooths out uneven skin tones (like a very light concealer when used under makeup), while moisturizing so effectively that it feels like its working all day. This is the only Origins product (so far) I consistently buy and don't ever want to run out of. I tried several other origins products at the same time as this one, but this is the one that's been a big hit with me. I now keep 2 tubes on hand - one at home, the other in my gym bag. Getting another for my purse. « less

Amazing product, i'm in love!

I bought this product 2 weeks ago and it as already made its way onto my must-have list (which takes a lot :) and even though I am a student on EMA I will still use my money to buy it. I expect it to last about 2 months ish.I have oily, yet dull skin, spots, large pores, broken capillaries and discolouration. Usually I hate it and cover with it with full coverage foundation. With this product I now only use concealer on my spots and sometimes a touch of powder, it feels so refreshing and comfortable. The product is in a squeezy tube making it great to carry with you and very hygeinic. You need about a pea sized amount to cover a whole face. The product comes out a white colour with grey speckles. When rubbed or smoothed into the skin you will see a slight golden colour develop (I would be careful to smooth into your neck if you are very fair - although I still do this even when I have my fake tan on). It does definetley adapt to your skin, not sure how but I use it when I am natural and very pale and oily, on my mum who has olive, normal skin and also my grandma now uses it and she is very dark tanned and has dry skin. It works perfectly on everyone I use it one, which to me makes it a stand out product. The SPF 15 is a great bonus and for me, as I dont burn easily, it is great for everyday even in the warmer weather we have been having. It doesn't really cover but it does even out everything. It takes the redness out of my spots and hormonal areas (around the nose, chin) and reduces my dark under eye circles too (bonus). It gives a healthy colour, like you have just caught a little sun. It leaves a glow in all the right places and moisturisers (obviously). Somehow it seems to reduce the appearance of pores.I apply it in the morning after I have cleansed. Simply smooth on as you would any other moisturiser. I usually apply concealer to any spots, around my nose and chin then finish with either powder or setting spray. Also makes a great base for foundation. Doesn't oxidise or go patchy.Oh and smells gorgeous, like holidays :)As I said, I am in love and will buy plenty more in the future... my mum also ordered some after the first time trying it. Also Origins service is great, expect your delivery with in 1-2 days even with normal delivery service, packed securely and with great samples. « less

Great natural moisturizer!

To start off, I am a male. For a while all I used was Cetaphil face wash and Dove Men's face moisturizer for my face routine. However, I didn't like the way Cetaphil dried my skin out after every use. Not only that, but I also began to lean more toward natural products because I wanted to get away from harsh chemicals. It was a tricky process to fine the right products that I felt were best to put on my skin, because just because something is made of natural products doesn't mean it will help your skin. For example, Neutrogena's Naturals line is known for its bad reviews because of skin irritation. I'm very picky about what I put on my face because I don't want to break out. I would say I have normal skin, however my face normally gets dry after I get out of the shower. After continuous research of companies that made natural skincare products, I settled on Origins, even though their products are pricey (even more so for a college student). However, I believe that if I'm putting substances onto my face it best be something that is good for my skin. Origins is a well trusted company, and after buying their Checks and Balances face wash and this VitaZing moisturizer I can see why they are trusted. I absolutely love this moisturizer. It really does make my skin look healthier. I'm not a fan of greasy products, and I don't find this product greasy like others have said. However, this moisturizer is pretty thick and if over-applied I'm sure it would make your face really oily. With this stuff a little bit goes a long ways, and I guess that makes up for its high price even though the tube isn't that big. It's categorized as tinted, however it simply changes to match the color of your skin, therefore making your skin look more evenly toned. The tint isn't obvious at all, in fact you probably won't even notice it's tinted. However, the tint does make my skin look healthier. I like to apply this moisturizer onto a clean face and feel that it's important to wash your face after wearing it all day because it is a thick moisturizer and my face is slightly oil once the day is finished. I wouldn't suggest this to people with oily skin, however if you have dry skin I feel that your skin will thank you for it! The moisturizer does it's job and it does it well! « less

Awful

I wanted to like this sooooo bad! I have heard great things about it on YouTube and I have never been steered wrong, but this was a huge miss! I'm pale but not extremely so and this product was just slightly too oragne-y bronze. It also takes forever to sink in and once it does my skin felt tight and just weird. I had to blend it all the way down my neck because it was so discolored. I could have dealt with all of that and used it once and a while but after three days of using this product all of my pores are now clogged. My skin has always been smooth and normal but using this product has destroyed that. My skin now feels rough and the texture is awful. I immediately stopped using the product once I felt the texture change. I know it was this product because I have used nothing new expect this. I have never had my skin react this way to a product. I am going back to Sephora tomorrow to return it. « less

Moisturizer, Sunscreen, Primer, Tint All-in-1!

Fantastic product! I bought this moisturizer with the intent of speeding up my morning beauty routine after stumbling across a beauty blog post that mentioned how this evens skintone. This product truly goes above and beyond! It really does even out your skintone and give you a healthy glow (non-orange, non-bronzy, non-shimmer)! I wouldn't rely on this to replace your foundation/concealer--at least for me, since I have some post-acne hyperpigmentation that hasn't completely faded out yet so I do need some extra coverage in a few problem areas. When applied to the skin, it truly does transform to match your skin shade perfectly! I wear Lancome's loose mineral foundation on a daily basis and although the coverage is buildable, I hate having to layer on the foundation and concealer until the natural sheen of my skin was completely covered (in order to conceal hyperpigmentation). After applying this moisturizer, I only needed a light dusting of the mineral foundation, and no urgent need to add concealer! The effect is flawless skin with a natural luminosity. Just be sure to let it really sink into the skin for a few minutes before applying your makeup. Another surprise, it balanced out my oily skin. By lunch time, my entire face is usually an oil slick that calls for 2 or 3 oil-absorbing sheets and a few pats of pressed powder. Since I've been using this, I've been pulling out my compact mirror throughout the day at work--no oily shine! Just a natural, dewy glow (not greasy, at least for me). I haven't touched my oil-blotting sheets and powder compact since I started using this. And though the price may be steep, it's well worth it and I will actually end up saving money AND time with continued purchases of this product because it serves as your daily moisturizer, sunscreen, primer, and light tint all in one! No need for separate products, and this cuts down the amount of foundation/concealer needed if your skin needs a bit more coverage like mine at the moment. It's oil-free, does not irritate or breakout oily, acne-prone skin, AND the vitamins and antioxidant ingredients will benefit your skin in the longrun. My skin hasn't looked this great since before I hit puberty and the acne that came with it. It's better to start early and invest in good skincare products than to neglect skin in your youth and resort to more expensive, temporary quick-fix filler treatments so don't let the price tag scare you away! Try this out! Your skin will thank you. « less

What would be a dewy tinted moisturizer or BB/CC cream for sensitive skin?

Try this. It’s a tinted moisturizer with spf. It’s really hydrating and great for sensitive skin. I love it
